BO4 not having a campaign and blaming Fortnite for it is CRAZY. No one forced them to compete with Fortnite lmao. They chose to challenge it on their own. No one to blame but the comoany itself.
I'm surprised lootboxes/supply drops and microtransactions weren't mentioned. Especially in Black Ops 3. They hid powerful dlc weapons in the supply drops so anyone willing to shell out extra money for them could get guns that were meta and have an advantage over other players. Same with the gobblegums too. Those took out all the skill in zombies entirely. Perkaholic, Near Death Experience, Reign Drops, etc just ruins the challenge of making it through to high rounds and doing Easter Eggs
That Killed Black ops 3 for me. Specialist abilities where annoying since the game literally handed you a free OP weapon and said go Kill at least one player. But having the DLC weapons locked away and making them more OP than a MW2 weapon on Crack was Complete BS.
@@Ellielastofus1995 for real. Especially the ballistic knife and crossbow, without even having a BASE ballistic knife or crossbow is actually insane. At least with the gun, there were base alternatives but there were no alternatives for the ballistic knife

@@ricardoespinal8366 COD is the most casual gaming experience on the scene so they need to be able to appeal to every skill level. You can't cry about skill based matchmaking and then complain when the bad players are killing you. Wanting to be able to have a game where you can chill with different load outs and friends and then groaning about the bad players contradicts what the video is saying.
@@Horible4 i strongly disagree with your statement, see, i do have a problem with stealth bomber the same way i have a problem with perks like juggernug or one man army, they are a burden to deal with, but its not like im going to completely hate the game because of them, whereas skill based matchmaking as an algorithmic system that it is, ruins the entire MP experience since it pretty much punish whoever wants to play the game and actually get better, the lobbies gets campier and slower as you play more, making the games repetitive and boring, makes the game feel shallow. That being said, MW3 (2011) is my 3rd fav CoD ever, and as much as i can hate stealth bomber, it does not change the fact that i love the game or the memories that i made playing it, something that a SBMM CoD will never be able to do
Another horrible thing in OG MW3 was the EMP scorestreak. Basically the same thing as air patrol so u were never able to call in a killstreak after the halfway point of a match.
World at war zombies had a glitch where if it shut off your jugg if you got shocked by your own wonderwauffe, my only complaint about that game was the fact it had some bugs to it. Which honestly looking back? I’d deal with the bugs to have it back again and feel the same :(

@@AscendAR cod 1 to 3 + WaW makes you play as an ordinary soldier in their campaign yet those are great campaign. Yet if i were to mention what i hate from ww2: those f-ing lootboxes and the awfully long and time limited challenges to unlock new weapons
14:22 You're forgetting that the developers only had 16 months to work on the game, so it was due to the short time window Activision gave Sledgehammer rather than the devs being lazy.
Feel like Advanced Warfare's should have been Supply drops being at its absolute worst because new players can get shredded by OP elite variants of guns they havent even obtained and may never get.
I swear everyone forgot that SBMM existed in AW, even I as a fucking 4th grader made an account on Xbox with the name "I Smurf on AW" so the SBMM will always be ingrained in my head 😭
@@AscendARThis actually isn't accurate. AW did have strict SBMM, but we have evidence that SBMM hasn't been in CoD since BO4 at the latest. EOMM is something that exists either starting with or after BO4. EOMM standing for Engagement Optimized Matchmaking, which can be mistaken as Skill Based Matchmaking because of one of the things that EOMM does. If you're wondering how it's mistaken in anyway here's why: It takes into account performance against people you've previously played against Does a win loss or draw make you most likely to quit (And if you're wondering you can manipulate this very easily) What makes you quit a game Etc. I don't want to list everything, but I think this gets the point across.
