- The Community Ranks EVERY Call of Duty CAMPAIGN From WORST to BEST! The community is always very loud when content creators rank anything cod related, so I thought to myself why not have the community do the ranking instead! With that in mind I made a call of duty campaign tournament where I made 30 polls, where each one had 2 cod campaigns face off to have a winner and these polls ended up having over half a million votes! This means the sample size is large enough to make this video pretty accurate to the entire community’s feelings about campaigns. And with all the results compiled together I was able to make this video of every call of duty campaign ranked worst to best! Subscribe for more content! I love making videos for you all!

world at war is a really great campaign. I find the enemies were just so smart and used actual war tactics, the newer bots just seem so dumb in comparison. and the atmosphere is just dark and intense, really puts you in WW2
WAW actually pushed you as a player with intelligent battle tactics, like endless grenade spam and getting one-shotted by a stampede of Bonsai troopers.

AW had a solid campaign and IW had an amazing campaign. I feel like people were voting on MP or misinterpreted the votes, why IW is so low on the list.
People are just stupid sheep who never gave the games a chance and just voted what they thought was popular
My biggest gripe with the IW Campaign is that it felt really shortened. I loved the characters and entire premise but I beat it in like 3 hours.
@@Silentguy_I did all the side missions, and it took me like 6 hours. I got all the most wanted. Didn’t manage to get every gun tho.
@@Silentguy_It felt like the most realistic cod to date which is ironic because it’s in space but you actually feel like a regular soldier fighting in battles that can get you killed every time.
AW was a phenomenal Campaign. Very well polished! Voice acting and movement was flawless and the cut scenes looked league's better than later CODs. I've been playing and streaming all COD campaigns in the order of release back to back on twitch so it's east to compare without going off memory and AW definitely stands out as a polished campaign that focused on quality.

Regardless of what is best, the campaigns from MW1-3 and WAW/ BO1 and 2 are classic. I love going back and playing through them every now and then. Awesome channel btw

Pretty much what you listed is the best call of Duty campaigns. Everyone has opinions. But bo2 I felt like was ok. A decent campaign and zombies. But it's multiplayer was LIT
The reason why cod ghost was considered a bad campaign is because it was made so that there could be a sequel, still my favorite campaign, sucks theres no sequel because of the community
The reason why ghost is a bad campaign is it was designed to be a family story but one of the brothers never speaks! I like the game but it should be lower when they missed the clearest part of story telling if they wanted to tell a character story.

Cold war campaign just feels like if bo1/2 got an add on dlc for their campaigns but with more stuff to unlock and with PLENTY of replay value in achievements and calling cards and I was SO MF for it when cold war came out. Cold war is a significantly better cod game than anyone seems to let on about.
How MW3 2023 was supposed to be a dlc for MW2… but they made it $70 and only 4 hours long. disappointment to say the leat
IW was a great story and a top 5 campaign for me. I thought the characters had a lot of heart and emotion which made me attached to them. I cried in the end credits listening to their last words. The villain was the main turn off but I still loved the campaign because of its characters, missions, and mission atmosphere. I also liked that you could choose your class for each mission and choose to do different side missions.

black ops 1 is and will always be the greatest cod game in terms of campaign but even multiplayer zombies etc, i have so many hours on that game so maybe it’s biasty but personally i think the campaign is just an absolute masterpiece, created an unpredictable plot where you play as these crazy likeable characters, it’s even one of my favourite games all of time which is in question with only a couple.
I personally disagree, i think multiplayer and zombies wise bo1/2 rise way above the mw games but the original 3 mws had unmatchable campaigns imo. I would still agree bo1/2 are the best cods of all time but just looking at campaign on its own id give it to the mws.

IW at 12 really just goes to show that this list is mostly a popularity contest. IW had an incredibly solid campaign and a really great ending. Should have at least been top 8 imo

I LOVED BOCW. Everything about it was so great. The story, the different types of missions and choices you can make, and the cinematic music was so awesome too! It left me wanting more.

Any specific reason the first 3 games are not on this list? Sure, the writing was not as deep as the more modern games but the campaigns were still so much fun, with such big moments still burned into my mind.

@@Keyblader001 Yeah, CoD 2 is what got me into CoD big time, then I went back and played the original, skipped 3, and then CoD4:MW came out and the next 5 years or more it was one of my fave game series. Still enjoy a CoD campaign from time to time but I don't touch the multiplayer anymore, so I really gotta find them on sale whenever I buy one.

