welcome to my $220 apartment in china✨in this *very realistic*, unfiltered apartment tour of my tiny two bedroom in guangzhou, china, I share way too many details of my personal life, show you what it's like to walk through an underwear street on my way home (it'll make sense at 00:48), how I make peace with constant noise from a school, and deal with bugs...yes. enter with caution if you are scared of 🪳.
we see way too many tours of ~aesthetic~ apartments costing thousands of dollars in NYC that make us hate the life we actually live, but I want to hopefully show you that it's possible to make your place aesthetic(ish), cozy, and comfortable even if you are on a budget🌱
(it's great if the $$$ NYC apartments inspire you to chase your dreams, and for people who've worked hard to afford them to enjoy them - don't get me wrong. power to all the dreamers and go getters out there💪 but we are all allowed to just love the imperfect, messy lives and apartments we have - and make them aesthetic-ish if you feel up for it)

I loved this video and the fact that you don’t try to conceal anything! This is sooo relatable, I live in Costa Rica, houses are not always new or fantastic and you have to make it work. To get rid of the roaches use food grade diatomaceous earth, it's a powder. Place it everywhere, on the cabinets, corners, where the roaches may roam. It won't poison your cat. I've used it on my home for years and I own cats too. Btw, love your channel! ❤

guangzhou is full of wonders! it was a crazy experience to get to live in a place like that. I loved all the little plants growing on random buildings, on the side of the street, and the mix of colonial architecture and traditional cantonese buildings with so much character...

imo it does - even just as a placebo. I used to buy them but my one is actually just lavender oil + water in a spray bottle😂I just shake it before spraying it on my pillow and it feels the same with the fancy ones🤫

Very interesting Apartment tour, Evelyn! For me as a German Chinese Apartments are always a little bit strange. Bars outside the Windows (what are they good for?) or living so close with smoking neighbors that you can smell their cigarettes ... I like very much the way you present your VLogs! you know I've always wondered about the bars too...and I really feel like smocking in the hall ways is a public health hazard, but, we deal with that life offers us the best we can, I'm grateful to have been able to experience a city/neighborhood very different from where I grew up✨
Ive been thinking of living in china, im 18 living in Algeria right now and it’s very intimidating to go outside of my comfort zone and do what I truly want. Ngl im worried about money and all but, I feel that living in china will give me a lot of opportunities for my art animation career!