The hate for tanks in WAW is undeserved imo. They were only on a couple maps, the larger ones, and added an interesting dynamic to the map. It was essentially an impromptu king of the hill match any time a tank map came on, and if an enemy was really good with a tank, he become a priority for your team.
my problem with Vanguard was removing faction; its supposed to be a WW2 game with Axis vs Allies. They seriously tried to make the game safe for people who don't want to play as Nazis, but if you didn't want that, then don't make a WW2 game! As for me, I bought Vanguard BECAUSE its a WW2 game, and I wanted a WW2 game that felt like MW2019, but no factions (an no mil-sim operators) just ruined it for me... But it still felt good as a regular CoD game, and that's all I can say..
Every single thing you said about MW2019 is invalid. The worst part of that game by far was needing a fuckton of longshots on every. Single. Fucking. Gun. To get the mastery camo. Absolutely criminal how bad that was.
Don't forget the absurd requirement to unlock Bruen LMG. This was back before MWII where you can hop onto DMZ, grab the gun, extract, and boom. Not to mention, MW19 had no zombies mode.
@@Paper323 name a good sledgehammer cod, I'll wait. Because I can name several good Infinity Ward cods. Cod 4 which was a new level for all shooters not just cod, MW2, MW3, MW19 which was incredibly innovative and a huge level up in every aspect, and MWII.
Lmao I’ll be real, I was an Air Patrol user in BOCW. It was just so incredibly funny blowing up people’s streaks and just KNOWING that they were seething over it. Plus, with the awfully designed SBMM making it impossible to go 10 games without playing a six man stack of greasy basement gamers, it felt like a necessity.
Bro says “I only used final stand” but says hollow points is unfair. It’s literally more damage for _one kill_ and with how quick the time to kill was on mw3 you’d never notice. The only correct deathstreak to use in mw3 was juiced, because it was the default one, same as copycat in mw2.
For me the stealth in the the open combat missions didn’t work either, I’d be sitting in a bush and then every enemy on the map knew exactly where I was
For me, one of the worst things I can think of regarding Black Ops 1, is that a ton of smgs sounded like firecrackers, same with the AK47. The gun sound design was just blegh.
Hard disagree with scorestreaks. I actually loved them because as you said, sometimes you just want to chill. It was one of the few decisions they made with that game that I actually liked. It was a good idea. As for black ops 4, the negative could have been just, every thing. God that game was bad lol Also hard disagree with MW3's open missions because cod's linear missions are usually butt any way. Less hand holding, less cinematic cliche interrupting the game, just let people play. If only it was any good lol
Not to mention that people just play that game on PC, plug in their controllers and destroy everyone. Only played that game for 1 day and had like a 30KD
MW3: Sitrep Pro. Not only did sitrep pro stop ninja from having silent footsteps, they made the footsteps louder than normal. While using ninja, Sitrep pro was the only perk in the game that completely cancelled out another perk. If you ran ninja against it you basically had 2 perks instead of 3.

Not the mention they made the 1911 into an airsoft gun. A .45 ACP pistol with ridiculously low damage, even lower than the Makarov and other 9mm pistols. The 1911 should be second to the Python in terms of damage, and as a gun nut and 1911 lover, that is something I just can't get past. I'm glad they brought justice to the .45 acp in bo2 with the tac-45.
The safe spaces were not as bad in MW2019 as those spaces had 2 or more ways to enter, meanwhile in the OG CODs, a lot of the safe spaces had like a single entrance and were usually enclosed.
Everything about this is fine except sbmm. It's the only option and sure while you might have matches that are easier and wouldn't have to stick with meta guns you'd be ruining other players experience. Having no sbmm would make new players have to face off against veterans making most of them leave and even if they stay they won't be able to improve cause most of there gameplay will be on the death screen. This and veterans of cod would basically be smurfing. You act like a game being competitive stops you from messing around and not staying in meta because you can't win but you shouldn't be able to win if you aren't playing competively. No one's stopping you from using whatever gun you want and if your friends won't play with you cause they'd lose then you need better friends. Winning only matters in casual if you make it matter.