I completely disagree with almost every point you made during that segment, wasn’t expecting that. That’s a top 5 COD campaign, oozing iconic moments, characters, and missions. The moment where Roarke kills Elias is one of the best emotional scenes any COD campaign has ever had IMO.

IW was my first cod game (I think) and I thought the campaign was pretty cool
Bo1 will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first cod campaign that I ever played where I understood what was going on. I was pretty young when the original mw trilogy came out and I’d play a couple missions of the campaign but due to lack of understanding of what was going on I often got lost trying to play it. Bo1 I had Woods and Bowman yelling in my earhole telling me where to go what to do, and even if I was by myself, I had guidance n shit, so it was easier for me to follow along. The plot, the twists, and everything in between was just top tier for me. And fucking Woods man. You have no idea how close I was to crying when I thought woods died

BO2? Well, tbh from previous rankings it’s clear this community is full of Treyarch -retar- people who were 5 year old in 2012.
70% of my audience is 18-34 and another 15% is 35-44. So the majority of the voters and viewers should’ve played most of, if not all the CODs. But I do disagree with BO2 as the best campaign, it’s still good though

AW was a really good campaign on having a new movement and game play plus it looked pretty cool, and Ghost had a pretty cool story and enemy
Black Ops 1 is my favourite. The MW ones are awesome too, but for some reason I enjoy a lot more the Delta and the Ranger missions than the Soap and Price ones
WAW was a great campaign but the grenade spam was insane and the campaign was difficult overall

Unfortunately, this ranking is very much influenced by memories. It simply cannot be that Infinte Warfare and Ghosts are so far behind. Both games have a very diverse campaign that takes place underwater and in space, creating a new complete experience. In addition, these 2 games are very emotional, especially in Infinte Warfare so many characters died, especially yourself. And playing brothers in Ghosts who lose their father in the course of the campaign breaks my heart.
I think it’s nostalgia speaking on your end. The Ghost campaign was laughably horrible. Story was awful, plot twist was nonsensical, voice acting/animation was hilarious. I’ll never, for the life of me, understand how people like it. I suspect it’s just people who grew up on Ghosts, feel nostalgic towards it, and then say people who grew up on BO1/MW2 are the nostalgic ones.
@@SJ-di5zu I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I started with World at War, but I really grew up with the MW trilogy. My first real multiplayer experience was with BO 1. So I see myself as someone who knows the franchise well.
Probably the biggest influence, especially on IW, was probably the big wave of hate because of the future issue and the jetpack, because at the time of IW nobody wanted to play with it anymore. If you look at where the game ends up in general, it's unfortunately also self-explanatory why this campaign went down with it.
With Ghosts, I have to agree with you that the animations all look very wooden and have aged badly. But the story was finally amazingly fresh and reimagined, for the franchise to use stealth and guerrilla tactics because they were constantly outnumbered. The finale is one of the best for me because it combined everything you know from CoD, you just had space combat, drone use, tank mission and a race on a train in one mission.
I don't want to say that they belong in 1st and 2nd place, no. But stories like MW 2019, MWII, which are incredibly boring with villains that are one-dimensional and interchangeable, are definitely among them. Masterpieces like BO1 and 2 and MW2 and 3 will hardly be easy to come by, although Cold War would have really come close.

@@load_out Aye, the campaign with the Scottish guy and the Maquis was definitely one of the best. I get the feeling that I liked the campaign with Dixon, Huxley, Guzzo & McCullin more though.
@@GamingAndFilmKnowledge Dixon, Huxley, Guzzo and McCullin felt like the main characters in the campaign (after all they were part of the games loading scene), the British and Polish characters felt like side-characters used to add a bit of humour and a different side story which was great

same i remember replaying the story and trying to unlock all the special weapons and destroying everything in my way with the machine gun hahahaha really wish modern cod games had that kind of replayability and genuine fun that bo2 had. that and the soundtrack kicks ass
I’ve played all but the last of the og mw trilogy, but I’ve watched the gameplay countless times over the years. As I got older I got to play them and actually could understand and follow along, and I fell in love. Gaz was always my favorite other than Price which ik is odd, but he was a great character, and I appreciate how the same voice actor they used for gaz they also used for ghost. It was an intensely reminiscent feeling hearing ghosts voice after playing the 1st one for a while. Again I didn’t get to play mw3 but I’ve watched the entire campaign countless times (which isn’t the same I know). Soaps death was really something man. The passing of the pistol from the first game was a very special feeling, but it was nothing compared to how it felt when price passed it on one last time to his last fallen friend. I can’t wait to see how the mw3 reboot plays out.

