- ILLEGAL STRAIGHT FLYING GOLF BALL + 515cc ILLEGAL DRIVER = MADNESS - you may have seen already on my channel the reviews of some crazy golf clubs, such as the 515cc juggernaught driver, the zero degreee lofted iron, the 11 wood, plus many more. you may have also seen the illegal golf ball that only flies straight, reviewed by Rick Shiels and SAS golf... so what happens if you combine an illegal golf ball, with an illegal driver? lets find out... and lets do It now!

Good to see you hitting the Cobra F9 Speedzone. I just got a new driver myself. 2019 Cobra F9 model....on Ebay for a steal....I waited for the new 2020 Speedzone's came out. It appears brand new, no marks or scuffs on it. $202.
“Illegal” is a bit strong a term for golf. The usga doesn’t exactly have the authority to arrest anyone do they?

Me, and 3 of my golf mate's, played in a 4 person scramble in the mid 1990's where illegal balls were given out all the competitors to play with in the Tournament. We could use them on tee shots though...regulation balls had to played on all the other shots. The balls were as advertised...they were crazy long! I know I drove several of the shorter Par 4's...350-375 yards long...with ease. My best friend....a scratch golfer hit a 2 iron to about 15 feet on a 310 yard Par 4! The ball was crazy long...and actually made the Par 5's all reachable in two shots.
In the end...the winning score was close under 50 stroke's...46 or 47. Our score was a 49....23 under par. Still have the score card in my stuff some where.
I wouldn't mind trying one of those "straight " just for fun....it might be pretty cool to play with them!

Played the Polara today on the last hole aimed down the left for a little fade and the darn thing went strait no fade right into fairway bunker!!!🐊🏌️♂️⛳🇺🇸🤪

Found one of these polara balls in the rough. Played it a few holes. Didn't perform better than my usual Wilson pro staff. Even more critical the polara doesn't fly as far as the Nitro distance ball. The polara sells for $35 dozen. The Nitro sells for $10 dozen.

Would love to see Foxy play with your straight "Balls". Er, let me refraise that.🤣 Would love to see Foxy hit these balls on the course and see what his reaction is. Curious to see if he did not have to worry about direction so much if he would relax during his swing and get better contact? Might be a teaching aide you could incorporate into your lessons James. Kind of like a tip I heard from Jack Nickolas years ago to hit a bunch of solid plastic whiffle practice balls and since they dont go anywhere you quit trying to kill it and just swing smooth, then hit a real ball with that same smooth swing and watch it fly. Worked for me.

Nice to see some of the back 9 at Huddersfield GC. Great golf course, loved it last year & will definitely be back this year & bring the lads. Hopefully get an aim point lesson as well if you’re about.
I tried the Maxfli Straightfli just for fun, and oh man it was so bad. The flight was low and it moved all around in the air and went maybe 100 yards. It did land in the fairway but would roll into the rough anyway. I knew they were a gimmick but they were far worse than I expected.
Hi James, I was really surprised to see the mark of the ball (Polara). Because 2 months ago I came to use one, and I was surprised that the times I knocked, it was a kind of zig zag (left-right) quickly and repeatedly while flying, and in the end it fell abruptly, but always straight.
A partner told me that this ball was illegal and I didn't believe it, but then I lost it with a hook between some bushes, I really liked it and I wish I could have more Polaras

How about a 3 hole/3 ball challenge? Play a Par 3, 4, and 5 with the Polora, your TM TP5, and a your pick of a mid-price two piece ball. Using your own clubs, play the 3 balls tee to green, par 12 for each ball, best score wins.

I"m seventy yrs. old so my balls stay low and fade to the right. Anything you can do to help alleviate this vexing problem would be appreciated. Sooooooo, do I win the ball straightener technology, or must I go on living this way James? By the way, my shaft isn't as long as it used to be, so I could use some help there as well. Why not throw in that illegal big dog and help an old guy out?

By the way, the illegal balls are not weighted asymmetrically. It's all about the aerodynamics of the dimples. The pattern is different on the circumstance of the arrows from the "poles" of the balls spin.
Balls . Test them with the Cobra against your usual PRO v1 to give an accurate comparison
On the TP5's. If you use the TP5 logo to line up shot. I find it helps the shot go straighter.

Put the illegally straight ball up against an illegally long ball to see which gives you and an 18 handicapper (me? 😉) the most benefit.
I have chs 108 but can miss by 100 yards with a bad one.

Hi what happens if you tee off and you don’t line the ball the direction your going ? Or if you aim it with the arrow pointing towards yourself? Does it affect results

Balls. I think you should have mark and foxy using the ball and clubs over a 3 hole match while you use your normal kit
You don’t need to worry about placing the polara on the fairway on shorter holes as you don’t slice short irons but I’m pretty sure the polara is for weekend hackers that just want to enjoy a hit without spending all day looking in the bushes for their ball.

I would love to know how to get the shot tracking you used it could help with practicing
Use the straight balls on gc quad and find out how far you hit them with your sand wedge and then set the pin that far out and see how many "straight balls" it takes to hole out! 🤙😜

You would think the straight ball would help a beginner or intermediate player a lot more then a good or great player. I normally shoot from 96 to 110 depending on the course, I've ordered a box and we will see if I can get in the low 90's maybe even high 80's :).