As someone who only plays 1-2 hours on average per day it actually makes me unlock stuff faster than if I had to level up 😂 but yeah they should at least make it to where you can unlock things either by level up or daily challenges so everyone can unlock at a good pace
Mw19: Tactical sprint. Vanguard: Tactical sprint. MWII: Tactical sprint. MWIII: Tactical sprint. Warzone: Tactical sprint. Gulf war (when it comes out): Tactical sprint. I am hoping that the devs end up seeing the light and actually removing this stupid overcomplication of a movement mechanic that has worked wonders since COD4 came out.
@@electro5175 Maybe overcomplicated is the wrong word. unnecessary is a better one. I don't want to pull off a streetfighter combo everytime I want to run more than 3 metres. There are other aspects of cod that are more skillful, and should be emphasized more, than adding an unnecessary and clunky layer to spriting.
@Ronin1155 I think you struggle to read. Let me repeat it for you in words so even you can understand. And I'll even add spaces. Tactical sprint by itself bad voodoo. It useless addition to already perfect mechanic. It doodoo. Tactical sprint + slide cancel every 1 second of running = streetfighter combo = bad voodoo = not fit for call of duty. Plus: Tactical sprint give fake image of running faster when in reality you've never been slower. So again. Bad voodoo. The fact that the devs have added 3 or 4 settings to make tactical sprinting more fluid, because it fucking sucks, should tell you how horrible, useless, and unnecessary this mechanic is. Case closed.
I’m shocked you didn’t say WAW was the hit detection 😂 I also love the background music for the BO1 segment; I loved the part for the Black Ops Faction spawn theme. I actually liked Stonehaven from Gost; I don’t know if it was looks and the fact that I’m intrigued by medieval and other old time castles and architecture, but I liked it. I couldn’t stand the attachment system in MW2 2022, thankfully you can at least unlock stuff through daily challenges.

Some people do but call of duty has never been a MilSim. COD4 is an arcade shooter along with every other popular COD. Also stupid costumes are a completely separate topic
@@AscendAR Given i am 4 months late but i think he meant that people want to just play as regular soldiers not spec ops soldiers. Not that people want COD to be a MilSim game. I think either or is fine as flavor but i also never payed to cents to which group i was playing as.
Great video, but worth noting; you 1000% should pick up Call of Duty 2 and play through its campaign. Yeah it’s old, the lack of sprint is a killer, but imo it is 100% the BEST WW2 FPS campaign of any game out there. I grew up on those games; CoD2 Big Red One, CoD 3, MOH European Assault/Frontlines/Rising Sun, and while they all hold a place in my heart, CoD 2 blows them all out the water. I didn’t have a 360 when it released in 05, only a PS2 (they made Big Red One as the PS2 equivalent but its a completely different game) so I only played it in 2012-2013 after picking it up for $10 off the clearance rack in Game Stop. I was absolutely blown away at how good it was. The graphics still hold up pretty well for a game that old (smoke and particle effects were especially impressive, seeing your breath on the cold maps is still a really neat touch) and the diversity of locales keeps things visually interesting; Frozen Stalingrad, the Deserts of North Africa, the beaches, villages and fields of France, the muddy hills and forests of Germany. The mission structure and diversity is great too; sniper missions, hold the line still missions, and very ahead of their time, WELL DESIGNED, non-linear missions in which you’re placed on a small map and given a list of objectives to complete in whichever order you choose. The audio is great as well; gun sounds are crisp and distinctive, and they recorded a TON of voice lines for your enemies and allies, so the battlefields sound like absolute chaos when you’re playing. It also has the BEST D-DAY MISSION OF ALL TIME. You forgo the typical Omaha Beach landing and instead are a member of the Army Rangers, scaling the cliffs of Pointe Du Hoc under mortar and machinegun fire, and when you reach the top you’re given a sprawling battlefield with objectives for you to complete in an order of your choosing. All in all, its an oldie, but I 100% think it’s still worth a playthrough. You’d be impressed. Side note; how THEE FUCK has Toujane, Tunisia from that game only been remade once? And it was in shitty ass MW2 which I didn’t even buy? That map was phenomenal and needs to be brought back to another good CoD
I have heard a lot good things about COD 2! Your description of the details they added and some missions (like the unique D Day one) sound really cool. I may have to play it!
