This is one of my favorite themes from the LOTR movies. I'm not exactly sure why, but, it is. This beautiful collaboration did not disappoint me. Tears in my eyes because it made me so happy to hear. Wonderful, wonderful job from the both of you.

Dude, you look more like an elf than the entire cast of that god awful Ring of Power series. I mean it, you do look elvish.
I don't know why people have so much energy behind hating it. And honestly the way it looks and the way the characters look isn't its primary issue. the issue is that it has no emotional pacing
@@Velereonics The way that the characters look is a huge ass issue. None of them looks or feels like an elf and it's damn awful.
It's a parody of Tolkien.
@@janmajer4662 what makes a person look or feel like an elf though? I get that all the other elfs are white and I don't think people are racist if they think that the elves should be white because they're basically Scandinavians as far as allegory goes, but I just feel like you need a better reason than that to say they don't look like elves.
I think galadriel looks like an elf. I think the King guy is probably the least elfish looking just cuz he's not hot to me.
@@Velereonics Yeah exactly, first off they need to be hot. Not just regular pretty but etherealy beautiful, tall and slim with long, flowing straight hair. Angelic.
As far as I have seen, not one of the show male "elves" have these qualities, maybe apart from being slim. Some of the nameless elves would do with long hair.
Secondly, they need to act like elves. Calm, graceful and ethereal in demeanor.
Let's take Galadriel as an example here. While she looks well as an elf, her demeanor is closer to an angry teenage human girl, with quite laughable line delivery and her face bursting with weird mimics of a chimpanzee.
Nothing against the actress, but in terms of acting, she isn't worthy of even licking the boots of Cate Blanchet.
Ironically enough, the only actor who actually feels like an elf is the black one, Arondir.
All the others feel like ordinary humans with pointy ears.
@@janmajer4662 @janmajer4662 I think the whole elves are super calm thing is something that the original movies give people a false impression of because even in the silmarillion there are angry elves, and thranduil is an angry elf. I mean we're seeing them way before, galadriel obviously will not be the same person as before. they just saw their paradise get fucked up and a bunch of them died and they're upset.
It kind of wouldn't make sense for like galadriel to just be Cape blanchett for thousands of years no matter what happens you know? And elves were and are even in the movies kind of pretentious, some of them look down on everyone but there isn't necessarily a justification for that. galadriel in the show has some of that where she cannot understand why people won't just give her what she wants because they're just stupid humans and she's immortal and thousands of years old.
galadriel particularly I tend to defend because it's like she can't just be the same person like over all this stuff that happens to her. her whole thing is like that she is arrogant and that's why when she goes demon mode on frodo but then she like restrains herself, she acts like it's a good thing like she's happy about that because she didn't think that she would actually be able to reject the ring because it's just instant power which is what she wants.
so we're seeing like the young version of her where she is pretentious and overconfident.
I teared up at the first few notes. Happy tears. Because this story has so many memories tied to it. Happy and sad. And I remember how much this story helped me in difficult times. Thank you for this wonderful rendition.