I’m just gonna say it: Finest Hour has legit one of the greatest video game opening ever. Seeing the burning Stalingrad landscape as your boat was slowly heading towards hell itself always gave me the chills

Call of duty advanced warfare was the first call of duty I ever played so I probably have some bias here, but DAMN! You guys did it dirty! The only problem I have with it is that Mitchell only speaks in cut scenes and not during gameplay. At first I thought he was mute or something.

Infinite Warfare was literally just Mass Effect without aliens and your own decision making with a lot of stuff that would make you think it was a prequel to Halo
I love how people skip COD1, COD2 and COD3 with the excuse that there isn't an actual story. If we are using that logic then World at War has no place in this ranking. That game is in the same boat as those three. It may have a little bit of a story but it's far from having an actual one. But the campaigns are mix of story and gameplay. And the gameplay itself has few aspects - mechanics, movement, level design and the gun fights. So for me the mix of all that should be the base for ranking the campaigns, not only the story. For me big chunk of the COD community ranking is based on a lot of nostalgia and that's why I can't agree with some of the spots. But there is one undeniable fact - COD never had a bad campaign. Even BO3 and Vanguard have enough not to be called bad. Mediocre - yes, but not bad.

The most memorable quote for me both come from Price in MW2 (2009) and MW2019.
The MW2 is: History is filled with liars. “If he lives and we die, his truth becomes written - and ours is lost. Shepherd will a hero, 'cause all you need to change the world is one good lie and a river of blood. He's about to complete the greatest trick a liar ever played on history.”
And my MW2019 one is: “You draw the line wherever you need it, Sergeant. End of the day, somebody has to make the enemy scared of the dark. We get dirty, and the world stays clean. That’s the mission.”
I like how he said the most recognized quote in call of duty was the numbers Mason, what do they mean. And then quoted it wrong
I’d argue “Good, that’s one last loose end” is much more recognizable imo. Everyone has heard of Sheperd and his betrayal. If we are talking wide scale tho, “No Russian” is waayyy more popular.

COD bo2's multiple choices and, strik force missions, and campaign create a class gave it an X factor that just made the campaign special. I absolutely love it when games try out bold snd interesting things like that.

Black Ops 1 is the most creative, shocking, well written campaign ever and tells us that call of duty doesn’t always have to rely on action like the Modern Warfare games do
Black Ops 2 is still great but it has a lot of problems
The main one being The jump forward from Vietnam to 2025, it should’ve jumped forward to 1986 and then Black Ops 3 should’ve taken place in 2025, that would’ve been much better
Also Black Ops 2 as a whole paved the way for Black Ops 3 and Black Ops 4 to come in and that was a stupid ass move cos they both pretty much have nothing to do with the original story

Big Red One was an amazing campaign, as was COD2. Heck even COD3 had a really enjoyable campaign. Big Red One had a ton of actors from Band of Brothers providing the voices too which made it even more enjoyable.

Advanced Warfare was my favorite campaign. It felt like much more than just following a story, there was so much more love put in to it and i felt it through the campaign. Does anyone remember walking around your room to check your loadouts? That was such a small addition but it's what sealed my enjoyment for me i really enjoyed the extra stuff they put in to the Advanced Warfare campaign and ever since I've always wanted a series based in that world. Just imagine what that team can do if they were to develop a dedicated single player experience? I'm going to die too early to experience it aren't i...

