NEW Patch 1.6.0 is out! Niflheim 4th dlc (free) & Sigrblot festival is making a comeback same quests new rewards and hopefully more opals for free again like last time.
Title update 1.6.0 will be deployed on all supported platforms tomorrow, August 2, 2022, at 12 pm UTC/GMT, 2 pm CET, 8 am EDT, 5 am PDT, and 10 pm AEST

Nice! Just what I need to get through this. Find it kind of grindy like the mastery challenges but hey, it’s free. Worth it just for the armor
also for the experience for sure, didn't mind this dlc at all and like said free is free so can't complain about that ppl play it or they don't no money lost

After so many rooms I managed to get to hel but ofc no healing, how it's supposed to fight a boss with no HP... I don't understand how Ubisoft thinks.
Rogue-lite + luck, more runs you complete stronger you will get by upgrading the skill tree

Crazy seeing you get stuck in tne dragon, what a bug! Lol. I thought the arrow stuck in Odins hand i had was a pest, you win with ur crazy bug.
I used mostly same techniques as you. I always use the axe throw for crowd control and its lightning for Hel boss.
Id also add that when the dragon flies up and uses the poison beam, just stand directly underneath him and he cant hit you. Also i start running across the field as soon as i kill the 3rd foot, by the time he moves and lands for the neck section you will be at him before he attacks so just stand right at his neck as far as u can go - that way he cant hit you and your ready to attack the neck when possible. I also use upgraded powder incendiary trap to get double explosions on the dragons feet to speed things up with fire damage.
I am mostly done with forgotten saga now. Just got the last trophy tonight, and finished filling out the skill tree. Im at 5 deaths, 4 wins, and all i have left is farming to finish upgrading all the armours.
Im still amazed you maxed it all out so quick. This was such a fun dlc. Im loving seeing all the videos youtubers like you are posting, its great having the gamer community collectively unravel forgotten sagas mysteries together.
great addition for the Nidhogg battle mate cheers, i died 4 times or so and won 8 times, yeah i know i screwed up the dragon battle the bug was huge demotivation for me,

Yea it must have been super frustrating, it takes ages to get to that point in the game so losing all that health on a bug is heartbreaking. You did well to recover and still beat him. Its a shame u didnt have jotun dive ability, i reckon it might have got u out.

@@julesb7783 i think i did a speedrun using that one, after cutting the huge loading screens was able to beat everything in under 30mins, will leave a link for you in few moments

@@Skatha haha if they only listen . I just finished defeating hell in druagr armor . Weirdy for me I think druagr armor was the best . Gives more coins plus discounts as a favor you can buy everything from the merchants . With druagr armor you heal less makes the playthrough intense .
True first 3 runs i used drauger set as well
Have you used that legendary 2 handed sword the green one. I am planning to use that . I have used gungnir til now and gungnir is OP

After dying from Muspel fire and getting Raven armor on my first run the idea of sniping them from afar was the first in my mind. Cheesy, but saves a lot of frustration. Archer has problems activating sword in the stone, though. That werewolf decimated me on the second run. You still need a good melee weapon and I had really bad selection of those. Got Dwarven Defender though, so things should be easier now.
Defender armor and being a elite of the snipers almost felt like cheating 🤔😜 almost 😂😂😂
@@Skatha So I did it, on the third run😁 Got Defender armor (without last upgrade), flaming short sword, fire trap and electric axes ability and tons of elemental damage runes. Or, and perfect dodge. Fire trap and flaming sword just erased the dragon and Hel. Still didn't find druid merchant and chest there, missing draugr set.
Overall I liked this mode, probably cause I like Valhalla combat. It gives new abilities and weapons which are fun to use. Bosses were quite cool too. The only thing I miss was an opportunity to change armor, at least once per area, cause you stuck to it for the whole run, would prefer more flexibility.
Now I want these cool upgraded abilities forr Eivor, dammit😁
U found the chest in nidheim? So pretty much the merchant is underneath that chest if that makes sense

Dwarven armor the revival charm the keep sake charm and legendary weapon charm is all you need
for those who are just starting, festival broke the game for many so some havent even had the chance to play yet because their games keep crashing but you are right that a great combo

I'm getting into playing this mode for the Armor.
Are the skills I unlocked permanent? Like I have them activated on my next run?
Skill tree that you upgrade will be permanently active, abilities and weapons are reseted but you can buy back 1 of each

Can you complete this saga or is it just like a never ending quest? Does the quest stay in your log permanently?
Last time i checked i had the quest gone, that should happen when you do all 4 areas and get that 1-time cutscene 👍

Max you can get from get go is 150 after that looting the health chests and /or getting lucky with the drinks
How many runs did it take you to get all of those armor sets?
Depends how far each run takes you, more you can complete more rewarding it will be

Just remember to buy back weapon and skill after every try and also fill the skill tree
You make it look too easy. I've tried ten or so times and can't get past the first stage.
Took a lot od runs as well to make it like this, alos im not happy with the third boss battle that was not motivational at all at the time but instead of showing perfect run wanted to show the fact everything can happen 😅 trust me dying is good in this mode makes you stronger 💪
Played three times, the boss didn’t appear either of those times… How the fuck doesn’t it seem like anyone else has this issue 😖
Just the last boss or any of them? Making sure game is updated, loading previous save before you went into Niflheim may fix it, also reinstalling the game may help
@@Skatha Realised it was just my game that was bugging out 😆 All was good today! Got through everything until Nidhogg, had me at 5 hp and then he decided to wake up again 😂😂😂

Should i be able to get 100 percent completion of the game even if i did not do this dlc?
Platinum trophy only concerns the main campaign so technically dlcs are optional
But absolute 100% of the game and it dlcs require the post launch content to be 100% as well
