One of the paid DLC Personas is broken. Here's how broken.
All battles are done with the optimal Izanagi-no-Okami build on New Game Plus. Difficulty is set to Easy. Compendium completion is 99% or 100%. While other battle strategies are quicker (notably the third semester final boss), I generally focus on attacking with InO when possible.
Mementos mission bosses and Palace minibosses won't be shown.

(For anyone wondering about Persona 5 Tactica, InO is not as overpowered in that game. Until you reach level 90 in New Game Plus you can't even fuse it, and while the Picaro variant is DLC it's essentially just a high level Persona. No Myriad Truths, only a large HP+SP recovery at the end of each turn [which is still an easy button; just not an instant win button].)
1) In the 2022 ports DLC Personas are called bonus Personas. Like in the PS4 release, they are available from the beginning and free for the first summon. I recommend not using Izanagi-no-Okami on your initial playthrough if you haven't played Royal before.
2) I apologize for the awful Maruki battle. A more competent attempt is included in the Merciless difficulty video linked in the description and the info card at the start of this video.
3) The blurred text around the 37 minute mark gets rid of an outdated opinion about P3's summoning method. Don't worry about it.
Which Persona you recommend to use on our first playthrough?
@@GriffonTheVoid I don't recommend one specific Persona. Personas you can obtain in one Palace are typically outclassed by the Personas a couple Palaces later. For example, Silky can use an attack that deals light ice damage and is available in the first Palace, but Sui-Ki can deal medium ice damage and is in the third Palace.
Generally, as long as you have a couple Personas that cover the elements your active teammates don't have you'll be fine.
@@Groudon0199 are you recommending to not summon Izanago-no-Okami because they are too OP and would ruin a first-timers playthrough?
@@dekto Correct. Someone commented a couple weeks ago they "lost interest in playing gradually" when using him, and replaying from a fresh save file I can see why. While the starting InO is less OP than what I used in this video, it still insta-kills every standard enemy it at least the first half of the game.

@@jj_grabes Not really. You can get all of the passives using network fusion, and boost the stats by taking advantage of fusion alarms. Doing your social links just makes the process easier.

Concentrate is not used up by skills that don't do damage same with charge also the break skills are considered suport skills meaning that they are not magic attacks. Try reading the skill descriptions a little bit closer.

I love of how not even a cracked Izangi-no-Okami Picaro can beat Maruki easy. They made sure he was the final boss of Royal.
I think the best you can do is take off a 1/4-1/3 of his total health even with his boosts taken to the upmost maximum.
Not really, actually. It's just that the shield tendril needs to be removed first. After that, he's just as one-hittable as all the rest. As it is, I'm pretty sure the only issue most people had with Maruki's final boss was that he was too easy.
Pretty much. I could see it being a problem if you have no idea what you're doing, but with baton passing it's not much of a challenge on even a normal playthrough.

@@filament57 oof, but don't worry about it. Most people who don't take the combat seriously would struggle with unoptimized demons so that's probably what happened to you. If you're like me though, and spend hours at a time building them up to be invincible, it's pretty much a 3-4 turn fight per phase, depending on how hard you try.

The only way that'll happen is if they make a third version of persona 5 after 6, which isn't impossible as seen with persona 3 just very unlikely.
Remember buying some DLCs for Persona 5 out of curiosity,and out of all that DLC,i got this Persona.I used him once,and after Izanagi impressed the hell out of me with his skills,i ended up using him for the rest of the game(i was at a half-point in the game itself).Never did i realize that i just trivialized the better half of the gaqme for myself XDDD
Honestly, once you max out Ryuji's confidant, you basically never have to fight anything again. Cause if you're playing on normal or lower, you are basically garenteed to be about 10 levels higher than the level you're on

InO can skip 1 lavenza phase and this is the first phase, electro build InO with buffs and debuffs deal enough damage in 1 turn to start phase 2

I just started playing Royal after delaying playing it for so many months due to work schedule.
I remembered I struggled a lot in the vanilla version early game.
But I saw I get Izanagi for free and summon it,
I never know I can one shot everything with it lol.
made everything easy for me who cannot really grind! xD
I know this is really friggin late but Lavenza actually does cycle through a few Weaknesses though it's only in the first fase. The elements she will cycle a weakness to are Elec then Ice then Fire and finally Wind. The order is most likely completely random but she does have Weaknesses you can exploit for the first fase
Something that's overlooked I feel is start the battle with a persona with the auto attack buff you could do one with all 3 but the other 2 buffs wouldn't effect your damage

