Met Bruno’s dad on the concourse at Chelsea away. Had 30/40 people trying to get photos with him and had his wife pulling his arm the other way 😂 they did nothing but smile and were extremely polite. Seem like genuinely nice people 🖤🤍
Met him at city this year honestly nicest guy you’d ever meet just doesn’t stop smiling and never says no to a photo

I met Bruno’s dad in the terrace bar at the stadium he was jumping about with us singing we’ve got Bruno in the middle. U could see the emotion in his face when we were all singing for his son. The guy is living the dream as a dad there’s nothing I’d want more for my son than to pull in the black and white shirt and play at st James. Such a genuine bloke

I really hope that Bruno and family make Newcastle their home forever. Wonderful people. It's easy to be selfish as a fan & want the best players. But it's better to have decent, passionate, hard working people at the club. And Bruno is the epitome of that. He's part of a core of players here who will make the club and the area proud.

It does seem we have the nicest bunch of players and manager of any football club anywhere. They are all great ambassadors for the city and the region. It's also brilliant that the club release these videos for us. Thanks.

This family loves the geordie people and we love him back, we’ll be forever grateful for the faith he showed in our club when he could’ve chosen clubs in a lot higher position, I hope he spoke to Nobby Solano, Shearer, Ginola, Given all of the past players and found out that if you love our club and give your all, you’ll never been forgotten and always be worshipped ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️

Bumped into Bruno’s parents just walking around Gosforth. I didn’t stop and bother them but we just said hi to each other as we walked past, they were so polite and you can really tell they feel at home here. What a great family to have on Tyneside

Great family, you can just tell, made of steel and probably part of the reason Bruno had the courage to join us at the bottom of the league and talk of champions league way before we even thought it was a chance.

@@toonman1892 I am giving him a chance. Unfortunately with our injuries we need him to adjust quicker than maybe originally planned. Im not complaining about him. I understand and he himself has said it’s been hard. I can’t imagine what it’s like to leave the club you wanted to play for your whole life to another country and club. I just think if he adapts to love the club, the city, the people in the same way as Bruno has we cold have a world class player on our hands. His game against villa was pristine. Then he’s been a bit on off

hearing him saying maybe matteo will be a newcastle player in the future 😍 if thats in his head, if hes thinking of his kids growing up in newcastle and coming up through the newcastle academy...hes going nowhere for a long long time, and at the moment at least would be happy to spend the rest of his career here. Thats incredible, and I'd love for that happen.

He is still a young man who needs to be shown love in good times as well as the tough times. He will flourish at the club even more than he has but we as fans need to remember he is still young. Sometimes he is seen as getting frustrated on the pitch as well as off. Hopefully with the amazing work of Howe this will be worked on and he will be able to channel those raw emotions better.
