I used DHL but I don't think it depends on the transport company, probably if the declared value exceeds a certain number you pay the tax... Maybe next time I'll try to mark the product as another category of goods or i try not to declare the value... maybe it's just a matter of luck! For now I'm keeping the box sealed... but I don't know how long I can resist hahaha

Resellers here in France already started selling these BB for 170-180€.. so even if Tenso charges me 40€ for shipping, that's still going to be half the price of the resellers here..
@@jmilz08 I only paid the importation VAT in France which is 20% of the total. The price will vary according to different countries. Some will also have custom fees so it's best to check your country's law before ordering.
Made to order doesnt do much in a market like this. Every address can get like 1 box, well you can guess they will open it themselves or keep it. So I believe this set will keep rising. Made to order for a Japanese market is just way to little knowing half the world jumps on it.
I agree, since most people want more then 1 box, this will not do a ton to help people chasing whole sets or chase cards, but it will help those that just like 1 box, reducing a lot extra demand. Still, if you want more then 1 box, you're gonna pay double or more for it.
This seems helpful. My only concern now is if the shipping companies supply notifications and tracking numbers for the packages. Also if 151 is being made to order why enter a lottery if its limit 1 box per person?
When a place like tenso ships, you choose who they ship with and if there's tracking; so you can pick DHL with tracking. As for 151, it's not a lottery, it's made to order, you are just signing up to buy 1 box.

Thanks for the guide! I had the problem that my English name was too long for the pokecentre (Tenso everything worked without problems). But since kana is the official script in Japan, the name written out in katakana should be sufficient. I'll keep you posted. at the same time, I wrote an email to Tenso and pointed out that I had to abbreviate my first name to English.
I think it will work out, because they will use your tenso number in the building line first, and then your name second, so I would want the name as close as possible, but I think a couple characters difference likely wont matter. But getting it all perfect by talking with them, is definitely the safest bet.
Ya, sorry, it actually ended while I was working on the video and didn't realize it. Sorry about that mistake! Still can get Pokemon Card 151 though, and future stuff.

Hmm, I haven't heard anyone say they can't convert it, only that it wouldn't fit and more steps are needed. I outlined those in the pinned post. As for the 151 booster box, it ended at 2AM ET today, so it's done, sorry.

FYI, Gamestop in-store only are accepting (while supplies last) starting Friday, 16th of June preorders for the UPC 151 (max of 4) at $5 per preorder. The $5 is refundable, but it will count towards the MSRP charge of $119.99 per UPC. In addition, on October 6th (For Gamestop) you can go in-store to buy your preorders you reserve and either pay cash or use your card. They will hold your reservation starting the 6th for 48 hours. Hope this info helps. Smart move by GS to not advertise this on their site as you must make your reservation in person. Don't pay scalper prices! Cop the W! Good luck all! LFG!

Thanks! Pokemon Center will tell you when it ships. Tenso will tell you when it arrives. All by email. The site says these will ship between Sept and Dec, so it could be awhile.
Things get really tough to follow once you copy and past the ward. It shows you pasting “Adachi Ward” but in the next frame it says “Adachi Ku”. Also, you go from copying things in English up until you start copying your address in which you switch to copying the rest of the form in Japanese. You’re switching the pages back and forth too quickly to understand what you are doing at this point in the video as well. Also, when you are copying the address, you already have the information filled in with the English information provided by the English translated Tenso page (the information was not input just a couple frames before) and then you delete it and replace it with the address information provided by the Japanese Tenso page. Just very confusing to get through these steps.