@@AscendAR you’d definitely enjoy it man. Should be pretty cheap too, though knowing Activision it’s likely more expensive on Steam than it oughta be lol

Mine would have to be QS. There's nothing quite like unloading a couple of rounds in someone just to have them do a 180 QS and insta kill you. And the justification for it is lame. "OH, you just want to camp in the back of the match." No, I don't. I picked the sniper to play as a sniper. "It's an arcade shooter. Let it be unrealistic." Ok, if that's the case, let the shotguns have medium to long-range 1 shot kill potential if it's just an arcade shooter. "That's unbalanced." And insta killing someone while being shot isn't? I've noticed in the newest cods from mw2019 to mw3 trying to use the sniper as intended has an unfair punishment with glare as big as the sun popping up even if you're inside where no sun would be. I wouldn't mind glare if it was timed to last 5 seconds from when you scoped up and would come back if held for over a min.
Ah, those memories on BO2 zombies will always make me love those maps. I really don't hate tranzit or die rise anyways as is. I still find them very fun and that's all I can ask for. They have gameplay styles very distinct from the rest of zombies which I what I like about them. Can always load up BO2 if you're tired of the more traditional maps. The bus and elevators make for a change in the formula. Especially with friends, the shit you could get up to, and the chaos we dealt with was just top tier comedy 😂
Yeah I got confused by this. Maybe I'm also interpreting it a little different from what your take is but the "new" IW during 2019 was a lot of the old IW team
i actually found that game really enjoyable especially at launch. guns had recoil the the crouch to help alleviate recoil was nice. but then they decided to power creep the old guns adding new ones and nerfed the damn sniper scope for the ARs.
the worst things about codm are: Tencent (TIMI) involvement, as so, leading to some questionable skins. The meta of chopper/vtol/sentry, which leads to some real struggles of grinding guns/camos. unclear settings and, sometimes, localization issues.
I know! I just didn't have footage of a Ghost Pro user in my Chopper gunner and hoped no one would notice I waited to zoom in until after i took him out 😂 And surprisingly it worked pretty well as you're the first comment that noticed!
as someone who played CoD 1 (called CoD classic on PS3), i would probably say the worst part is the lack of regenerating health. it forces you to play so much more carefully than later CoD games, and reaching a checkpoint with low health and no nearby health packs was a death sentence. just playing greenhorn difficulty (this games version of recruit) was quite a challenge, and i could barely beat the game on regular. i might have been spoiled by later entries, but that still says quite a bit about how hard it is. should probably play it again when i have the chance, refresh my memory a little honorable mention goes to the controls. there is no sprinting, and you have to manually select every weapon before you can use them (even grenades), which makes the gameplay feel a lot clunkier. however, that is only an honorable mention, because i have accepted that as part of the games identity, and i can appreciate some old school jank
The fact that Black ops 2 wasn't the brokenly overpowered snipers is crazy and by the Ghost giving you a ghillie suit isn't an advantage it does nothing.
@@Auster9376 You kinda can. You have to let whoever has the worst KD be squad lead when group up but every match will drastically bounce on the quality of players and the game will still usually screw over the bad KD player.
