BO4 Blackout is underrated and honestly the best battle royale there has been. I didnt really like the Zombies in BO4 but MP and Blackout absolutely slapped
If Cold War had a better score streak system and released with more content, I think the multiplayer would have been perfection. Cold War is a really good combination of classic cod, and a little bit of the mw19 stuff.
@@gamemasteroffun one of the biggest issues was the bugs on launch, the initial lack of content, and the score streak system. The maps were good, the guns were good, the updates and patches were good, the game modes were good too. It's the only modern cod where any playstyle is viable.
I cannot diggest the fact that mw2 2022 ended up higher than advanced warfare and infinite warfare... Sometimes I cannot help but think that this community gets what it deserves from Activision

I feel like the b02 multiplayer class setup system truly allowed you to play to the fullest of your potential. For me, i rarely, if ever, switched to my secondary, so getting rid of it in favor of a perk or extra attachments seemed perfect. Additionally, allowing you to pick more than 3 perks allowe player to play to their true potential, in my opinion.
To me vanguard sits at #15. #16 is mw2 2022. And even though I hated ghosts multiplayer, it had a silver lining the DLC maps where amazing. It did separate themselves from having this call of duty identity therefore it was fun to play unfortunately it sits at #14 or 13
I personally think MW3/BO2 are interchangeable in pure MP experience. That is when COD youtube was on a meteoric rise/ honestly it’s peak. I don’t think COD youtube will get back to what it was then unless another good COD comes out.
I think one of the reasons bo3 was really good that you didn’t mention was level 1000 max prestige and the dark matter camo grind both of these things being first done by bo3 even though previous games had diamond camos for classes of weapons there wasn’t a camo if you got diamond on every weapon class in the game and it was easily one of the best camos even when you include dlc camos Level 1000 added tons of replayability past master prestige and if you saw a level 1000 you were impressed
Infinity Ward is an awful company post 2011. They don't care about the community (Unlike Sledgehammer) yet people diss on Sledgehammer for "copy and pasting" MW2. I don't know what people expected. They're not going to just create an entirely different game. And even then they're already doing better than MW2 but people shit on them just because

MW19 doesn’t deserve to even be on this list. It is a mockery of a call of duty game. Worst Maps of all time by a mile, and countless gameplay decisions render the game basically unplayable. Not only is it a terrible game, but it sent the franchise into a downward spiral that it still hasn’t recovered from and possibly never will.

I agree with a lot of your opinions. Especially IW. I also think WW2 is the most underrated cod ever made. I understand why the community hated it, but I personally loved the ww2 vibe with things like the divisions, the HQ (and 1v1 pit), war, and we saw the elo system revived in ranked play. So underrated.
Not only did MW3 introduce point streaks, a much more simplified, and better version of score streaks. But point streaks where bound to your class. You could run the UAV + CUAV combo with on your dome class, and get better range whilst staying of the radar and not worry about your deaths. Meanwhile you could opt for something more lethal on your campy class when the situation/map depended on it. The average player wont get a 7, 11 and 13 point streak on shipment for, but they can do so if they "strategically hold down" the B dom on hardhat for example. Still don't get why we dropped this feature.
Mw 2019 is actually an a tier multiplayer its only flaw are the maps, but it still has good ones like hackney yard and khandori hideout(your vids are awesome but I love mw 2019 as well

Black ops 2 is the goat game. Its up there with halos 2 and 3. Bfs 3 and 4. That game was the chefs kiss of call of duty. Swarm is the goat kill streak. Not to mention hopping on hijacked or raid and hearing the best loading screen music ever created.
As someone who at that time didnt had strong internet connection, i mostly played AW with bots, which may impact my judgement, but it was one of the best games in my memory, only behind BO3 and maybe og MW3
Bo2 is simply GOATED. Great gunplay, prestige system, create a class system, etc. It was closest to perfection for a cod game (safe for the non stop quickscopering, though sniping itself with the DSR and iron sight Ballista was HUGE fun).

