@stephenyanceyy No, but with diesel, atleast imo, you walk a very fine line of everything being okay, and everything not being okay when you're making alot of power (cylinder pressure and egt's) Unlike a gas engine where more fuel cools the cylinder, it's the complete opposite with diesel. More fuel makes for hotter EGT's. And when you're running these big mechanical pumps etc. You don't really have all the control you would want Ideally, atleast from what I've seen. With gas engines you have the luxury of fuel cut, spark cut etc etc to save the engine. With a diesel, you try to keep the EGT's under control and hope it survives.
I think the best part about your channel is you talk about everything. The ups, the downs, the in between, the challenges along the way. You don’t just post the highlight reel when you win. And anyone that’s raced any length of time will know that race day will always go for shit atleast one time no matter how much you prep. You can have all the best parts, do everything right and still have everything go wrong at the track. And you guys share those experiences. Which I think makes you true racers.

I'm a sled puller but this vid makes me want to run the lights again.........my last time down track was with stock injectors but now have 150% with 12mm cp3 and other goodies but I've never been a fan of the shock load drag racing. Trans is built and convertor got refreshed but I still get hebe geebes thinking about the strip

Got a 95 as well I have seen 54 pounds of boost 400 cc pump 50 over injectors runs rich on bottom I leen it out starts like crap but spools Sooper fast from 1500 man i could really use your help but your along way from Mi. I shur do appreciate what you do. Werk hard and stay positive ✌️👍
Hey, you guys I’m gonna make a suggestion/order I want all of you guys including fire punk any of you shop out there I want you to do more about diverting the exhaust fumes out so you’re not breathing them. That stuff could be causing cancer anyhow I’m on your side, this is in a row Jim from Kennerdell PA
Do you mean when we are inside using the dyno? We have several methods in place, however there is not really a surefire way to completely eliminate fumes coming into the shop because of the wind. We have a 5-foot fan inside that points at the truck/outside, and since this video was filmed we installed a huge fan in the ceiling that points outside. The exhaust is always pointed outside. Plus, depending on the truck, looking at the amount of exhaust leaving is a good way for us to tell what adjustments we may need to make. We do everything we can, and usually only dyno after hours when the only people in the building are the film crew and the owners. We appreciate the concern!