While i personally loved cod 4, mw2, bo1 and bo2, each had big flaws that really made me think "how didn't they think it's not going to be an issue?" Cod4 - juggernaut martyrdom - in addition to having to put multiple bullets into the guy, now he also drops a live grenade, have fun running smg builds.. Mw2 - acr and ump. There's no way you played enough of this game and never mentioned it as an issue. There's also danger close, scavenger picking up launcher + grenade ammo, rpd shreding every living being through walls, 200 ammo magazines, commando tactical knife... I love this game but it had so many issues, the only thing you could do is join the imbalanced party and run ump cold blooded in order to keep yourself sane . BO1 - I remember launch m60 being terribly broken, napalm strike being one of the most influential 5 kill streaks ever, terrible spawns..but surprisingly enough this was one of the most balanced cod games of all. BO2 - 3-4 meta guns and the rest being seriously behind, up to the point of a joke. It's where burstfire guns started being a running joke as no cod dev wanted to repeat the cod4 m16 domination. Also, the game had the worst crutch perks in the history. It was impossible to compete without hardened and tactical mask. Most tacticals were so powerful, being hit by one meant an almost guaranteed death from most potato players in the world. It's just 4 games, and I think that you didn't do enough justice to their bad side. Still a good video, and glad I agree with someone on bo3 campaign being extremely terrible, it was so boring i think i barely made it through 2 missions, while with other cods it was usually completing the campaign week after purchasing the game.
8:23 heartbroken to hear this, cod iw was my first cod, got it for Christmas or bday or smth, had no clue the mw was an iw copy exclusive (beyond weird) and only played iw, id always felt it was great and was surprised to hear how looked down upon it was.
Giving some quick ones to prove my point. Could say more. Cod4: Grenade times x3 / Martyrdom on Shipment. WaW: MP40, the most broken gun ever. Also the weakness of mortar strikes and the lethality of Bouncing Betty’s. MW2: COMMANDO. Since modern cod community is BO2 squeakers, the hatred towards commando and rage compilations have been lost to time. BO1: Ghost / Last stand. That was accurate… but also it was the old cod with WORSE HIT DETECTION. MW3: Again good, Noob’s Hand. However people who played it a lot know that the snipers were actually insane. MSR might be comparable to the ACR on usage. BO2: Target Finder LSAT. Oh and EMP grenades were nukes, immense blast radius and no care for walls. I used them and they were a GOD version of Hardline because you get so much free score. After these games, this dude started caring about online 6v6 it seems… still feels like a Wikipedia answer.
@@skidward8325 I don’t know if you noticed. But Cod is basically a copy-paste game, so the “superficial” is actually what makes one game great and another bad. Source? Read what Vondeerhar wrote when he left Treyarch. “You can’t change much in an established series” and other stuff. But proof in practice? Cod2022 VS Cod2023. The dumb community is calling one game “worse than Satan” and the other “cheat-streamer movement heaven”. Now I don’t expect anything smart from the cod community. So a small movement patch + reverting superficial changes are actually enough to justify a new game… since before 2023 DLC.
for bo3, all i got from campaign was of course train go boom and also diaz saying can you hear it? because me and my friend were doing it on realistic and we kept failing and hearing that over and over again
Original CoD 3 had excellent multiplayer and you could still find people playing through most of the 2010s. But the worst part was the artillery being locked to snipers
Yeah, open combat missions were clearly rushed in a game developed in a little over a year But I do still like the idea of open ended non linear missions, I'd like to see this idea executed properly, maybe then people might warm up to it
SBMM is the best thing about AW MP, if you compare it to something like BO2 where either you steamroll the enemy team, or get steamrolled, it is so much more satisfying to have actual close battle
As a veteran COD:M player, the major problem of the game is it's updates, i love the fact that it's updated every month, but each update resets the game data completely So you'll have to download every map, every skin, and every game mode all over again every 28 days, which is 7 gigabytes, and it's not new content, everything is just deleted from your phone Also i subbed
I actually really liked CoDM, his only gripe of it being a mobile game only is true because it's a genuinely good game, it's like a love letter combination of every CoD mashed into one.
SBMM also made it so that you are always in a new lobby virtually every match, you lost the trash talking between matches when voting on maps like in MW3 and BO2 and playing against the same people multiple games in a row
Nah I say for MW3 has to be portable radar. That attachment was so broken, the only ones who were effected by it were the ones who had Assassin pro on.
I will say, the biggest downside to Air Patrol was that it was countered by itself. If you called it in, all the enemy had to do was call their own in before yours took effect and no killstreaks from either team would be destroyed. It was a very dirty streak, but it was also easily countered if both teams had at least one decent player with Air Patrol put on.
