    The Ripmo AF, YT Capra AL LTD and Commencal Meta AM 29 are some of the best spec'd and priced rigs, regardless of frame material. Really nice to see these options which are amazing bikes for beginners or seasoned riders alike and still look damn good.

    Love the review. I still prefer a quality Alum frame with a really nice component spec. Performance value per dollar on this one appears to be way up there!
    Also, I LOVE east Tennessee. So many fantastic trail options.

    Hey the video was great I’ve washed several times. The orange one was a large the gray one was X large. Wondering how tall you guys were in your thoughts on the sizes. I’m 61 would normally go with an XL because I have a longer torso. I did sit on an Xlarge one in the parking lot The other day. It felt OK but I’m still thinking of X large. Wondering about your Heights And thoughts on the bikes sizes.

    Wow! Thanks heaps for this awesome review. I will check out your more detailed reviews too. I only just bought a Hardtail the TREK Roscoe 7 2 months ago and I have been riding 3 to 4 times a week and am absolutely loving it. As a result of my childlike excitement I am already considering getting a second bike lol. Not sure if it's the right decision or not yet but I reckon this bike would be perfect! What are your thoughts on this bike for a pretty novice rider getting their first FS bike? I known you did say that it would suit beginners and experienced riders but I was just curious to know if there was any more specific advice you or anyone else reading this, could possibly offer? Thanks in advance! And thanks again for sharing this amazing review! Cheers!

      Nathan Libot Check the written review for the weight of the XL in stock form. We only rode them with the ONZA tires so can’t really compare on this particular bike, but generally both brands are good. We’ve been impressed with Onza’s grippy compound and ability to hold air for a really long time in a tubeless set up.

    • @kurtmccann137
      @kurtmccann137 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trailladymtb7700 I like it. It feels indestructible. It pedals really well and you can go long distances without feeling like you are spent. I actually bought the Orbea Occam H20 for my wife and I think it is much funner (and lighter) on flatter trails than the Ripmo AF. I haven't had a chance yet to take the Ripmo AF on steeper trails where I'm sure it will be great. I have a YT and I really don't think they are comfortable bikes they are meant to be fast and progressive. I have never ridden a Jeffsy though. I did have a horst link bike before and I think they are very predictable and neutral but it didn't pedal as well.

    • @BikeRumor

      Surprising well for a long travel bike. The tight switchback climbs were a good test of that, and it nailed them. I was actually lying close attention to exactly that, because other bikes in the category can have a bit of flop on slow, right turns, but it wasn’t a problem here.
