- HIGH HANDICAP ILLEGAL STRAIGHT FLYING GOLF BALL MATCH!! We have all seen the reviews of the Polara straight flying golf balls which you can buy from amazon. and we have even see people such as myself test them, Rick Shiels test them in his "This Golf Ball Only Fly's Straight" video and even Golf Vlogs UK Golfmates test them. but we have never seen a high handicap golfer test them? do they really only fly straight? well Myself and foxy have a score to settle. our last match ended up all square. so I've given him 3 of these illegal golf balls to see if they can help a high handicap golfer beat a golf pro... lets do it... and lets do it now!

Should the forward press with your hands with your irons at address be the same distance from your wedge to your 6 iron or is it more with wedges vs long irons. Great videos👍🏌🏼

What happens with these balls when on the fringe of the green with a chip and run with a 7 or wedge ? Also when you don’t pick and line up on the fairway and it pointing the wrong way

You need to try the XD version, play straighter but the dip is less so also get good distance.

I used these when they first game out and THEY DO fly straighter. Problem is they also dip DOWN. Definitely also affects your distance negatively.
Where did you find these? I have been looking for them everywhere! I think it would be fun to mess around with them

Interesting thing about beginner golfers: zero touch with the putter. After some time, they can hit it, and hit it well, but it’s bizarre how long it takes them to develop some touch with the putter.

I understand Foxy was given that putting stance as a learning tool for balance but honestly don’t you think he’d be better off now with a conventional posture ? That stance is killing him at the moment!
And I thought my shots were bad but compared to Fox.

I’m all for this type of non conforming equipment for recreational play (which actually accounts for over 95% of rounds played). If we want to grow the game and get more of this next generation into playing golf we need to make entry into the game easier and more attractive. As a teacher I see the attention span of my students getting smaller and smaller, this, coupled with how smartphones have given them everything instantaneously is not a good recipe for a sport like golf that requires a lot of work and attention to improve.
Summed it up at the end James...…...…...… "WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY" Foxy is a lot better than those 3 holes played........

These balls will help people with slices and hooks but not so much with swing plane.
It’s club face that’s generally the problem. But totally agree. They don’t help curvature
I think things like this are a hindrance rather than help. It may aid you to start but to improve you’ve gotta know what your doing wrong an these will mask that. Lessons an practice is a better way to improve( and TH-cam vids)

He hit the ball in the air twice, hard to gauge what it was doing for him.this ball would be better for a mid handicapper messing with his buddies, maybe one that has a problem off the tee but is ok on his second shot.

I have challenge. Are you familiar with a.....Bounce ball......those kids play with. Solid rubber. Many diff kinds. Can you bang one with a driver.....maybe it goes 500yds.

Wish you had a shot tracker. I mean this video was all about the ball flight but it didn't show one visible flight path. Just sayin
Might give someone a bit of confidence if they are really hooking or slicing the ball but I'd be working on my face to path. Foxy, see if you can find someone to give you a lesson.
I really think you need to rethink Foxy's putting stance. I know he had the lesson with your buddy and he seemed to put better that way at that time, but I don't see it as a long term solution. From a physiological standpoint as his muscles get more flexible and adapt to his swing with the driver and irons it causes him to have more movement ability through the core which is causing him to try to adjust with his arms. Please James do a putting lesson with him and get his feet parallel and teach him the proper method to swing as a unit with his upper body. Right before he is ready to swing, have him retract his scapulas just a slight bit. That will help lock the shoulders with the arms and make it more difficult to free swing the arms, giving him a fluid upper body movement for the putt. I am sure his putting will improve. I know he has better putting in there. Just needs to find it. And that stance is not it.
Need to work on that putting stance because that’s one thing that’s obvious to see.
IMO I think Foxy is straitening his trail leg too much during his backswing causing his downswing to be out of sink- it’s really awkward.

Mr. Fox needs to talk to his instructor/teacher. Losing 50-60 balls in a round? Holy Cow. That's 2-3 balls per hole. Either his clubs are bent......... or there is a short between the headsets. Just sayin.

Foxy's putting touch is not good. I don't have any thoughts on how to help him there, except maybe to practice putting without a club, i.e. using hands and feet, or some sort of other implement. Seriously, needs to develop a feel for it.

That stance is not helping Foxy’s putting at all James. Completely unbalanced. The sooner you convince him to abandon it, the better
Stance changed around 4 weeks ago back to a regular stance, it was filmed quite a while ago this, it helped me just to keep my lower body “quiet” 👍🏼
James Fox - has the putting improved since changing back? I got the putting yips a few years back and once had 53 putts in a round. That was the moment I decided something had to change. I worked on it, now average 36 putts a round. Not that special, but compared to where I was it was a massive improvement. Definitely the biggest factor in getting my HCP down from 23 to 13.4 currently. Good luck, keep striving. Wish you well for the race to Dubai mate (if it happens)
