    Spread the word! The Philippines is now open to all travelers without testing requirements. 🫶✈
    📢Foreign Tourists: If you don't have a return/onward ticket, you can rent one from Onwardticket.com: onwardticket.com/jennifer
    I hope this helps! 😄

    Just want to say thank you with information you provided in 2022. may our trip to the Philippines much easier.
    We went right thru customs as I needed a wheelchair and the transfer from terminal one to two was very easy as the person pushing the wheelchair took right to the transfer point from one and there was a wheelchair waiting for us at two and after clearing security took us right to our gate to finish our last leg to Lagazpi.
    Thank you once again for the tips and advice to make our trip a smooth one. Hope to return this December

    You were (unknowingly) a key part of the love story between my wife and I. She is Filipina and I’m American. We were supposed to get married in summer 2020 in the Philippines, and I bought my ticket there in early February 2020. We all know what happened next, with Covid lockdowns and all. But your channel was a source of information and hope for us. When foreigners weee allowed in (finally) and I booked my ticket for May 2022, you kept me up to date and ensured my entry was as smooth as possible. This news broke the day I left for Hawaii, and it is good news! Looking forward to returning to the Philippines this December with zero restrictions!

    Very informative Jennifer. Interestingly, we were not asked to present our e travel QR code when we entered the Philippines a few wks ago. I even asked the immigration officer. 🤔. Well, to say the least, it was a smooth entry for us. No e travel and I declare (declaration) asked.

    • @Xilikon
      @Xilikon ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When I travelled in May 2023, they did ask to present but they just glanced and let us pass quickly without validating the QR code. It was still mandatory to fly and enter the airport with a mask at this but I landed without any mask and entered. Nobody ever stopped me the whole time at arrival, immigration and exiting. It's as if they are already tired of the COVID measures and can't wait to return to normal.

    Good day mam Jen! The question on e travel re health declaration is quite crazy. Who is person in his right mind will answer yes that they got sick 30 days prior to travel? If the purpose of BOI is to digitize the travel records of an individual they must limit the questions in the manual form being used before. Another thing if the purpose is monitoring the tourist travelers must fill up in the the same qr code document s upon return to the country

    Jennifer - what "date" do you put on e-travel - is it the date of arrival in the Philippines?

    Finally…it was SO frustrating when I flew to the Philippines in April. While you are waiting in line to board the plane, they suddenly announce that masks are mandatory! Thankfully someone in line had an extra…

    Good to know as I'm heading there again in late September from canada. I was there October last year and didn't have any problems as I'm fully vaccinated but it will make the airport experience a little easier

    Jennifer, we all know everyone is just going to put no on whether or not they have been sick or not. Why? because it's just easier so they won't have to deal with all the extra hassle.

    I think it’s wise to be careful still, and prepare as if the restrictions are still in place, since we know it takes time before this has been introduced everywhere and people know about it.
    I would still bring masks and vaccination papers

    Yeah you're right, it's definitely been a journey. I've been watching you since October of 2021. Ever since travel was permitted back to the Philippines in early 2022 I've been back there three times and I'm about ready to go back a fourth time in September. Now let's hope the ticket prices we'll go back down. In most cases they have more than doubled in price. Prior to the pandemic I was paying less than $600 usd for round trip flights Chicago to Cebu using China Eastern airlines. Since the reopening of travel, my three flights have costed me $1,000 or more each
