I saw a gorgeous woman at a cafe before (and I'm a straight woman). I couldn't help looking at her when I walked past; she was just so radiant. It's completely normal for people to take a good long look at someone conventionally beautiful.

She is definitely gorgeous! She’s also *intentionally* filming complete strangers, which is a no-go in my book. Honestly, I have seen the videos of this woman and I have to say, she is absolutely stunning. I think what's a bit unsettling is zooming into the faces of people in public without their consent, not every person is entitled to react to someone in a certain way, no matter how divine or heavenly they look. Other than that, I don't necessarily understand the hate she's getting about her appearance, most of these people are projecting their own insecurities and low self-esteem onto her because so often people's egos are threatened by real feminine energy. I just hate the fact that this society demands people to diminish their extraordinary light in order to not upset people. My whole life I've never felt fully comfortable in my own skin. And all the media we consume is only feeding that. The whole "girl next door" trope, where she has no idea she's literally played by the most attractive actor ever, or any female lead in practically any romance. They can never be proud of who they are, and show it. They are always shy, or embarrassed of how they look. Always confused or shocked when the male lead tells them they're beautiful for the first time. Kinda went on a rant there, but I really wish men, women, nonbinaries, everyone, was allowed to be proud of their skin.

I think it's because alot of people assume that being attractive is something a person is born with but 99% of the time, it isn't. The hair, the skin, the posture, watching what you eat, exercise, getting in sleep, the style, the make up, the confidence etc. It takes alot of dedication as well. It's an asset that people work on, so I don't understand why she can't show it off just like how people show off their assets (talents, wealth, being intelligent etc) without getting all the unnecessary criticism.
I would not say 99% but yeah those things absolutely enhance your attractiveness for sure but people are also born pretty, features don't change because of how you walk or eat you know. But it doesn't mean people got any right to hate someone just because they find someone more pretty than them.

Most beautiful people are probably born that way (or enhanced) but attractiveness is different. Attractiveness involves magnetism. It's involve proper grooming, clothes, conduct, posture, maintaining a nice figure thru diet and exercise, personality etc. There's alot of beautiful people walking around NY who are not turning heads like this. Don't be. I'm objectively a 7/10. Above average but not at all in the top 20%of good-looking people. I don't like women that say they're a 10 when they're clearly not even a 5 or 6. Confidence is important and all but that's not confidence, that's delusion or lying to yourself. Or that "Every woman is a 10". They clearly don't know how beauty standards work. Also the ideal "beautiful" face/body is different in every culture as well. I'm what japanese women would consider to be the perfect body but I'm wayyy to skinny for my taste atm (always have been but I'm still 10kg away from my ideal weight which would be around 65kg due to my height. I lost a lot of weight to a sickness 2 years ago, no ED dw it was sth body-related) but in africa or the middle east I'd be not "curvy enough" for instance. Or not "thicc" enough as americans say. There is literally a black model I follow who slays an afro and she walks in public places getting peoples reactions to her outfits, hair and everything (her name is Sonia barbie) but when she does it no one says anything like this. We must STOP thinking that by being pretty, you are somehow disqualifying others. You can be pretty and that doesn't mean you're saying that everyone else is ugly. People act like she offended them or called them unattractive, but she can feel and be beautiful and at the same time there can be other beautiful people. You can have two attractive individuals in a room, and that doesn't mean one of them is ugly, it doesn't work like that. Furthermore, i think false modesty has become a standard in society 🙄 You are not allowed to feel good about yourself, to feel pretty, smart or proud of your qualities... It's so sad, somehow it's more acceptable to put yourself down than to say nice things about yourself. But why? That's so toxic. Confidence and self-love should be the benchmark for everyone.

It seems like you gotta have the right mindset about jealousy if you don't want to turn into a toxic person. As someone who used to be more judgmental because of insecurity, I end up feeling way better about myself when I hype someone up ("they're gorgeous, good for them") compared to hating on them ("they're beautiful so I hate them because I can't be them"). It doesn't magically cure your self-esteem issues but you're not projecting it on someone else and being hateful. tbh though I kind of wonder if more people are looking because she's being recorded and they're curious about why. Honestly, I have seen the videos of this woman and I have to say, she is absolutely stunning. I think what's a bit unsettling is zooming into the faces of people in public without their consent, not every person is entitled to react to someone in a certain way, no matter how divine or heavenly they look. Other than that, I don't necessarily understand the hate she's getting about her appearance, most of these people are projecting their own insecurities and low self-esteem onto her because so often people's egos are threatened by real feminine energy. The problem isn't the woman in my opinion, the problem is when you film random people without their consent or knowledge. My whole life I've never felt fully comfortable in my own skin. And all the media we consume is only feeding that. The whole "girl next door" trope, where she has no idea she's literally played by the most attractive actor ever, or any female lead in practically any romance. They can never be proud of who they are, and show it. They are always shy, or embarrassed of how they look. Always confused or shocked when the male lead tells them they're beautiful for the first time. I think it's because alot of people assume that being attractive is something a person is born with but 99% of the time, it isn't. The hair, the skin, the posture, watching what you eat, exercise, getting in sleep, the style, the make up, the confidence etc. It takes alot of dedication as well.

I would not say 99% but yeah those things absolutely enhance your attractiveness for sure but people are also born pretty, features don't change because of how you walk or eat you know. But it doesn't mean people got any right to hate someone just because they find someone more pretty than them.

Most beautiful people are probably born that way (or enhanced) but attractiveness is different. Attractiveness involves magnetism. It's involve proper grooming, clothes, conduct, posture, maintaining a nice figure thru diet and exercise, personality etc. There's alot of beautiful people walking around NY who are not turning heads like this. Like Rebal pointed out, it's this lady's posture, smile, glow, how she did her hair, walk and conduct that's turning all the heads.

This toxic culture is so insidious. I am SCARED to like how I look because I’m convinced that even thinking I’m pretty will turn me into a narcissist. I literally feel more comfortable calling myself degrading names, than I do calling myself just “not ugly”. That’s sick and nobody is born this way.
Don't be. I'm objectively a 7/10. Above average but not at all in the top 20%of good-looking people. I don't like women that say they're a 10 when they're clearly not even a 5 or 6. Confidence is important and all but that's not confidence, that's delusion or lying to yourself. Or that "Every woman is a 10". They clearly don't know how beauty standards work. Also the ideal "beautiful" face/body is different in every culture as well. I'm what japanese women would consider to be the perfect body but I'm wayyy to skinny for my taste atm (always have been but I'm still 10kg away from my ideal weight which would be around 65kg due to my height. I lost a lot of weight to a sickness 2 years ago, no ED dw it was sth body-related) but in africa or the middle east I'd be not "curvy enough" for instance. Or not "thicc" enough as americans say.
All I'm trying to say is that you look good as long as you feel genuinely happy and healthy and showing that makes you even more attractive

We must STOP thinking that by being pretty, you are somehow disqualifying others. You can be pretty and that doesn't mean you're saying that everyone else is ugly. People act like she offended them or called them unattractive, but she can feel and be beautiful and at the same time there can be other beautiful people. You can have two attractive individuals in a room, and that doesn't mean one of them is ugly, it doesn't work like that.

It seems like you gotta have the right mindset about jealousy if you don't want to turn into a toxic person. As someone who used to be more judgmental because of insecurity, I end up feeling way better about myself when I hype someone up ("they're gorgeous, good for them") compared to hating on them ("they're beautiful so I hate them because I can't be them"). It doesn't magically cure your self-esteem issues but you're not projecting it on someone else and being hateful.