@@PokemonFamClub Insanely quick, first order was 5 master ball holos, was fairly cheap about 40 bucks. YuYuTei ships for free to your Tenso address. Tenso had it within 2 days, and shipped out the same day I paid the fees to have it sent to the US. Costed another $19 and I had it via DHL 3 days after it left, First order took 6 days in total to get to me. Second order was for 14 SR / SAR / AR cards, just over 100 for the cards, but the shipping will be roughly the same since tenso charges by weight and size, size will never really change unless you order a ton of singles, just weight. This order processed even quicker and is already on its way to me, ordered it 2 days ago
Whenever i fill out all the info on the Pokémon center Japan and press confirm to proceed it just clears everything and says all the fields are required

@@ArtiVisualIntelligence When making the video I just put "Pokemon Club" as my fake Tenso account name. Because that is so short, it would work on Pokemon Center in both Names. I redid all the steps today to try and make it clearer and then recalled what I did with my real account, which was the two step conversion. If you can fit whatever is on Row A in the Halfwidth character spot, you're good to go. If you can't, then I recommend the conversion process.

Has anyone had experience winning the lotteries using tenso? as 2 tenso accounts can technically have the same address only difference being the account number, I've heard people say pokemon center automatically block tenso entries.

Yes, the shipping date is going to be between Sept and Dec, depending on supply and demand. Unfortunately, getting it at this price is going to take some time. The original sale happened awhile ago, and there are japanese distributors that have the product, plus on friday it hit store shelves at pokemon centers, and shops, so it's easily in peoples hands already. This waiting period is for the wave 2 made to order release.

You can try your English name in the first box on Pokemon Center if it fits. If it doesn't fit, follow the simplified steps I put in the Pinned post and hopefully that clears it up!

Hello! Thank you for this guide. One question, for the Ward, I notice on yours it shows “Adachi Ward” on part but yours turns to Adachi-ku. Does that matter? Mine shows Adachi Ward in all spots.
Sorry, i was converting back and forth to try and capture the footage. I put a pinned post that has a simplified step by step process. Adachi Ward, Adachi-ku and the japanese spellings will all work though.
You might need to make sure your bank allows international purchases. Also if it's a debit card, those won't work. You might need to call the number on the back of the card and talk to them, and see why it's getting declined.
The made to order period for 151 ended. There's currently no open lotteries or made to order request. No sets are available for sale on the site, they all sell out these days. At some point they'll have more lotteries and more made to order periods for future sets.

@@jmilz08 I only paid the importation VAT in France which is 20% of the total. The price will vary according to different countries. Some will also have custom fees so it's best to check your country's law before ordering.

Made to order doesnt do much in a market like this. Every address can get like 1 box, well you can guess they will open it themselves or keep it. So I believe this set will keep rising. Made to order for a Japanese market is just way to little knowing half the world jumps on it.
I agree, since most people want more then 1 box, this will not do a ton to help people chasing whole sets or chase cards, but it will help those that just like 1 box, reducing a lot extra demand. Still, if you want more then 1 box, you're gonna pay double or more for it.
This seems helpful. My only concern now is if the shipping companies supply notifications and tracking numbers for the packages. Also if 151 is being made to order why enter a lottery if its limit 1 box per person?
When a place like tenso ships, you choose who they ship with and if there's tracking; so you can pick DHL with tracking. As for 151, it's not a lottery, it's made to order, you are just signing up to buy 1 box.

Thanks for the guide! I had the problem that my English name was too long for the pokecentre (Tenso everything worked without problems). But since kana is the official script in Japan, the name written out in katakana should be sufficient. I'll keep you posted. at the same time, I wrote an email to Tenso and pointed out that I had to abbreviate my first name to English.
I think it will work out, because they will use your tenso number in the building line first, and then your name second, so I would want the name as close as possible, but I think a couple characters difference likely wont matter. But getting it all perfect by talking with them, is definitely the safest bet.

Hmm, I haven't heard anyone say they can't convert it, only that it wouldn't fit and more steps are needed. I outlined those in the pinned post. As for the 151 booster box, it ended at 2AM ET today, so it's done, sorry.

