I haven't found anything that fills the same gap as Overlord. It is so unique. Love it to death.
after overlord i thought nothing will break me, then i became a jjk fan, now i am depressed thinking about both:) theyre great
eminence in shadows comes really close for me. But i like Shadow more since he keeps beeing the idiot he actually is instead of like ainz who seems to have become more ainz then the "player" he was in the first few seasons
Log Horizon I do recommend especially after it got a 3 season after such a long long time in 2020 that is if you like MMO based games and 80% politics with 20% action

@@reizera8886 not only she belonged to Myth & Roid, I think she was the main singer on both ED done by them. So the continuity was assured.

I binged all four seasons in less than a week. This anime was so much fun. The openings are so good.

Every time I think about this anime or listen to the music a hole opens in me saying I want more. For unknown reasons I like it a lot and it’s been my favourite anime together with One Piece. Let’s hope a new season comes out soon

well were getting the movie first that covers the arc that was skipped between season 3 and 4, dont think the light novel is even far enough for a season 5 anytime soon

Silent solitude é uma ending perfeita, lembro que quando eu assisti os episodios semanalmente e vinha essa ending dava uma mistura de tristeza e hype, tristeza pelo episódio ter acabado e hype pra ver a continuação na proxima semana. É impressionante como todas as aberturas e encerramentos são incríveis. Que venha a quinta temporada!
Hollow hunger tem um espaço especial no meu coração, normalmente as aberturas de continuações de animes dão uma piorada, até agora todas as aberturas e encerramentos estão muito bons.
Esse texto foi só pra expressar como eu gosto do overlord mesmo o anime falhando em muitos aspectos, não consigo parar de ver nosso querido ser supremo dominar o mundo meio sem querer, obrigado por ler.

Antes de escuchar "Hollow Hunger" pensaba que "Clattanoia", el primer opening era insuperable, ambas realmente me gustan aunque siempre "Clattanoia" será un poquito más mi favorita. Todavía me sigo quedando con "Hydra" como mi Ending favorito en Overlord, pero casi ya llegando a la par "No Man's Dawn" y "Silent Solitude". Gracias por la recopilación, blessings :D

I wish they hadn't skipped two whole volumes of the light novels. We lost Best Girl, the faceless one, and they're now CAUGHT UP to the light novels, which means they'll either have to go back and do those two volumes as a flashback, or suspend production until more LNs are out. Overlord is NOT the kind of series you want to do a "Game of Thrones" with and go past the original work.
I believe the Holy Kingdom arc is being turned into a movie which should be coming out sometime soon.

It's going to be a movie, it was supposed to be out this summer but it's been delayed to late 2023
It's nice that all of them are about how some of the characters feel. E.g. the s4 ending is about Ainz's feelings toward the game, and the NPCs

they’ve just finished animating the witch of the falling kingdom arc, we don’t even know if the current light novel arc (the half-elf godkin) will be animated or not and the other half of this arc will only launch this July anyways
@@diansebastian23 it will obviously be animated, my main problem with the overlord anime is why it isn’t given a bigger budget by kodakawa when it’s so popular. I’m beginning to think that they should reboot overlord completely, start from scratch and do what mushoku tensei did and create their own studio dedicating time to their own project. But I know for a fact the author won’t really care as the anime was mainly just used to promote his light novel

Clattanoia tells Ain'z POV L.L.L Tells either Albedo's or Shalltear's POV Go cry Go displays as Ainz's POV and HYDRA has to be related to Albedo. Voracity can be seen that way too, Silent Solittude is told in Ainz's POV again and Hollow Hunger is told by pretty much EVERYONE and no mans dawn is of course, Albedo. (this is just a guess but go ahead and feel free to tell me what you feel like what is wrong)

My 2 favourites are Hydra as the ending of season 2, whenever i hear it i still see how the town is on flames the whole scene was so epic imo
My other favourite is the Ending of Season 4 because holy fk the vocals and melody are good

Sad that on YT music the "eYe's" album by Myth & Roid got most of it's songs hidden for some reason with 1,2 and 5-12 going poof, in turn ruining the story of emotion through said eye, which that album did contain most of Overlord's ost as far as I remember as well as Jungo Jungle which is for Saga of Tanya the Evil

I like how overlord make its story so interesting despite having an overpowered mc, but it's exactly the world where they are which is so interesting, their characters, their convictions, sometimes you find yourself rooting for characters which are on the other end, which inevitably will have to face the mc. I haven't read the novel not to the latest volumes, but i hope the good people on this world wins and ains inevitably meets his end.
Are you sure about that? While Ainz forces are inherently evil, those who live in the new world before him are much more evil than him.
For a kingdom that so corrupted and rotten to the core were destroyed not on a whim, but because no benefits in keeping the kingdom to remain exist.
A religion extremist kingdom that become a serious problem from a small skirmish that costed Ainz a companion's life just because a racism from that said kingdom, a purge is necessary so the problem won't arise anymore again.
An empire that belittles Ainz and plotting for his downfall just because Ainz is a monster, only for it's emperor choose servitude that benefits his empire the most.
Another religion kingdom that already fall into uncertainty because its leader's poor leadership even though had a good heart, only to be used as plaything and discarded by the monsters while her companion become a monster that break the kingdom in half.
I won't say the world need a hero but the world itself already failed to maintain the order and only by destruction shall the world be at peace, that's why Ainz is there as the death incarnate. As evil as he is, it is a necessary evil.
