2 strokes will always win, Apart from commuting for reasons you mentioned lol.. As for sports vs supermoto. I'd say try against 2 stroke Aprilia RS but that Husky isn't really in same league as it's a race bike with low weight compared to a road bike.
I like how you're really unbiased in this video. 4-strokes will always win for commuting and heavy use (don't want something that could break down at any time). But 2-strokes are built for pure fun, and are way more fun to ride (until they don't work)
I love the sound and performance of the 2 stroke, but i bought a 125 4t because there ain't no way i'm spending this much on gas and rebuilds, and the bike ofc.
I'm 53 years old, in my opinion 2 strokes are the best, if you ever get the chance try a 80-90's 500 cc two stroke, but you better hold on when it hits it's powerband.

it's pretty obvious that the 4 stroke will lose since a 2 stroke makes about 35hp not throttled (not sure if that's how you call it) and a 4 stroke (legally) does only about 15hp
im trying to decide if i sould go with a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke , but the thing is that i dont have the money to drive a 2 stroke so i will prob get a 4 stroke 125
@@Yungspeedy it is fairly reliable for a 2-stroke yeah. And has an igntion lock as well. A lot of 2-strokes don't, so they are super easy and common to steal. Even ice moto doesn't like to ride his bike to school because he basically has no way to lock it.
In my opinion it would be more fair to compare something like a aprilia sx125 4t with your bike since they’re both supermotos and they got identical purpose for example sport bikes are made to go fast while supermotos are made for wheelies etc. 2 stroke wins
Obviously the yamaha is made for people with A1 license or whatever it is called in your country. For A1 you cant go higher than 125cc but also not have more power than 0,1KW/Kg. The comparison would make sense if the 2 Stroke bike also had 0,1Kw/Kg

But sport againt supermoto is your own opinion do you want to do stunting or just want to be fast that is the difference
@@frplevy True altho in this case I reckon the supermoto feels faster as 2 stroke power delivery is different then 4 stroke.
I had an rs and got a husky tc now the husky accelerates a lot faster on the road compared to the Aprilia

Better use the app speedometer for 4-stroke. Dashboard is not accurate.
Why is the dashboard not correct??

just get a yamaha dt 125, pretty durable engine

for me looks, sound and power 2stroke wins but 4stroke is better bcs u need to spend less money on repair and new parts :D