Unpopular opinion, cod 3 mp was amazing. Simple classes with and emphasis on team play. A medic to revive, mg guy could drop ammo, recon could drop arty. Game was great, just got overrun by modders and cheaters and got zero updates. Like a few years ago when all the cod games got backend maintenance to fix matchmaking. Cod3 got zero love and the ranked matchmaking remains broken. I know 100s of people right now that would love full ranked lobbies on cod3.

BO4 not having a campaign and blaming Fortnite for it is CRAZY. No one forced them to compete with Fortnite lmao. They chose to challenge it on their own. No one to blame but the comoany itself.
What I meant by that is it wasn’t treyarch’s fault but Activision’s for making them compete with Fortnite

W killstreak
it only lasts a minute..
World at war zombies had a glitch where if it shut off your jugg if you got shocked by your own wonderwauffe, my only complaint about that game was the fact it had some bugs to it. Which honestly looking back? I’d deal with the bugs to have it back again and feel the same :(

I swear everyone forgot that SBMM existed in AW, even I as a fucking 4th grader made an account on Xbox with the name "I Smurf on AW" so the SBMM will always be ingrained in my head 😭
Yeah it seems like most people think the first game to have strict SBMM was MW2019 (that is when it got re added but AW was the original 😂)
If you're wondering how it's mistaken in anyway here's why:
It takes into account performance against people you've previously played against
Does a win loss or draw make you most likely to quit (And if you're wondering you can manipulate this very easily)
What makes you quit a game
Etc. I don't want to list everything, but I think this gets the point across.
I didn't forget....I just didn't care lol. I used whatever weapon I wanted.
The hate for tanks in WAW is undeserved imo. They were only on a couple maps, the larger ones, and added an interesting dynamic to the map. It was essentially an impromptu king of the hill match any time a tank map came on, and if an enemy was really good with a tank, he become a priority for your team.
I need ghosts 2
I would love to see it as well!
If they launch ghosts 2 with a good multiplayer, people will go crazy
@@Bibyte yep, exactly. Multiplayer was the only weakest link imo for ghosts
ghosts is the best imho. I think developers went for more cinematic experience over realistic.
And make ghosts actually good this time
Ghosts was gonna have 8-man teams by default so the maps were made huge to accompany that, but the old-gen engine ran it poorly, so 6v6 returned.
my problem with Vanguard was removing faction; its supposed to be a WW2 game with Axis vs Allies.
Excessive grenades in world at war veteran campaign drives me nuts
I remember trying to get through it on the hardest difficulty as a kid, the grenade spam was absolutely insane.
I think sledgehammer is so bad that bro forgot they even exist because he just legit said Infinity Ward is the worst

MW 2019 was amazing. Complaining about catering to low skill players while whining about SBMM doesn’t make much sense…
God that game was bad lol
Also hard disagree with MW3's open missions because cod's linear missions are usually butt any way. Less hand holding, less cinematic cliche interrupting the game, just let people play. If only it was any good lol
The problem in cod mobile is that in public and ranked Lobby you can play against bots
I'd personally say WW2 had a bigger problem of being broken on launch. The game itself played better than anything that came after it really.