FYI, Gamestop in-store only are accepting (while supplies last) starting Friday, 16th of June preorders for the UPC 151 (max of 4) at $5 per preorder. The $5 is refundable, but it will count towards the MSRP charge of $119.99 per UPC. In addition, on October 6th (For Gamestop) you can go in-store to buy your preorders you reserve and either pay cash or use your card. They will hold your reservation starting the 6th for 48 hours. Hope this info helps.
Smart move by GS to not advertise this on their site as you must make your reservation in person.

Thanks! You can have tenso hold your items for a couple bucks, then they charge you a couple more for every order you add to the first.

Thanks! Pokemon Center will tell you when it ships. Tenso will tell you when it arrives. All by email. The site says these will ship between Sept and Dec, so it could be awhile.

Things get really tough to follow once you copy and past the ward. It shows you pasting “Adachi Ward” but in the next frame it says “Adachi Ku”. Also, you go from copying things in English up until you start copying your address in which you switch to copying the rest of the form in Japanese. You’re switching the pages back and forth too quickly to understand what you are doing at this point in the video as well. Also, when you are copying the address, you already have the information filled in with the English information provided by the English translated Tenso page (the information was not input just a couple frames before) and then you delete it and replace it with the address information provided by the Japanese Tenso page. Just very confusing to get through these steps.
You're right, sorry about that. Seeing the hangups people are having, I could have made some things clearer for sure. I just wrote up below, maybe that will make it simpler and fix some issues people had. If you happen to try this and anything doesn't work, please let me know.
To simplify the Pokemon Center Registration, just use the "full-width character" section of Tenso's How to Enter Your Tenso Address, and copy in Japanese:

@@PokemonFamClub Insanely quick, first order was 5 master ball holos, was fairly cheap about 40 bucks. YuYuTei ships for free to your Tenso address. Tenso had it within 2 days, and shipped out the same day I paid the fees to have it sent to the US. Costed another $19 and I had it via DHL 3 days after it left, First order took 6 days in total to get to me. Second order was for 14 SR / SAR / AR cards, just over 100 for the cards, but the shipping will be roughly the same since tenso charges by weight and size, size will never really change unless you order a ton of singles, just weight. This order processed even quicker and is already on its way to me, ordered it 2 days ago
Worth noting that the first batch of holos I ordered are in flawless condition, perfect centering and truly near mint

Hmm, I am not sure. Could try just your forst and last English name as close as possible. Also, it could be your credit card company is blocking it, so you might have to call them.

@@ArtiVisualIntelligence When making the video I just put "Pokemon Club" as my fake Tenso account name. Because that is so short, it would work on Pokemon Center in both Names. I redid all the steps today to try and make it clearer and then recalled what I did with my real account, which was the two step conversion. If you can fit whatever is on Row A in the Halfwidth character spot, you're good to go. If you can't, then I recommend the conversion process.

It also says "In general, the Package Consolidation Service will utilize the cardboard which originally came with the packages to repackage and consolidate the shipment. Yes, the shipping date is going to be between Sept and Dec, depending on supply and demand. Unfortunately, getting it at this price is going to take some time. The original sale happened awhile ago, and there are japanese distributors that have the product, plus on friday it hit store shelves at pokemon centers, and shops, so it's easily in peoples hands already. This waiting period is for the wave 2 made to order release.

Pokemon Center will likely purge your orders if you try to order 2 ore more for the same address.
Use the Furigana version of your Name on PokemonCenter-Online.com Remove the dashes if you have to. Translate to Furigana here: www.sljfaq.org/cgi/e2k.cgi

Check out the pinned post, but basically you can just use your Kana name there. The employees at tenso will be able to read it.

Sorry, i was converting back and forth to try and capture the footage. I put a pinned post that has a simplified step by step process. Adachi Ward, Adachi-ku and the japanese spellings will all work though.

You might need to make sure your bank allows international purchases. Also if it's a debit card, those won't work. You might need to call the number on the back of the card and talk to them, and see why it's getting declined.

The made to order period for 151 ended. There's currently no open lotteries or made to order request. No sets are available for sale on the site, they all sell out these days. At some point they'll have more lotteries and more made to order periods for future sets.
