Braga the Cimmerian is such an itnresting character. Seeing his ghost all around the exiles lands alongside his partner until his partner died was sad to read. The harlot left me empty. I was so excited and invested. Freya and Dina look cool in the Highlands, Janos Liam as well as Varpnir! And in single player there’s Avatar of Mitra who’s virtually indestructible but not the best fighter he gets his ass kicked by NPCs easily lol
I’m thrilled that her character was given this treatment as a well earned companion! There’s so many named characters on the map that could be turned into companions like this too, and I’m excited to see where FC takes this!
Needs a buff to be on par with Liu Fei. I also wish they'd kept the Archer theme. Good Archer Thralls are hard to find compared to Fighters, and assuming that Conan will become a Companion at a later chapter, they're missing the opportunity to have a Fighter/Archer/Sorcerer trio.
A buff is most definitely needed for sure. I don't think we'll ever get Conan as a companion though, he just doesn't seem the type that would need our help, nor would he repay us by essentially being our sidekick

They're still very strong, I just tested them again and they deal a lot of damage at level 30ish, enough to probably 4 shot you. That being said, the serpentman boss and human enemies at the forge itself are despawned for Freya's quest, so you only have to clear the serpentmen around her, you can run away from the others enough to drop aggro
This one likes everything about the Freya quest (other than the bugs). But the rewards... Poop. While this one personally uses Shortswords... Freya herself is a Strength focus character. Also her stats... Did they just leave her as is and give her unique perks? Liu Chad the Swollomancer blows her out of the water. Both as a follower and his reward. At least his spoiler can be used on whatever gear you care, while Freya's Shortsword is only Shortswords. Good quest, manky rewards.
8 hours plus 8 hours plus 8 hours and... i completely forgot about her. This was totally annoying and all this to get a weak worthless thrall. During that quest i found Hekkr in a cage in a nordheimer camp, now that he's at level 20 he has about 6000 heath points and can face any boss alone with a good armor and a star metal short sword, he's just almost immortal. So after this, getting back to Freya and her 8 hours fuc.. waiting time was out of question! Who thaught that it would be a good idea, for someone who doesn't play every day it can take 2-3 weeks to complete that quest. This is not an awfull grind but an awfull soporific chore.
I think she definitely needs a buff, Liu Fei shouldn't be stronger than her, but I was pretty happy with the questline as a whole aside from the sometimes excessive timegating. I definitely didn't feel underwhelmed myself, but her performance as a thrall doesn't exactly exceed my expectations either, I would say I'm just "whelmed", if you will 😂
@@Eradicati0nn questline for what reward? it is a game we take actions to be rewarded, in the case of freja, as she is presented in the beta, it is not worth the effort, like the wild hunt of aow4 or the new stuff of aow4-delay. The problem is that CE is still stuck with all the managenent errors made half a decade ago, and the morons managing the studio, still can not accept them and move on, only bringing in more junior stuff to tell them yes sir.
I think Freya could definitely do with a buff, Liu Fei is statistically much higher. I think the timegate between New Asagarth and Nordhof could be entirely removed in this quest too, shave off 8 hours and it would help the narrative in that section I think
@@Eradicati0nn Waiting for funcom to make the change. LiuFei it's much better that's rigth. Even so I think it should be a little better since it is not a conventional thrall that you can have in 1 hour. I understand that you had to wait 8 hours after the first dialogue
It's the same experience across single player and online, the timer ticks down even if you're offline with your device shut down, it's real-time and not in-game time
The Companion version of Freya is a fighter I believe, and the devs confirmed that old instances of Freya will remain, they won't get removed or anything, but they also won't have Freya's VA or perks. As far as I know, the thrall version of Freya doesn't spawn anymore and is replaced by the companion though, so the thrall is essentially discontinued
Dina is pretty much a carbon copy of Freya. They're both T4 Archer Thralls with guaranteed spawn points in the Highlands, with the exact same stats and appearance. That's probably the reason Freya is being converted into a Companion. She's always been the more popular of the two for being slightly easier to find (Dina wanders a little bit), so she's getting the special treatment, while at the same time they're keeping the old version in the game.

Did you go there on the regular game? The update is still in beta so she'll just be a regular hostile thrall on the regular game until the release in October

I'm a big fan of the archer Duneman; he has a 100% spawn location.
Better then the stats of the Relic Hunter archers... WTF did they ruin them again?

Have they fixed the human enemies at the Volcanic Forge? They were broken last time that I was there and could two shot you.

Why is she not wearing the armor in the image of the age of heroes that has her with Lu Fei and Conan.
excluding the "orgy" option, everything else was underwhelming about the freya... only wasted VA :(

You can use admin console cheats to avoid this 8h. Take a look at Waks videos for that, he shows the cheats in it.
I have a question. Before this update, Freya was a Thrall Archer. What happens to the Freya that you get as Thrall once this update comes out.

I think i found a bug. I went to go start her quest and when i got there she attacked me. There were also other npc's there who also attacked me.
