In this vlog, I document my last few days living in Beijing, China, taking my friends to my favorite hidden cafes, shops, and restaurants. I reflect on my time here, trying to navigate life and career choices as a twenty something, building my own cookie company and creating a community around it, and finding closure to a city I’ll always call home❤️

This has made me feel like there's nothing wrong with moving in with our parents when things toughen up 😢. I still live with my dad after losing my mom last year since I was born and am 24😅. I am trying to figure out life without mum because she was my best friend and hopefully I will try to make her proud
I used to live in Beijing from 2016-2022 and wow this video made me cry. Girl, most of the places you go in this video I used to go to weekly/monthly. Wow I miss it so so much! Beijing really has some beautiful and lovely spots ❤

This was so aesthetic and a delight to watch. The places you visited not just in this video but in general made me see Beijing, and China, as a place that could suit me.
I loved the cassette tape shop which reminded me of the ones I frequented after school when I was just a primary schooler in China when they were targeting university students. They also reminded me of my parents' younger selves. It's nice to be grounded to one's roots after being an immigrant for over quarter of a century.

Are you traveling to Thailand? Not sure if the last shots were among the trips you took or more like a teaser to your next trip! As I Thai, I wish you a great time in Thailand if you are going there! We have a visa-free policy with China now. Hope you get to use it. 😊
Btw, not sure how strict you are with being a vegetarian but our food usually contains fish sauce, which is obviously non-veg. Try asking the the shops this: "Mee nam-pra mai?" (Mee = have; nam-pra = fish sauce; mai = or not) FYI, "mai" is just like "ma" in Chinese that is put at the end to ask a question.

It was sad for me to know that you're leaving Beijing again, just like when I saw my favourite cafe in Wudaokou closing down yesterday. After watching your channel for years, I can tell how hard it is to say goodbye to this city. But sometimes, leaving might be the best option. Let's look forward to what's ahead.
