If you put it in a 0.75 speed the song sounds perfect 👌
Shore's movie score has become as iconic as the Star Wars themes. As a long time Tolkien fan, (since my twenties, I am now 76) I continue to be amazed at the continued popularity of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The Danish Symphony Orchestra is great as is the overall productions I have seen on TH-cam.
There are lord of the rings concerts being performed in various countries around the world annually. Can’t say the same for Star Wars music. I think as far as music goes, lord the rings is way more iconic.
@@plumeria66 I agree.
@@plumeria66Star Wars music is more instantly recognizable, though. But I still think LotR music is the best.
@@plumeria66 I'd say Star Wars is more iconic and recognizable. But as a movie score and how it actually tells the story alongside the visuals, the music from LOTR is far superior.
Play at 0.75x for maximum nostalgia ❤
Why does it sound so fast paced... I like it slow 🙌
They’re definitely rushing not dragging lol
this is "concerning hobbits" not "the shire"
@@clon1122 it is a pinch faster than the film's version tho
I noticed that from the start.
@@clon1122 still the pace is faster.
What an amazing concert that was !!! The problem is that when you watch it and also when you just listen to the soundtrack, all you want to do is watch the movies one more time 😊.
Aah, the memories. Of the movie and of this concert, both. When Frodo and Gandalf roll into The Shire with this soundtrack... Movie magic forever, right there.
*sees the video was posted a few minutes ago*
A wizard is never late..
He arrives precisely when he means to
You are technically late if you saw it a few minutes after it got uploaded 😂
A wonderful soundtrack. For all times perfect.
A beautiful live version, as always with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra!
They are so used to that. And us too
I have seen The Danish National Symphony Orchestra 7 times live :-)
I believe them to be the world best orchestra to cover songs.
I would love to see them once, on my bucket list
@@rollotomassi6232 Me too, but it would be a very long swim :(
I want to see their cover songs concert live....Do you have any idea when are they going to play again ?
@itsmark I hope it was worth the wait.
@@badral4k This August!
I want to touch the hands of the creator of this music and bless her all the joy and long long happy life thought my whole ❤heart . 🎉
He's a dude named Howard Shore
...blancas costas, un país lejano y verde a la luz de un amanecer...🧙♂️
I love the little Easter egg at 00:50.
i for a split second was wondering why we were zooming on on her chest.... then saw why and laughed
@@Tater- There's also another lady with cute little elven ears.
Leveza, candura, luz, inocência, pureza, altivez, música surreal!!
I’ve been looking for this my whole life
Beautiful elven maiden on the violin! 😯
If you are refering to the beautifull blond girl who plays the violin - her name is Monika and I used to play violin with her when she was 8 and I was 12. Even at that age she was so talented, more so than me. Very few people can make a carrier out of classical music in Denmark, but she is that talented.
@@mathildejensen3285 I'm 100% certain that you are incredibly talented on the violin!
@@mathildejensen3285 yes! That incredibly beautiful blonde lady (and she is a true lady, no doubt about it!).
A fantastic orchestra!!!!
I'm not late to this, because ''a Wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to''
absolutely beautyfull
I was waiting for this since Fantasymphony album came out on Spotify.....Thank you!!!🤗🤗🤗
what a brilliant composer Howard Shore is. Lovely. Thank you for uploading it. MORE MORE MORE :D
AMAZING
Impossível não se emocionar! A obra que toca a alma 😍

Flawless!
Beautiful!
Magnificent!
outstanding
İt is wonderful
Wow.
“They’re taking the Hobbits to Isengard!”
"Gard gard gard gard"
Great idea for their next performance.
But does one simply walk there?
Fajnie zagrane, ale z prędkością x 0.90 brzmi tak jak trzeba!
AMEI💓
Bravo! 👍
Waiting for the The Rings of Power soundtrack. The best orchestra in the world! Grettings from Brazil ❤❤
Do the camera operators study the score prior to filming? I'm always blown away by how great they are at capturing the instruments while they're being featured in the music.
I think they do. They must prepare a script but I think they end up with a lot of rushes as well.
Same question here. Their work is incredible.
That, or they capture all instruments and they're edited together post-production OR there's a guy switching between the cameras while the cameras themselves film their given instrument the whole time.
They have 5 cameras covering the stage, so it's fairly easy to piece together shots covering the correct people. Souce: I was there.
Dunno what they do, but the camera people and editors deserve a round of applause, too!!
Nice!
Woa woa woa
👏👏👏
Can somebody tell me what's that speaker icon on screen at the beginning of the video??....
The piano 🥰😇🎹
Here it's a clavecin
@@JohnSmith-bj3ng I thought it was a harpsichord?
@@deathbycheese850 you're right, clavecin is the french word for harpsichord
Bro just called a harpsichord a "piano"
Dear lord she's got elf ears. So cool.

Kids like fireworks 🎆
Very nice, but too fast. Really makes a difference.
Gonna watch "making of" again...
What tin whistle is that?
Ohh early :)
Oh mein Gott! Imagine performe "Khazad-Dum" or "The Land of the shadows"
Meget flot
Watch in .75x speed
I came more faster than Gollum to the ring
🥹
well played but the tempo is too fast
That’s true
Set the speed to 80 percent and it will be perfect (with minor sound distortion, haha). They simply took it too fast, for my taste, at least. Great playing as always, though!
Whoever was the camera man should be fired. Totally missed the 2 violin solos!!
To fast
Good, but too fast.
unfortunately way too fast a pace..
not the best performance but not bad
It's way too fast.
not my favorite version of this song - too fast, feels rushed.
Why are they in such a hurry, do they have to catch the last bus or something? Again, wrong flute, no hardanger fiddle, and there is no accordeon in the original. It's a bit like watching Rings of Power, the story is there, but it's told different somehow.
The quickened pace is annoying. Normally this orchestra is spot on, so it was a bit disappointing.
Yuck didn't liked it
To fast
