I grew up with the Monmouth beaches as our playground. All those unguarded party beaches along the strip from Sea Bright/Brothers beach to West End party beach it was a blast.
We went to Wildwood for over 30 years but as good restaurants either closed or went down in quality and rowdy drunk teenagers have been going to much cleaner quieter Ocean City MD two weeks
Which beach towns are your favorites is very subject. But you made some very helpful comments that most people never mention in these type of videos. And I'm speaking as someone who lives full time at the South Jersey Shore. Nice video, and thanks for sharing.
Wildwood had a nice what 20 football field long beach. Can remember back in the early 1960:s the water would come up past the boardwalk at 20th Street. Now takes 15 minutes to walk from the boardwalk to the ocean. So far away you can not hear the ocean.
In my opinion since I have been to all these places at varying decades. The Jersey shore has been in decline for decades .People are more sophisticated now and demand more than greasy pizza joints and T shirt shops. Its big problem is it has become to expensive for what you get. Its cheaper to go on a cruise ship or go to South Florida whete you can injoy the sun ans fun all year round. The Jersey shore towns are all from a bygone era and well they are just yesteryear's news.
Unfortunately, traffic nightmares getting to and fro from the Shore (and other desirable places like LONG ISLAND) have relegated many to not even attempt to go anymore….What’s the point if you are going to spend a thousand or so bucks for 2 or 3 days to try and relax when the aggravation of traveling to these places make your last good nerves twist into knots !?
OK, pretty good video, I guess. But totally MIS-NAMED. I mean, I didn't see a single wave, drop of water or even a grain of sand in the entire production. Much less any depiction of a "beach". There wasn't even any mention of the beach, itself. Sure, the video depicted some really good "beach towns". But the "beaches" were absolutely left out of the video, as if they weren't really part of it. So, next time....show and talk about the actual best beaches. Thanks.
Cape May is fine if you're 60 or up. Boring as hell. The beach is fine. Ocean City is ok but this is not a good list. Bradley Beach is the best in all of Jersey. Nice n clean which is most of njs beaches. But thing about BB is that the city itself is nice quaint. There's several good restaurants ranging from a bit pricey but top quality to some places to get good cheeseteaks and pizza. The train station is there if you're coming from NYC say, and there's a small theatre. In addition it's right next to Ocean Grove and Asbury Park. OG is very nice with old houses that have actual windows walk lots of stained glass windows and a nice main st with art galleries restaurants it's very nice. Asbury Park is more commercial there's a boardwalk with attractions many great bars with good live music a beautiful old theatre that gets national acts and lots of fun. All 3 towns right next to each other one loud n fun and 2 others different but fun as well
South focused. There are some great beaches in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Yes thank you!

@@samanthab1923 Ocean Grove ..Spring Lake…Sea Girt. Love Monmouth county’s beaches.
@@jillferrier8715 Yup, as I got older friends bought homes in Spring Lake & Sea Girt so that became our daily beach.
They are all polluted.
Great coverage. Thank you!
I do love Ocean City and Wildwood; but I only go to Stone Harbor when I'm at Avalon ❤
We went to Wildwood for over 30 years but as good restaurants either closed or went down in quality and rowdy drunk teenagers have been going to much cleaner quieter Ocean City MD two weeks
CHILDwood
LBI should be on the list.
Spent 30 years there. ❤❤

Great video
Wildwood as the best...? What about LBI??

Ortley was a great place in 1968😃
The shore was different then. A blue-collar paradise.
Next video do Delaware Maryland beaches!’
Ah yes! I will most certainly do Delaware next.
No love for LBI ?
I would've bumped Wildwood to 3, Cape May 2, and LBI 1st
Wildwood is great but you stayed too far south. What about Bradley Beach (aka Bagel Beach)?

You should do a video north of brigantine. A lot of very nice beach towns are up there as well.
Love the Annoucer's Voice.
What about Bringatine, Avalon and Ventnor? You only mentioned Bringatine but didn't show it.
I agree that Wildwood is the best. So much to do there. I think Avalon is better than Stone harbor. Parking is free!

Ocean City and *Wildwood are my favorite so. Jersey Shore!
I grew up going to Asbury park, *Seaside heights, and Belmar.
Ocean City,.Wildwood, Cape May
Seaside Heights is my number one pick then Wildwood
The two worst towns on the shore
Wildwood Crest beach is the best hands down.. But Town wise Ocean City is the best!
Spring Lake NJ in beautiful, we love it.
My favorite is Ocean City, NJ 🙌
Solid choice!
Illegal gambling
Never mind I was thinking of Atlantic City
Its Wildwood for me my happy place

Clearly this person is from Philly…..strong accent. All beaches are in Cape May County. He ignores the rest of the shore.
Sea Isle is the best place to go before starting the program
The BEST is Brigantine.
I'm glad we did make the list. It's nice, quiet, down right boring. Just the way most of us like it😅
Oops. I meant to say NOT make the list.

Wildwood >>>
But I’m going to try Ocean City for the first time
Beaches, not towns.
Atlantic City used to be great before the casinos.
This listing is ludicrous.
SOUUTH FLORIDA puts all of these to shame.
Gunnison is the best beach in NJ.
This guy really doesn’t like Atlantic City
Atlantic city is a dump and so are the majority of the other Jersey shore towns.
These are not the best spots
he's not from NJ clearly
they are are old and from a bygone era. I will stick to Florida's beaches, much better in every way.
definitely is if you are over 50 ❤❤❤ but I’ve been driving there since 20 yrs old - I have always loved Cape May, Stone Harbor and Avalon no riff raff
@@andrekellogg8859more for me then yay!!!
Ok Florida 😂
Pretty clear you have no idea what you are talking about!
Wrong
I agree very wrong!
Sea Isle City is boring
Sea Isle city. EXTREMELY CONGESTED. spinnaker terrible.
Cape May is definitely for seniors but there's cookies Huntington house which is an outstanding place to eat
Stone Harbor is the most boring beach in New Jersey
Nice