Imo, Treyarch is very overrated. BO3 is ridiculously overrated, especially when you consider that its basically the same as Infinite Warfare, yet one is ranked high and the other ranked low. BO4 is the worst CoD multiplayer to date by a landslide imo, and Cold War is the definition of mid. I agree BO1 and BO2 are great, but the community definitely sucks off Treyarch way too much
I know Treyarch hasnt been top notch as of late but the other cod studios literally havent done anything better. I guess you can say IW for revolutionizing how COD plays now but thats it lol
Mw19 the only game where people complained about both movement and camping💀, you slide cancel and bunny hop, “your too op” you sit in a corner and camp ”your a rat” that game was just a giant skill issue for most people, take out sbmmm and battle pass its a top tier cod, not to mention the amazing graphics

I feel like some of these rankings are affected greatly by people who don't read the community post and just pick their favorite game as a whole For example on the zombies list Bo2 is definitely not the second best, 3rd best? Sure. But Bo1 has a much more solid offering of zombies than Bo2 An example of this in this video is WaW, objectively it's not all that good, however because of people's opinion on the game as a whole it could've been skewed

All things considered, i think MW2 should be higher than BO1. BO1 imo was an overreaction to the OP-ness of MW2. BO1 wasn’t that fun for me cause guns were weaker, killstreaks were average, and the guns just weren’t as enjoyable to use. Practically all the SMG’s and LMG’s sucked except the Stoner and the AK-74U
Never played PvP multiplayer in Ghosts but Squads is so slept on. Being able to build an AI team and take them into matches with you against other player's teams or just seeing how they rock it in the Wargames playlist is still fun to this day. The 3 CoD's I still play regularly are BO2, Ghosts, and MW3.

Personally I love modern warfare 2 2022, but it's not because it has the bestvgameplay or to piss anyone off, I love this game because it's the first Cod that I bought and played.
Of the top 4, MW3 and BO1 are the only ones that are balanced AND aren't full of campers and tryhards. BO2 is literally tryhard the game, MW2 is nothing but nubetubing campers. MW 2 shouldn't be that high. I could be the one misremembering, but I swear to you when bo1 came out so many people were still playing mw2 because it got rid of a lot of the fun mechanics from the previous game. Like added idle sway on guns, atrocious hit detection, movement felt clunky and floaty, ghost being insanely OP, cod points essentially being too important because you had to keep if you actually wanted to unlock a gun at said level instead of just unlocking the gun, no nuke kill streak, nearly everyone using the famas/galil or 74u, etc
You’re not, I actually sold my Xbox one month into BO1 because it was so bad and a huge downgrade. I was a quick scoper and they killed it in black ops 1 and made it impossible. Biggest disappointment of any video game I was excited to play. gave it 1 month and never came back to call of duty until the Xbox one came out.
It's not really a sledgehammer vs treyarch thing but more a new vs old. All the highest rank CODs are from 07-12 bar BO3 and the lowest ranked are all post BO2 bar WAW.
Geez what has this community come to rating AW so low. Hot take, but AW is easily the best jet pack CoD imo due to the movement being by far the fastest and most rewarding to master. Yeah, loot boxes were bad, but at least you earned a minimum of 1 per game and within 4 months, I had almost every elite variant. Not to mention the weapon selection was by far the most diverse in CoD history (even if people only wanted to meta slave to the BAL). BO3 is heavily overrated with vastly dumbed down movement (wall running was a death sentence 90% of the time and the jet pack was painfully slow only useful for reaching second floor windows in a few maps) on top of introducing no-skill free gunfight winning specialist abilities (made even worse in BO4) that completely subvert gunfights. Hardpoint was basically just “use gravity slam for a free multikill + hardpoint control” and SnD was just “shoot hive in random corners or on the bomb sites” and defenders practically always win. Not to mention BO3 had basically no post-launch weapons because they were all solely locked behind supply drops with the worst odds in all of loot box CoD history. To this day, I have only ever gotten 1 melee weapon and 1 ranged weapon because of getting duplicates. At least BO3 had a large variety of challenges and operator specific missions which made progression interesting, but that’s about the only redeeming quality it had. Still better than BO4 which I left immediately after getting dark matter about 4 months in (the only CoD I actively quit and never returned to again within its lifecycle)
I'm very glad the community has put IW very low on the list. In my opinion, it's the worst ever multiplayer I've ever played. It has the worst map design which doesn't give players to use their advanced movement in a strategic way. Customization has never felt so lack luster. At least with any other COD Multiplayer (except for Vanguard and MWIII since I haven't played those), you can have fun on the multiplayer with friends. Even with Ghosts you can have with it. But there's no fun to be had with IW's multiplayer. Might as well call the game "Restrictive Warfare" because it might as well.
The fury I felt seeing Vanguard at the bottom of the list lol Champion Hill alone, is my reason Multiplayer is great. It's genuinely such a fun gamemode that nobody talks about and sometimes I just redcownload it simply to play Champion Hill or just play a PM with some guys on my discord that wanna play it more historically accurate (Without attachments unless they make sense)
I got my first nuke (old MW2) on Wasteland with an MG4 of all ugly weapons. And then the next lobby was wasteland again where i got another nuke. so back to back. That was the only two nukes I ever got in a legit lobby with randoms.
Covid literally fried these peoples brains. Many people were on lockdown and just gamed. Cod became a coping mechanism and theres an infatuation with MW 2019 and the Cods that followed. I love COD but BO3 was the last good one.
I wish cod took a step back after the 360/ps3 era and realized their games could only go downhill from there. I mean hindsight is 20/20 but if they just started releasing games every 2 years and added more support to their older titles, cod could be so much more fun. I want to play mw2 again but the hackers are killing me. Plutonium is the way for now ig

