    Mix in this order:
    1/4 cup soap / 2 TBSP baking soda / 7 drops alcohol / 2 cups water /1/4 cup vinegar.
Just used 2 batches to clean an engine and my shop floor after a bad oil leak from a missing gasket after repairs.
Worked great, and my grandson said my shop smelled nice.
    Bonus.

I use petrol ( gas ) and a little paint brush if I don’t have shop degreaser
It usually melts old oily crap that builds up around engines and gearbox’s
    It really does work 👍👍👍👍
But don’t smoke 🚭 while ur using this method
It can be a little dangerous 🔥🔥🔥
    Great video. Nice guy.

The reason there's a chemical reaction is because one is acidic the other is alkaline. You're neutralising both. Baking soda is commonly used for neutralising acid spills. None of the Engine Degreaser products I've come across include any of the ingredients you're using. Most use a mix of solvents and advanced surfactants.

Thanks for the comments. The ingredients in this formula are not my own, they were found online, I just made the video on my attempt to use it. It works, I can't say it's better or worse than other degreaser. I'd like to find more recipe's and give them a shot for comparison, I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Lmao! Then they wouldn't be here! They would be buying expensive garbage! 2$ for vinger, the same bottle for advanced rust remover 40$ and it didn't work good at all really!

wrap a plastic bagn tape around your distributor and alternator before taking a pressure washer to it. maybe if you hit it with a hose for an extended amount of time as well

Heck yea. This was meant to show you just what the degreaser alone does. If you want it really clean, you need to do more than spray and rinse.

So what do you think? Do you have a favorite degreaser or home made degreaser recipe? How'd this stuff do compared to your experience? Thanks for watching!

I know oven cleaner is used for intake and exhaust manifold cleaning. It literally eats the caked up carbon deposits.

Cool vid. I use WD40 on the electrics and heavy grease, then I put 50/50 dawn dish soap and water I a spray bottle. Then attach the hose to the water heater drain and spray the motor down.
You engine will never be cleaner and it will still run! I will run you a little more, but worth it