My personal list:
CoD4: 3 times nade
WaW: Tanks
MW2: Noobtubes
BO1: This game didnt really have a lot of annoying things to deal with, which is why is my fav CoD so im going with Ghost
MW3: Support Killstreaks (damn you random dude with the random stealth bomber)
BO2: Target finders
Ghosts: 10 awful maps on a 15 overall map selection
AW: Futuristic movement (nothing wrong with it, im just more of a classical CoD player)
BO3: Futuristic movement
IW: Futuristic Movement (a little overhated too)
WW2: Having to heal yourself
BO4: Specialists (also that goes for BO3 as an alternate)
MW19: SBMM introduction to the series, doors, mounting, camping being meta, safe spaces, restockable claymores, stupid skins, (MW19 is the CoD that i hate the most)
Cold War: SBMM (thank you MW19)
Vanguard: SBMM (thank you MW19)
MW22: SBMM (thank you MW19)
MW23: SBMM (thank you MW19)
Bo1 had a horrible lag compensation system, the ghost perk, last chance and SMGs feel like pea shooters
MW3's no skill multi kill 😭
Dude, SBMM has been around since CoD4, your blaming a game like 12 years later lmao
I wouldn’t have been surprised if you said sbmm for the last 3-5 years of games
I wanted to have different things for each game! But yes strict SBMM is the worst thing in Call of Duty
7:32 well how do you play multilayer with out the multiple players
he probably meant without friends
Finally, someone mentioned COD 1-3 in a "every COD" video
Exactly how I feel
Am i right about BO1 and perk ghost? This perk broken spawn system and you could respawn in random part of map or on enemy spawn ?
Call of duty tore apart their playerbase.
For mw3 the daily challenge unlock is so painful
As someone who only plays 1-2 hours on average per day it actually makes me unlock stuff faster than if I had to level up 😂 but yeah they should at least make it to where you can unlock things either by level up or daily challenges so everyone can unlock at a good pace
I think that death streaks are a good idea, a way to stop the enemy team just absolutely steamrolling yours
Mw19: Tactical sprint. Vanguard: Tactical sprint. MWII: Tactical sprint. MWIII: Tactical sprint. Warzone: Tactical sprint. Gulf war (when it comes out): Tactical sprint.
I am hoping that the devs end up seeing the light and actually removing this stupid overcomplication of a movement mechanic that has worked wonders since COD4 came out.
I don’t really have a strong opinion on tactical sprint but I wouldn’t care if they took it out!
tac sprint is overcomplicated? you must be sp3d
How the fuck is double tapping the sprint button to run faster for a bit “overcomplicated”?

Mine would have to be QS. There's nothing quite like unloading a couple of rounds in someone just to have them do a 180 QS and insta kill you. And the justification for it is lame.
"OH, you just want to camp in the back of the match."
No, I don't. I picked the sniper to play as a sniper.
"It's an arcade shooter. Let it be unrealistic."
Ok, if that's the case, let the shotguns have medium to long-range 1 shot kill potential if it's just an arcade shooter.
"That's unbalanced."
And insta killing someone while being shot isn't?
I've noticed in the newest cods from mw2019 to mw3 trying to use the sniper as intended has an unfair punishment with glare as big as the sun popping up even if you're inside where no sun would be. I wouldn't mind glare if it was timed to last 5 seconds from when you scoped up and would come back if held for over a min.

unclear settings and, sometimes, localization issues.

as someone who played CoD 1 (called CoD classic on PS3), i would probably say the worst part is the lack of regenerating health. it forces you to play so much more carefully than later CoD games, and reaching a checkpoint with low health and no nearby health packs was a death sentence. just playing greenhorn difficulty (this games version of recruit) was quite a challenge, and i could barely beat the game on regular. i might have been spoiled by later entries, but that still says quite a bit about how hard it is. should probably play it again when i have the chance, refresh my memory a little
honorable mention goes to the controls. there is no sprinting, and you have to manually select every weapon before you can use them (even grenades), which makes the gameplay feel a lot clunkier. however, that is only an honorable mention, because i have accepted that as part of the games identity, and i can appreciate some old school jank
I would’ve put hit detection for world at war but it did innovate very little for mp.
That’s fair! Hit detection wasn’t the greatest for WAW 😂
The fact that Black ops 2 wasn't the brokenly overpowered snipers is crazy and by the Ghost giving you a ghillie suit isn't an advantage it does nothing.

While i personally loved cod 4, mw2, bo1 and bo2, each had big flaws that really made me think "how didn't they think it's not going to be an issue?"
Cod4 - juggernaut martyrdom - in addition to having to put multiple bullets into the guy, now he also drops a live grenade, have fun running smg builds..