@@hilvystewy7298literally anything that can carry vitality of the tree can be a support I just stick with Attis and then play the whole late game
@@hilvystewy7298 i use rangda for debilitate and charge, fafnir for heat riser and concentrate, and girimekhala with vitality of the tree and thermopylae, this setup turns any persona into a killing machine
I abused tf out of heat riser and the focus passive using normal izanagi. It made me one shot literally everything

Also, the elevator opening sound when Akechi goes to "interrogate" Joker is pretty much the same used by a game called "Street Legal Racing Redline" when you enter the garage or the paint booth.

yoshisune with 30% phys trait forgot the name of the trait

This is kinda just theory crafting off the top of my head, but.
You have 4 turns right.
Joker starts the fight equipped with an auto-mataru yoshitsune, (the other auto-ma’s are optional) with the trait that makes support skills last 2 turns longer.
Yoshitsune automatically concentrates joker at the start of a fight, and the autos basically let you skip the attack buff setup.
Turn one, Joker immediately uses myriad truths.
The only must have party member should be Ann, because she can use High energy, though preferably characters that move after Ann, because they can immediately attack after she uses High energy.
Makoto’s checkmate might be tempting but it’s about as helpful at the def debuff sprays. Though if I had to say.
It should be Ann, Makoto, and, depending of how Imprisoned moljnir stacks with the boost/amp skills, Ryuji.
I believe Ryuji moves before Ann, which is a bit annoying, but he can use that turn 1 to use the def-debuff spray. Or something like a bead chain if you’re short on health.
Basically here’s how it goes.

Joker; MT
Ryuji; Def-debuff
Ann; High Energy
Makoto; Automic flare (or cosmic flare if you have the held item)
Turn 2
Joker; MT
Ryuji; Concentrate Ofunda on joker
Ann; Blazing Hell

Ryuji; anything he wants really but healing, if healing’s an issue. (Wild thunder item is probably the best thing he could attack with here but I’n just assuming that exists.)

Idk if you’d reach 1 hp on adam kadmon, but you’d do a lot of damage, and it’d be cool. Though pointless cause we all know that fights supposed to be unwinable.
Also, I was going off the idea that the jazz club could fix a PT character’s low stats. Ryuji probably doesn’t do that well without better Magic.
All these characters would have boost and amp skills btw.

I would say Akechi is technically a boss. It's a unique fight against a stronger enemy.

i remember a while back playing thru P5R for the first time (alrdy played and beat the original P5) and by the time i got to finishing wakaba with the gunshot, i actually had no rounds left in joker's weapon so i was like wtf when the shot actually worked XD

I just played through my first run and during that I took him out. I used him only once and decided it’s best to put him back.
I greatly question this skill’s existence at times.

You sadly cant apply any form of concentrate/charge if it’s already applied from another source, ie: flow at the start of battle, concentrate from will of the sword/ring of envy, that being said I’m not sure if flow and WoTS/Envy ring can stack tho since it’s able to apply itself regardless of what you have on at the start of battle, there have been times where it seems like it could be also others not 🧐

I used Izanami-no-Okami-Picaro I think starting from Madarames palace.

I’m new to persona so I wanted to ask, how do u have suck high hp and sp so early in the game and how do u have a lvl 99 persona so early as well
Among other bonuses, New Game Plus lets you carry over your team's stat boosts and Persona Compendium from a past playthrough. The more times you replay NG+, the better your starting stats can be.
That said, DLC Personas can be summoned with their starter stats at any point in the game on a fresh playthrough. There's not much point because the higher level Personas use at least half of your starting SP for their magic attacks, but it's possible.

Just a fun little strat i found but if you have a maria(final faith persona) with drain fire you completely wall shido in both forms.
How did you get that persona to max all any tips you can give me rn I’m trying to get 100% gameplay and I’m almost done to get the 100%
Reach rank 8 with the Fortune Confidant, get a Celestial Reading, and grind fusion alarms in whichever Palace is available. Each time, acquire 2 Personas from the Palace (easiest if you're above their levels and unlocked Insta-Kill from the Chariot Confidant), trigger a fusion alarm, fuse the Personas, then use the resulting Persona to strengthen Izanagi or whichever you want to max out.
The Gallows unlock after securing a route to Futaba's Treasure.
I only use Okami when I solo Lavenza....on challenge difficulty. In other cases I just use Lucifer (almighty Satanael is good too but I've already made him a gun build)
I will admit I pussied out by getting izinagi no okami but with okumura for me he was just impossible. Like you're supposed to be 45-46 but I was on 42 and my party were all on 40 wo I had no other choice. It's either forgetting the game or making it atleast a bit easier and I really want to finish p5, (finished okumura last night)

It doesn't really matters is just that InO already comes with angelic grace so why not just leave it there