WWII is honestly #1 for me, i never really played the old cods.. WWII brings back memories (maybe thats why its #1) i remember opening it up on Christmas and playing the campaign over and over. WWII is byfar my favorite and i would play it again if i still had the disk

YAY its finally here. Only 5 mins late highest record so far
Edit: Bo1 was amazing the story, characters missions the villain almost everything was perfect. However the only few reasons for me bo2 is set a bit higher. Is again the story was incredible I like this whole concept of the choices you make lead to a different ending and ofc different outcomes in various missions. The villain raul menendez the best in the series. I liked how you can customkize your lodout before starting the mission. The characters David Mason, harper salazar even crosby were amazing one of my fav COD characters. Missions were amazing. The final mission of you jumping out the Helo was badass. How the story ended depending on your decision phennomenal which adds replay value. you have challenges that you can do. Yes a COD campaign with challenges which you can compare with your friends, online people hell if you complete certain amount you unlock special weapons. the Strike missions were hard but new and enjoyable to a degree. I also loved the idea of 2 time periods 1 set in cold war and other 2025. And lastly the music was amazing. The mission karma where the multiplayer theme plays in a certain moment and the slow timed club house shootout moment.
In short every single concept in this campaign exceeded my expectations so much which is why IMO is the best COD campaign of all time.
Edit: And even though the graphics are outdated compared to Current COD its still was good. Plus graphics doesent define a good or bad game. The fact that people say "this COD is the best cause of the graphics" is a very very small reason. Yh the graphics maybe good but what about the gameplay, the story other features on this list etc
And probably the most underrated aspect is turning on or off the 3d Graphic content (if thats the correct name) basically censores the brutal stuff that young kids shouldnt see or hear. Which is optional

@@Fergo0607 Exaaaactly. WaW is seriously underrated nowadays. It started CoD zombies, had a decent multiplayer, and an amazing campaign (though BO1 is still my personal favorite CoD on story alone)

The Cod ghost brings back a lot of nostalgia because that was the first call of duty campaign I ever completed
Regarding what the majority thinks of what's the best CoD campain is, I really enjoyed playing (within the last seven months): CoD BO 1, Cold War and 2 in that order so that what happens in BO1 gets (somewhat) translated into Cold War and what happens in the 80's get translated into BO2.
I would've had Infinite Warfare at least a few spots higher, while MW22 would be at least a few spots lower. With Infinite Warfare, I understand that CoD fans don't want a Halo game in the series, but I feel the campaign was grounded enough despite it's futuristic setting. Plus, the gameplay, characters, and overall story was genuinely good, with it's villain being serviceable enough.
With MW22, while it got points up their with it's gameplay (And graphics being a given), it's story was very average (To the point of feeling like filler), and it's villain(s) just flat and uninteresting. Arguments can be made for the characters giving it a few more points, but the game's plot doesn't do them any service (Personally, I like the original 141 better).
Other than that, I generally agree with the community ranking here.
100%. IW is easily top 5 for me. MW22’s campaign was fun and the levels were definitely varied and each had their own little twist but the story was a bit weak, it felt like it lead nowhere and lacked tension and emotion.

@@ARandomSpecOp a lot of new fans of cod are actually people who never played any cod before and came to play warzone so to them (to those of course who cared to play the single player) the mw2 2022 campaign was a masterpiece of course for they haven't seen the previous titles
@@illuminatannunakAs someone who has played since COD 3, I still think MW19 and MW22 are great campaigns. I had a blast playing through both of them, and MW22 especially had fun gameplay sequences (the one with jumping vehicle to vehicle especially)

Waw above ww2 is crazy, they’re both going against big armies with no villain and it was the same as the 3 previous games but it is older so nostalgia helps it alot

Ghost was a fantastic campaign, it was cool as hell and the dog was definitely not the only good part of the campaign.

There's absolutely no way MW 2022's campaign was better than mw19. Mw19 is easily one of the best in the franchise with the story, voice acting, music and the levels whereas 2022's felt like a step back with the most forgettable villain in the franchise and some disconnected pacing. Honourable mentions go to Ghosts, IW and WW2 as they had great campaigns too

The Infinite Warfare campaign deserves so much more love than it gets, I loved it
The community lost credibility when Infinite Warfare was that low. Multiplayer was not good at all, but the campaign was amazing it's definitely in the top 5. And the way it seamlessly transitioned from level to level was one of the first-of-its-kind
IW was so good that sound track had me feeling so nostalgic
I think the most memorable quote from a COD campaign is Daniels yelling "Sergeant. You can't do this! NO! NO!." IMO Turner's death is the best death scene in any COD (sorry if i made any MW3 fans mad I love Soap's death scene too don't worry) but it's one of the VERY few COD scenes that actually made me emotional. WWII is my second favorite COD campaign only behind original MW2 just FYI
