The artwork available in this set is crazy. The masterball reverse rare concept is on a different level. I hope they do it in the english version. I cant wait to start ripping this set, first set to make me look into getting my hands on the japanese version boosters to rip.

The artworks in the 151 set are just so artsy! The pokeball reverses, the art rares, and the hand drawn arts, are just are so BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE! As a person who played and collected pokemon since the beginning, this set just gives me so much nostalgia from kanto! I just can’t wait to see the 151 set to drop in english! Thank you heaps for showcasing some of the cards in this set rev!

The nostalgia that hit from this is really hard. The some of the art rare and holo are really awesome. This is one most insane set to ever produce. I love how all the pikachu art are so insanely cute in this. This is really a great set
I loved Nidoking since evolving Nidorino by accident as a kid. I’m happy that Nidoking got the full art treatment since there hasn’t been a card since XY era.
The fact that some of the art rares go together is just insane. They really did their best with this set.

This might be my favourite Pokémon set ever. Not only do some of the cards have incredible art, they don’t even have to be a hit to look good. Really looking forward to this set and seeing all the kanto Pokémon together again. The pull rates look great too

We all thought that crown zenith/Vstar universe was going to be the craziest thing released this year but then they hit us with the 151. I want to complete this set so bad
I legit saw the artwork for zenith and said "this'll be my last set I try to get chase cards from" and now they started with these artworks... they're really tempting me to try to start chasing cards again.
Growlithe has always been a must have in every game I’ve played. I’m just getting back into Pokémon cards with my kids and would love to open this box with them. Can’t wait for it to come to the states.
Already have $15,000 set aside for the English release in September because I refuse to have anything short of a master set with all of the commons/uncommons in reverse holo. Also planning on keeping a LOT of sealed stuff. The original 151 was where I first started collecting from 1995-99 and the fact that this set is coming out shortly after I came back to hobby is a sign that I need to have everything this set has to offer and then some.
Wouldn’t the singles of those be cheaper than $15k?

1. When I complete a master set I want it all to be my own pulls because that's part of the fun AND I know how I treat my cards whereas buying singles you can get any number of dings, scratches, folds, etc. I can also pick the highest quality card of any duplicates to keep in the master set binder.
2. I am not just looking to complete the master set from pulls. I want a lot of sealed product for several reasons.
A. I would like to have one of every product from the set for display.
B. Each of my employees that express interest (most of us are 30-40 and grew up with gen 1) are going to get 6 booster bundles on top of their Christmas bonus. And I'm sure employees with kids who themselves don't have an interest will still want them for Christmas gifts.
C. I'd like to have a case of booster bundles for each of my kids to open when they're old enough so that the original 151 is their first pokemon experience.
D. I think it's going to be a very popular set so I'd love to have a lot of sealed product set aside for giveaways, look-back openings, and charity auctions in the future when the set is harder to get your hands on.
3. It's a special set. I want to make absolutely sure I can complete it before prices get outrageous. Hidden Fates is already becoming more and more expensive to collect. Crown Zenith I still need quite a few cards from and it's getting harder and harder to find big bundles of packs (like 100 at a time), and this set will be similar with the only added advantage being that there will actually be booster bundles of this set meaning you can buy packs without fluff. However, at 25$ per bundle you're talking $150 for a booster box worth of packs so not everyone is going to be able to spring on big openings right away.
Just found your channel - I love watching 151 be opened with so much to look out for! I am waiting very impatiently for two booster boxes I ordered to get here....until then I will continue watching you score all the major hits!!
this is already one of the biggest sets of the year and it hasn’t even come out yet in the english version i can’t wait to get my hands on one of those bad boys 😮💨

This is one of the most amazing sets I have seen. Really brings me back to my childhood! Would love these!!!! My absolute favorite is the Charmandar!

Besides Pikachu, I think my favorite Gen one Pokemon is Dragonite. I loved him in the anime and Dratini was so hard to get in the game it was a big accomplishment to have him on my squad. The memories are precious to me.

I grew up during Generations 4 through 6, so there are some Pokémon from the original 151 that I don’t have a huge attachment to, though I always liked Vaporeon, and recently I’ve been growing really fond of Dragonair, it’s super pretty.
Can't wait for the English set to release take it back to where my love started for pokemon
Dragonite has always been my favorite Pokémon out of all of them not just the first 151. He looks so derpy til he hyperbeams you to outer space.
Same ever since the first movie when I saw Dragonite as a delivery pokemon it became my absolute favorite.

As strange as people find it to be, mine is Tangela. It's such an odd pokemon and the fact that there is an AR card of it in this set makes me extremely happy. It's like going back 25 years, but finally my favourite pokemon is getting the art it deserves.

This is next level nostalgic. Pre ordered mine. Can’t waaaaaait to open it 🤯 my favourite Pokémon back in the day was Mew, charizard, and Machamp😂 lost ALL my cards . I had binders FULL worth SO much . The struggle is real 😂 trying to re-collect the base set again to fulfil the painful void of losing all of them 😂

I’ve been racking my brain to think of what my favorite card was as a kid. I remember playing in tournaments with my first edition charizard. Wish to god I had kept those. I had the entire first case set growing up and played the hell out of them. Just now getting back into collecting with my 7 year olds. We just built their first decks.
I love how Pokemon made this set, it brings back so many memories. Im so excited for it to come out in English!!!!

My favorite 151 Pokémon is definitely Growlithe! As a child, Growlithe has always been my favorite Pokémon in the series and still is today. I think Growlithe should get a secret art rare. The Pokémon reminds me of my childhood.😊

My favorite OG Pokèmon has to be Wigglytuff! I used to sweep the Elite Four with it bc you could use strong TMs on it.
