A class act, holds himself exceptionally well and that is the product of his early life at Sporting CP he mentioned here, shaking hands with people properly, making your own bed every morning and not playing no matter what if you've done something wrong.
The way he also didn't badmouth, but instead praised, every manager he's worked with at Spurs, and Daniel Levy, is refreshing. No doubt he would have had frustration, but he didn't air any dirty laundry at all.
Will be interesting to see if he goes into coaching/management after he's done playing.

Perhaps they saw the personality he is . But that’s a flawed approach. Every time I listen to an Eric Dier interview , he will never fail to impress me by his maturity and he should be a very intelligent chap . BUT as a Center back , if Spurs wants to progress , Ange is correct , Dier is just not good enough . He did ok at Bayern but nothing more . Now he is in Bayern first team , Dier is telling everyone he deserve an England slot . No , still not good enough . He could be a very good coach in the future though .
Also in the Amazon documentary, it seems to me Mourinho is looking for leaders in the Spurs team and 2 names came out ; Dier and Sissoko ! You can see how Mourinho approach his team building but that’s not the way I see as necessary good

Dyer is one intelligent man, he has a professional mindset, he s disciplined and if he put a tackle in you know you have been stopped, he can do a serious job for any team he plays for, including england, they cannot all be like stones, Lanzared.
