    What I have noticed is that you get alot thirstier taking it before training.

    How much extra water would you need to drink during a loading period to avoid cramps as Creatine directs water to the muscle cells and does the supplement work the same on cardio exercise such as cycling

      In general, you may need to increase your water intake by about 0.5 to 1 liter. Please be aware that creatine monohydrate supplementation does not produce muscle cramps. Importantly, ensure that you stay well-hydrated throughout the day, not only when taking creatine. It's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider or a sports nutritionist to determine the most suitable approach based on your specific requirements, goals, and exercise routine.
