    Hey Daniel - thanks for featuring Junkie XL Brass. We mailed you about the freeze issue - we fixed some similar issues during testing, so we're curious to find out exactly what's causing the issue on your setup. Keep up the great work and happy holidays!

      In Digital Performer 10, clicking the Store or My Licenses crashes my DAW. There must be some kind of issue with that as it appears by the video it causes an issue in Cubase as well.

      Orchestral tools are the MVP's of tech support, I sent them an issue right after Metropolis Arc 3 came out and let them know they had a sample glitch on a multi where a flute would play on a specific note of a non-woodwind patch and they had it fixed in like a week.

    Dude.... 58 year old trumpet player from Pennsylvania US..... love your videos.......just found your channel the other day. Getting into orchestration.........You do a phenomenal job at dissecting these libraries...... You saved me a bundle of money by not buying BBC after seeing that review. Keep em coming. As a pro trumpet 🎺 player .......this library sounds incredible!

    Hey guys so it seems our stream actually helped to diagnose the source of some of the crashes seen in the video! It looks like the way Apple handles the web/browser components in OSX 10.12 is what is causing the fuckery. I believe for now they have raised the required system specs to OSX 10.13 while they look into if there is a way to make it possible to fix for previous versions. So the recommended advice is if you are on an older OSX, don't click on the store while in the plugin. Who would have thought our little stream would help fix stuff rather than just break it xD

      Nice video! So just to clarify, my Mac Pro is running Mac OS 10.12.6 Sierra, so can I install and run this library, AS LONG AS I don't open the store? Also, my Mac isn't connected to the internet so would I be able to download onto another internet-connected machine, then install onto my Mac? Thanks!

    The best trombones i ever heard in a library ! Insane ! But to be honest, the low Brass in Albion 3 is also really great, very big, nasty and gritty ! Most people forget this by all these comparisons.

    Just so you know, if you hold down Shift + Option (on mac) and then click the midi routing, you can reassign all the midi channel outputs all at the same time. No need to delete and recreate tracks. I do this a lot because when you disable tracks and then reenable them in cubase, the routing gets messed up a lot. It's just an easy way to fix the problem you have at the start of the video.

    Orchestral Tools just sound the best to me, the most convincing sound libraries I've heard are in the videos that feature those patches... personally. Metropolis Ark 1 - 4 and this and all their other stuff must be a joy to work with.

    I had a session open over night. In the morning my computer rebooted. The crashdown was occurred by that library for some reason, the protocol said. I also run 10.12.6. This issue needs to be fixed right away, that's a no-go.

      Berlin Brass more for classical music, or in other words for regular section sizes. Berlin Brass is also capable of divisi. You have every section divided. JXL Brass is more for cinematic sound, but has also a delicate side as you can hear.

    Every serial number you get to download a library or any thing is unique. Meaning, dont worry if you accidentally show them becouse they can only be used one time by one IP adress😉

    But its great that it takes all your bandwith. A lot of servers are super slow. U r bit unlucky to be on Cubase. For a V1.0 the SIne Player is not that bad. I am sure guys will iron out the bugs. The samples are not fixable but the crashes are.

    Not that impressed with the library, plus the move to their own player, like Spitfire has recently done with some libraries is a worry. Having been around for a while I have seen a number of samplers and sample players either get dropped or have little to no further development. Like it or not Kontakt is the industry sampler/player standard, which has constantly been improved over the years. The problem of companies introducing their sampler/player is they can find they cannot compete with libraries, which are made for Kontakt, because of its maturity and constant updates. Then the company decides their player is no longer a selling point and the return on time invested in it can find it gets dropped. The user is left with money tied up in libraries, with a player that eventually dates or is not supported in operating system updates.

    • @jensloetzsch
      @jensloetzsch 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you about the thing that Kontakt is really good and i love my Spitfire libraries with Kontakt but the SINE Player looks really nice and have a bunch of very helpful and practical features. The GUI looks really well in my opinion, modern but also very practical and easy. I think this is the first player that can keep up with Kontakt, maybe it's better when Orchestral Tools fixed the first bugs.

    • @Alchemetica
      @Alchemetica 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jensloetzsch
      I agree there is nothing wrong with the clean GUI and ease of understanding the functions of Spitfire's player. However, my real concern is the longevity of the software and does that mean there will now be the need for Kontakt and "SINE" for their products. Will there be a to pay for "Pro" version of SINE in the future. Currently, the cost of the player is part of the product price, unless it is a loss leader. As for my "Not that impressed..." comment, I could have worded as - Good; but not overwhelming as some of their libraries.

    Although I like the majority of your vids, you're getting a bit childish and annoying... It's no secret that you, let's say, dislike Spitfire Audio. But let's not forget that you were using a slow harddisk, not a SSD, as you are with this. So it's only logical it's loading as quick as it did. No need to make the comparison with SA at that tone and at that point...

    • @OriginalOrigins
      @OriginalOrigins 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The difference between loading on an ssd and a hdd are HUGE! Like night and day

    • @sachamht
      @sachamht 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a 7200 rpm HDD and an SSD for my librairies, and I don't find the loading times really that different between the two, it's quicker in ssd for sure, but not night and day, other stuff comes into play like your cpu and ram, and in the end what matters is if your cpu can handle all of that for playback, however it's TRUE that kontakt libraries load faster than east west play, spitfire or orchestral tools ones
