People just like you are the reason why ‘classical music’ and baroque music are still thought of as old and stuffy, despite being vibrant, modern, colourful and accepting, which you can clearly see on several pastiche youtube channels such as this one.
The only egregious thing here is your rudeness and utter cheek to comment on ‘contrapuntal errors’ (which dont exist, music in principle cannot have errors, it is just sound) while you have 0 uploads on your channel. Bach would be ashamed to see his face used on the profile picture of someone so unkind. Bach was a good man who famously would break every possible rule.
This has come a LONG way since your work 4 years ago--I'd originally left a comment about getting more familiar with Baroque idioms but you've really nailed it here! There are some places I might do differently, but nothing major--the first couple of measures I feel like stays a LITTLE too long on the same note, just maybe like a beat or so longer than it feels it should before it opens up... something I'm just not getting behind on measure 6 with the approach of the D-C appoggiatura, would maybe rather it wasn't approached by another C that's longer and on a strong beat? The target of appoggiaturas are strongest when you avoid the note, so it maybe feels a little unnecessary because you already landed there? Also, the sequence going from measure 10 into 11 feels like it needs the bass to go down instead of staying on C--very dominant-y lol. I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the piece, but other than those types of minor things, it's great!
