I love the disc name for my playstyle. Most of my throws end up in tree's. Just got mine in today, can't wait until the disc launcher we are building is done to give it a test flight.
Thank you so much for this video! I am a new player (just about 6 months) and thought that I just couldnt throw this disc. It turns out it does EXACTLY what you said it does, and absolutely has a place in my bag going forward for the situations. The Wren though...its my go to putter now!
I threw mine on anhyzer and really tried to rip on it into a solid head wind and it would ride the anhyzer a little bit but there was no chance of turning and burning. I needed an overstable mid range and i am very happy about this one.
As per usual your straight forward way of saying "buy from your local or prefered store if they carry it" this use of karma and goodwill towards the sport will keep the masses in your corner! Lets hope this endeavor flies well and far ;)
Wow, really well, done, video. The camera angles and complete discriptipns of shots. I truly hope to see more reviews like this from you. Whether it's more of your stuff, like the wren or even other stuff in the bag.
I bought 2 of each. And they both work exactly as intended and have got me many birdies! Will definitely be getting some first runs when they are available at Gotta Go Gotta Throw or Blue Ribbon Pines.
i have been liking mine quite a bit. its an in between for me. normal using a rhyno, or a stable tbird for more length. this works for some hyzer and skip throws
I can honestly say, best review of any disc ive seen. I want one just because its you and I want to bag your disc, but it will definitely be a "I need to execute ______ Shot" Not an all around mid, which is awesome to have! 2 thumbs up!
OMG this is what i need i was just telling my friend i need. "Double "O" S" BUZZ in reference to the buzzz OS but something more over stable and this card is EXACTLY WHAT I want out of a disc
I think you did well what it does and what it does not. Rather than saying it is not good for a particular throw just say it was not designed for a particular throw. Designed for this not designed for that. Stay away from good or bad.
Sounds like something I could use. As a sidearm player, most midranges feel too understable and unpredictable. One thing I'd like to see is how that disc takes a thumber or a tomahawk 🤔
It’s great for short sidearm throws, short tight turns on wooded holes, skip upshots, headwind shots. It really is a meat hook, but if you use it right it’s a great disc. Not for new players for sure.
I like the details that you gave about this disc. I would love to see a detailed run down like this on other discs, new or old makes.
I'll be doing this for all future molds of Stokely Discs, for sure.
Probably the best disc review I’ve ever seen.

It's a great disc. It has already earned a place in my bag! Thanks, Scott, for the instructional videos and some good discs too!

I appreciate your honesty!!!
Great format Scott. We learn about the game and you promote the disc. Win-win.
Can’t wait to get mine in the mail 🙏

I’ll be running a 1 disc challenge at my local course with this mid range this summer.

Great video
Just bought both $43 shipped

great summary

Sounds like a deflector. That's my mvp os midrange.

How's the profile on it?? I love forehanding mids and you're the true forehand OG.
I have one here, but I won't throw it. I want to keep it nice.
Full production runs are shipping to local stores. Hope to hear what you think when you toss one.
I bought 2 so I could keep one nice
Same, protos on the wall and gonna pick some up from my LDS!
I wish there were flight numbers but i understand why it doesn't. Kinda seems like a axiom pyro. 5-4-0-3?
Brilliant!
"This disc will hold its angle into a headwind." So - approved for playing disc golf in Oklahoma City! 🤣
Scott are you delivering to the UK?
Individual orders can ship anywhere. It's cost prohibitive in some cases. We are talking to distributors in Europe to help with that.
Do a 7 speed!
Coming soon!
What are the flight numbers of the Cardinal?
Still being calculated. Overstable for sure
He's leaving that up to the users of the disc to report back. Isn't that a cool idea?
I don't know about speed or Glide, but I would rate it 0-4 for turn and fade.
@@jonatham35 damn a four for fade! 😂 meat hook
Is there a 12 speed Stokely disc yet?
Not yet...
@@ScottStokelyDG any rough ETA Scott? I’ll definitely be buying some and recommend them to my friends.
👍👍!!
2:00 "In *theory*, the disc doesn't care if you throw backhand or sidearm."
In *reality*, you're not Scott Stokely and your sidearm sucks.
LOL
Yeah, I never really understood why some discs were supposedly side arm discs. I guess, I throw my forehand about the same as my backhand 🤷🏻♂️
