I went there in 2007 and hated it. I stayed at a rental apartment place where the other tenants sat in the courtyard and drank all day. I rented there thinking it was a quiet accomodation. I went to the beach and did my walking/ exploring. But those drunks were always there. The owner did nothing to corrale the drinking.
I left before my rental was up and never went back.

Beach Haven is a very small community. Only black tourists and vacationers and idlers mar the idyllic oceanside picture.