Mw2 - acr and ump. There's no way you played enough of this game and never mentioned it as an issue. There's also danger close, scavenger picking up launcher + grenade ammo, rpd shreding every living being through walls, 200 ammo magazines, commando tactical knife... I love this game but it had so many issues, the only thing you could do is join the imbalanced party and run ump cold blooded in order to keep yourself sane
.
I miss TItanfall..
I loved Titanfall!

@@josetomascamposrobledano4618 these are way too superficial and don't change the game beyond a surface level
@@josetomascamposrobledano4618what are you on about
for bo3, all i got from campaign was of course train go boom and also diaz saying can you hear it? because me and my friend were doing it on realistic and we kept failing and hearing that over and over again
For cod 4 just say martydom. Thats about it
Original CoD 3 had excellent multiplayer and you could still find people playing through most of the 2010s. But the worst part was the artillery being locked to snipers
Egg 👍
Egg 🥚
2:07 did you just get a headshot with that GL?
Blackout>Warzone
BO4>every new MW game
*bo3
I swear people shit on bo3 too much, it's a mindfuck and I love it for that, I've never been more confused in my life, we need a sequel
Yeah, open combat missions were clearly rushed in a game developed in a little over a year
But I do still like the idea of open ended non linear missions, I'd like to see this idea executed properly, maybe then people might warm up to it
Non linear missions can be amazing! MWIII just didn’t do them right
Worst parts about BO4 are the Sinpers Nest, Strike Team, and Thresher. Most annoying streaks in CoD history
I like the MWII attachment system, actually good solution even if it was a problem they created
I agree that game gets so much hate and it doesn't deserve it better than mw19 my opinion
SBMM is the best thing about AW MP, if you compare it to something like BO2 where either you steamroll the enemy team, or get steamrolled, it is so much more satisfying to have actual close battle
As a veteran COD:M player, the major problem of the game is it's updates, i love the fact that it's updated every month, but each update resets the game data completely
So you'll have to download every map, every skin, and every game mode all over again every 28 days, which is 7 gigabytes, and it's not new content, everything is just deleted from your phone
Also i subbed
I actually really liked CoDM, his only gripe of it being a mobile game only is true because it's a genuinely good game, it's like a love letter combination of every CoD mashed into one.
The problem with OG MW2 was the fact that streak kills counted towards kill streak.
6:22 he spelled beginning wrong
i still play world at war mp to this day
Crazy thing about Ghost is if they just released the DLC maps as launch maps that game would’ve been perfect
Cod4: Too barebones
WaW: Lag
MW2: Noobtubes/general lack of patches
Bo1: Lag
MW3: Spawn protection (AC130 sucked)
Bo2: Lag
Ghosts: Needed 12v12 instead of 6v6
AW: Jetpacks
Bo3: Advanced movement
MWR: Boring - should've been MW2 remastered
IW: Advanced movement
WW2: 10 kills for a UAV
BO4: Pay to win weapons
MW2019: SBMM
Cold War: SBMM
MW2022: SBMM
Vanguard: SBMM
MW2023: SBMM
SBMM also made it so that you are always in a new lobby virtually every match, you lost the trash talking between matches when voting on maps like in MW3 and BO2 and playing against the same people multiple games in a row
MW2 2009: one try hard ending a match in less than 2 minutes because had and extremely overpowered kill streak selection.
Can you make a video about the launch of WWII, I don’t know what you mean by “ordinary soldiers”
Yeah I have no idea what his issue even was with wwii lol. I remember actually loving the multi-player of that game
Wow honestly cant believe someone else still remembers how strong and strict the sbmm was in advanced warfare
Shotguns are supposed to be op tho, they aren't meant to be a melee distance weapon. 00 buckshot is effective easily at 500 yards or more
Unpopular opinion, cod 3 mp was amazing.
The tuning system in mw2 2022 was so bad because had me sitting in my chair trying to think how to properly tune my weapon in the best way possible
MWII 2022: The Game
MWIII 2023: $70 DLC
