btw, if you have a warranty don’t tune it, i worked at subaru and they blow up if you mess with them at all, stock suspension is really good but you can switch to fortune autos if you want adjustable suspension that’s decent but i prefer stock it’s smooth and handles good, switch to light weight 18’s or 17’s if it can fit over the calipers and get more tire instead of wheel, get all season grippy tires (Michelin) go with rays/volks (super expensive) but it’s so light that it reduces rotating mass and makes the car handle 20x better and hits bumps better, almost completely removes the need for suspension and then get the camber set up nice with a good alignment and DO NOT use lowering springs, will ruin the cars ride quality, after that you’ll be fine and all set, eventually you can buy a built motor or go full build once warranty expires switch to a front mount intercooler and add brake vents where you have the sti cover 👍🏼

really no tune? I have one and was planning on it but this has maybe changed my mind. Can you explain better why not to tune it? I understand it has a (fragile) motor but ive had multiple people tell me a tune wouldnt hurt it.
@@takyio4446 the fa20 motors can handle a tune but the ej motors grenade themselves, what happens is it has a really bad oil system, porsche has a dry sump and some other stuff that creates a vacuum chamber basically because the flat engine pull engine downward so if it’s not pressurized oil pools in the bottom of the cylinder head and over time the build up will mess up the engine and grenade, by tuning it you’re basically playing with a ticking time bomb and speeding up the rate at which it goes, so if i were you i’d buy an air oil separator a better dry sump system and lots of preventive mods and parts before doing something like that, keep in warranty as long as possible, yes power is nice but having a running car is better, lmk if you need anything else from me

Get something other than TE's. Of course nice wheels but they're too run-of-the-mill, especially for these cars. Get a set of WedSports or other type of Volk wheel, man 🤣
Always see them on builds too. Idk it was the first thing that came to me when talking about wheel options 😂 looking into rays wheels for the future tho fsfs