I cut back playing BOCW multiplayer mode because it felt very average. It is boring at the same time because there isn’t anything fun about it!

I was pleasantly surprised to see it win a couple polls. I think people may finally be starting to appreciate it as the last call of duty with the old prestige system, pick 10 classes, and no strict SBMM.

Black ops 2 is the goat game. Its up there with halos 2 and 3. Bfs 3 and 4. That game was the chefs kiss of call of duty. Swarm is the goat kill streak. Not to mention hopping on hijacked or raid and hearing the best loading screen music ever created.

As someone who at that time didnt had strong internet connection, i mostly played AW with bots, which may impact my judgement, but it was one of the best games in my memory, only behind BO3 and maybe og MW3

Bo2 is simply GOATED. Great gunplay, prestige system, create a class system, etc. It was closest to perfection for a cod game (safe for the non stop quickscopering, though sniping itself with the DSR and iron sight Ballista was HUGE fun).
I still remember a time when MW3 and BOII were considered mid due to CoD fatigue first setting in.

Imo, Treyarch is very overrated. BO3 is ridiculously overrated, especially when you consider that its basically the same as Infinite Warfare, yet one is ranked high and the other ranked low. BO4 is the worst CoD multiplayer to date by a landslide imo, and Cold War is the definition of mid. I agree BO1 and BO2 are great, but the community definitely sucks off Treyarch way too much
I know Treyarch hasnt been top notch as of late but the other cod studios literally havent done anything better. I guess you can say IW for revolutionizing how COD plays now but thats it lol

Mw19 the only game where people complained about both movement and camping💀, you slide cancel and bunny hop, “your too op” you sit in a corner and camp ”your a rat” that game was just a giant skill issue for most people, take out sbmmm and battle pass its a top tier cod, not to mention the amazing graphics

BO1: China lake (although I think it was meant to be terrible) realistically the Uzi
MW3: AA12 (such a disappointment from its mw2 counterpart)
BO2: either the S12 or the SMR (so many good guns in this game it’s kinda hard to choose
AW: NA45 sniper (cool idea on paper but but a complete failure in practice)
BO3: Dragoon: just way too slow for a jet pack cod
IW: I’m not sure I didn’t play much of this game
WW2: Sawed-off shotgun (when the game first launched it was borderline impossible to
get a kill with this gun its been buffed over ww2’s lifespan but it’s still awful)

For example on the zombies list Bo2 is definitely not the second best, 3rd best? Sure. But Bo1 has a much more solid offering of zombies than Bo2
An example of this in this video is WaW, objectively it's not all that good, however because of people's opinion on the game as a whole it could've been skewed
I thought that may have been the case on a few polls from previous community rankings. So, this time on the polls i made sure on the actual voting section to multiplayer on each line to try and avoid any confusion there

All things considered, i think MW2 should be higher than BO1. BO1 imo was an overreaction to the OP-ness of MW2. BO1 wasn’t that fun for me cause guns were weaker, killstreaks were average, and the guns just weren’t as enjoyable to use. Practically all the SMG’s and LMG’s sucked except the Stoner and the AK-74U

Never played PvP multiplayer in Ghosts but Squads is so slept on. Being able to build an AI team and take them into matches with you against other player's teams or just seeing how they rock it in the Wargames playlist is still fun to this day. The 3 CoD's I still play regularly are BO2, Ghosts, and MW3.
My first nuke ever was on derail camping with the spas 12 at the 1st floor of the main building 😂😂😂

