That Narnia leatherbound is incredible, a shame that they no longer sell them.

I totally agreed with you about Andersen's book cover.

Wow! Beautiful books for sure! Definitely more beautiful then Guild Publishing books (CS Lewis/Lewis Carroll ) I read in the 90's... in fact... my Guild Publishing books don't have ANY pictures/painting in those old books 🥺😭...😂

Thank you! I've never heard of Guild Publishing. It's always nice when publishers go the extra mile, though I think I'd take a book with no illustrations over one with bad illustrations haha

That Narnia book is rare and expensive these days. I need to search out those Fairy tale books. Those look nice. I only have the Jurassic Park edition from B&N

The fairy tale editions I have are both out of print, but you should be able to find them pretty easily online.

How good is the quality of the editions? I am interested in particular in Arabian Nights, but I read somewhere else it has many misspellings. Did you read it? Is the English easy to understand? There many critics to Burton's style.

The quality of the editions is good for the price. The bonded leather and sewn binding in particular will make them last much longer than a paperback. However, they have some drawbacks compared to more expensive hardback editions (e.g. Folio Society). I can't comment on the translation in Arabian Nights. My husband just pulled these books out of storage, so I haven't had a chance to read it yet!
