    Hey, just wondering if you knew where I could get better clutch plates ate because I have a custome bike I have built and it is a running a 140cc engine but its hella modified. So I have to restrict the power alot or it will slip the clutch in third!

    Hey also man my camshaft seems really tight I can't turn it by hand.
    Also I'm having a tough time getting the sprocket back on the camshaft it's like the chain is just a little too short

      Noah Podgurski yes the chain is very very tight you will prob need to use a screwdriver to help lever the sprocket on the cam then spin it to get the bolts started

    My pitbike rund kind of good when its cold but when it gets hot it idle hogher and higher by it self. Its not the carburator! Can it be the headgasket?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually a bad head gasket will run worse as it gets hot. When it runs good when it’s cold do you have the choke on? To me it sounds like a carb issue

      Tittan1500 i think i just found the problem! Between the top end and the intake manifold there is a gasket that was cut... just ordered a new gasket😝

    Hey im doing this on a 110cc. I dont have a torque wrench, is it okay if i just tighten it with a normal 3/8 ratchet?

    • @superepicproportions
      @superepicproportions 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also im pretty sure you fucked up your timing

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Noah Podgurski the timing was fine all marks lined up and it ran great.
      I would borrow a torque wrench from someone Or get a cheap beam one at the parts store.
      These head bolts are long and flexible and strip or brake easy. The head gasket torque is one of the most critical on the engine.
      Can you guess and have it work with a ratchet sure but it could just spit the head gasket or mess up a stud

      tittan1500 oh yeah i didnt finish watching the video when i posted that. I watched another video, the guy marked the chain and crank with marker b4 he tookit off

      Noah Podgurski right that’s a possibility assuming the motor does not get turned. The method in this video is the by the book proper method

      tittan1500 yeah the little tube inside turned, i have to turn that back as well as line up the crankshaft with the gear correct?

    Is that water cooled??

  • @radlifestyle8509
    @radlifestyle8509 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you drain the oil first?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      RAD Lifestyle you could do it before or after

    • @radlifestyle8509
      @radlifestyle8509 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      tittan1500 doesn't it leak when you disconnect the oil cooler? Or take of the covers?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      RAD Lifestyle the oil drains down to the pan. No major amount is left in the heads after shutdown. Some will come out of the cooler but that won’t change if you drain the oil

    • @radlifestyle8509
      @radlifestyle8509 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      tittan1500 okay good to know because I need to remove the top end because one of the bolts from the exhaust mount broke and needs to be filled in and tapped again

    • @shaunmarrero178
      @shaunmarrero178 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't need to drain the oil.. just don't tip the motor forward...
