watching them live at the ground on Friday night it was very obvious, as a Swans fan i was tempted to yell out to the Bombers mids to stop bombing it long!
As an Essendon supporter that has had to watch this crap all year (and the past 20 yrs lol), it has been utterly infuriating thing to see everyone in the back six be defensive liabilities. McGrath not bad when he bothers to defend, but he has games where he refuses to anyway. Hard watch, and Scott thinks they’re doing a ‘good’ job. Sheesh
@Gorilla_warfare what he says in front of the cameras isn't what he really thinks. McGrath needs to be put in the forward line and told to make as many tackles as possible. Maybe then he can harden up!

Tippa had everyone in fear of being chased down... not just his speed, but his hunger and ability to stick tackles. Honestly, I'd love to be proven wrong. I love this team as much as the next supporter.

There's a fair few I'd point to before McGrath, but it'll take some time to phase some of them out. But if you think McGrath needs to give more then I respect that, we all just want to see us improve.
Stringer should've been dragged for his. fter he kicked it to no one, Merrett was still on his own. Essendon has a lot of selfish individuals, and I don't care if Stringer goes elsewhere.
I don't think Barrass is ACTUALLY fourth worst but there's also no way he's worth two first round picks. Then again, Ben McKay earns nearly a million bucks a season and he's a fkng spud in ¾ of games. I saw someone saying the other day that Barrass is in the same sort of company at the Eagles as Glenn Jakovic and Darren Glass and nearly choked on my drink!

Amartey plays like a basketballer with very little physical presence, and McLean is as slow as a wet week and gets pushed under the ball too often and out marked often. McDonald is also very overrated. None of them crash packs or have any mongrel in them. Swans need some harder players across the field, especially big blokes (Tom McCartin being the exception. He should be Captain for mine) …
