86 OP2 is fire on so many levels. The song and the animation fit each other so well, and the animation does a great job of being very symbolic for the LN readers without outright spoiling what's to come for the anime-only viewers... and the animation itself is so beautiful. That transition between Kurena, Anju, Theo, Raiden, and Shin fighting in their reginleifs is so smooth.
@@Deltrixx_X the manga is still ongoing but they really rushed it with the anime and the ending of the season 2 is a little bit different of the manga, so I don't think that they will make a season 3, sadly 😞

your playlist is not bad actually its just for me 86 op 2 is my 1st, second is takt op, 3rd is blue reflection ray op even though i didn't watch the anime, after watching op in this video its was totally lit so thank you for that i discovered 1 more favorite op
me, seeing 86 op2 in second position (who i would have put number 1): the hell could be better than this? still me, seeing number one: okay, i can agree with that (still prefer kyoukaisen, but because fit more my tastes)
I like 86's one more, mostly because of the emotional impact it gives me, so it's my #1 for sure, but i see how JJK's op is incredible both in animation and music

I agree. It's one of those animes I don't skip the opening and it's very rare considering it's coming from an Isekai which mostly have below average openings
The chorus of the Opening gives off a Hype Feeling to it since it has such a fast tempo. Instead we have a few Bland and Generic openings that made it higher on the list.
Yeah it has such a Unique Beat to it. (The Instrumentals they used is similar to something, Its on the Tip of my Mind) Despite it only being Instrumental. It sure deserves a spot here
I think it'll counted as next season? because it starts on December, just like AOT and AOT Opening got included here. so I guess KnY Op by Aimer'll be included in next year/winter
@@xenasta7314 Pretty banger, but also generic, as if the songwriter get asked for "make me a song for an action anime". But at least it doesn't sound very streetlike like black clover OP. Attack on Titan OP, to be honest, I initially disliked, but as I know more about the plot of AOT and the antiwar message on the song, I liked the matching, and the fact that the stopped making a patriotic song reflects the shift of the tone in the AOT plot. Fumetsu no Anata e is also great op song that fits with the theme. This list also miss the OP of kyuuketsuki sugu shinu, which the modern themed song actually complements the anime Dai no daibouken sounds unique, but it's also a bad fit as well.
The songs fit black clover tbf. A song doesn't have to be linked to the timeline/setting of the story. In black clover, it feels like they're linked to the characters themselves.

@@tasthar3505 I mean, yes. but we are ranking openings. if it looks like an anime, feels like an anime, has a opening that is like an anime, then come on... it's an anime the word anime just means animation, so i think we can all agree that when we say anime, we aren't talking about any animation, we are talking about a certain style of animation. if a japanese studio made a idk, shrek movie, that looked like shrek, you wouldn't call that anime, would you? it's the style, not were it comes from. and if something has that certain style, it's an anime in my book.
@Random Polygon I would unironically call Shrek anime if it was made in Japan. Anime is not just a specific style. It refers to Japanese animation as a whole. By the same logic as yours, shows like Panty & Stocking with western-like style of animation is not anime. Chinese animation is referred to as donghua nowadays anyway.

I like seeing Dr Stone season 2s OP making it as it’s pretty good. Just got into World Trigger so it’s a nice surprise seeing it here. Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement’s first OP Hikari Are ie a lot better then the second OP. Edit never mind I just saw Hikari Are on the list. Boku no Sensou was another great OP from AOT. Identity was such a fantastic song and it’s such a shame season 2 of The Promised Neverland didn’t match the quality of the OP. No love for Shaman King, of course :( Soul Salvation and Get Up! Shout are better then 95% of this list.

I kinda respect how you didn't let the quality of the anime itself or its popularity influence the list. immensely respect the lack of Tokyo Revengers, I just think it's an extremely mid OP people ride for because they like the show, the song is all over the place, and the visuals are eh.