It was a flawless marathon sniping nuke in free for all on afghan, I used the nuke at 29 kills, allowing me to win 36-1 (thanks to the nuke for the extra amount of kills , but hate that it killed me too 😅)
Personally I love modern warfare 2 2022, but it's not because it has the bestvgameplay or to piss anyone off, I love this game because it's the first Cod that I bought and played.
I Liked Aw and never have a Problem with SBMM. This is the Game there i Have the Highest KD.
Of the top 4, MW3 and BO1 are the only ones that are balanced AND aren't full of campers and tryhards. BO2 is literally tryhard the game, MW2 is nothing but nubetubing campers. MW 2 shouldn't be that high. I think if yall went back and played a few matches you'd rage after getting nubetubed 5 times, and with BO2 for all of the weed smoking horny 19 year olds quick scoping and camping

I could be the one misremembering, but I swear to you when bo1 came out so many people were still playing mw2 because it got rid of a lot of the fun mechanics from the previous game. Like added idle sway on guns, atrocious hit detection, movement felt clunky and floaty, ghost being insanely OP, cod points essentially being too important because you had to keep if you actually wanted to unlock a gun at said level instead of just unlocking the gun, no nuke kill streak, nearly everyone using the famas/galil or 74u, etc
You’re not, I actually sold my Xbox one month into BO1 because it was so bad and a huge downgrade. I was a quick scoper and they killed it in black ops 1 and made it impossible. Biggest disappointment of any video game I was excited to play. gave it 1 month and never came back to call of duty until the Xbox one came out.
And then when MW3 came out many went back to bo1 lol.

It's not really a sledgehammer vs treyarch thing but more a new vs old. All the highest rank CODs are from 07-12 bar BO3 and the lowest ranked are all post BO2 bar WAW.

Geez what has this community come to rating AW so low. Hot take, but AW is easily the best jet pack CoD imo due to the movement being by far the fastest and most rewarding to master. Yeah, loot boxes were bad, but at least you earned a minimum of 1 per game and within 4 months, I had almost every elite variant. Not to mention the weapon selection was by far the most diverse in CoD history (even if people only wanted to meta slave to the BAL).
BO3 is heavily overrated with vastly dumbed down movement (wall running was a death sentence 90% of the time and the jet pack was painfully slow only useful for reaching second floor windows in a few maps) on top of introducing no-skill free gunfight winning specialist abilities (made even worse in BO4) that completely subvert gunfights. Hardpoint was basically just “use gravity slam for a free multikill + hardpoint control” and SnD was just “shoot hive in random corners or on the bomb sites” and defenders practically always win. Not to mention BO3 had basically no post-launch weapons because they were all solely locked behind supply drops with the worst odds in all of loot box CoD history. To this day, I have only ever gotten 1 melee weapon and 1 ranged weapon because of getting duplicates. At least BO3 had a large variety of challenges and operator specific missions which made progression interesting, but that’s about the only redeeming quality it had. Still better than BO4 which I left immediately after getting dark matter about 4 months in (the only CoD I actively quit and never returned to again within its lifecycle)

I'm very glad the community has put IW very low on the list. In my opinion, it's the worst ever multiplayer I've ever played. It has the worst map design which doesn't give players to use their advanced movement in a strategic way. Customization has never felt so lack luster. At least with any other COD Multiplayer (except for Vanguard and MWIII since I haven't played those), you can have fun on the multiplayer with friends. Even with Ghosts you can have with it. But there's no fun to be had with IW's multiplayer. Might as well call the game "Restrictive Warfare" because it might as well.

Champion Hill alone, is my reason Multiplayer is great. It's genuinely such a fun gamemode that nobody talks about and sometimes I just redcownload it simply to play Champion Hill or just play a PM with some guys on my discord that wanna play it more historically accurate (Without attachments unless they make sense)
I got my first nuke (old MW2) on Wasteland with an MG4 of all ugly weapons.
And then the next lobby was wasteland again where i got another nuke. so back to back.
That was the only two nukes I ever got in a legit lobby with randoms.
Covid literally fried these peoples brains. Many people were on lockdown and just gamed. Cod became a coping mechanism and theres an infatuation with MW 2019 and the Cods that followed. I
love COD but BO3 was the last good one.
