Dahomey kingdom was a prolific slave trading kingdom. Many of the people in Haiti today are descendants of the Dahomey kingdom. Oyo kingdom in contemporary Nigeria a slave trading kingdom prolific slave traders. The woloof people in senegambian region prolific slave traders. The Senegalese scholar Dr. Ibrahima Dhioub a professor at Shaikh Anta Diop University in Dakkar, Senegal. He specializes in the history of the senegambian region. He spoke of the woloof prolific slave trading with the Portuguese and French . There are statues all throughout West Africa celebrating slave traders . Another book I would recommend daughters of the trade.
