I still believe COD should do a spin-off game for one year that is JUST Zombies. Every map (at least from the Treyarch era), new maps as well, every map being able to be played with bots (for those of us who are terrible at the game but don’t enjoy playing online). I guess BO3 kinda did this with Chronicles, but I’d really love to see them just go full out and put it all on one disk so we can just play and enjoy whatever era of Zombies we personally enjoyed most. Although if it was Treyarch exclusive maps id still like to see a cheeky Zombies in Spaceland addition, because it’s the best non-Treyarch zombies map by a country mile

i would love to see it too, but not just zombies. i want all "extra game modes" included, Zombies, extinction from ghost, exo zombies, survival from MW series. dead ops arcade, everything that wasnt multiplayer or campaign i want on one disk. Id pay $100 for it easily.
I really think WW2 is a very underrated experience. I have only played the first map so maybe im a bit blind but I think that map is very well designed and it is very fun to make the wonder weapon. There was also the notebook system which made it a bit more streamlined to find the easter egg/ending on that map. I think the weapons felt good and not op but not weak. I think overall if you are just gonna sit back and chill with the boys this is a fun zombies that I think is severely underrated due to issues I don't really see that much. Good video too keep up the great work!
Oh ok then that is why I enjoyed the first one so much. I really just think that map gets hated on so much and I don't understand it. That map in my opinion is a top like 15 in the zombies franchise
I'm trying to get Directors Cut on this game and it's so fucking hard but so rewarding once you get it. This has been said a thousand times, but they really nailed the super EE.

I think BO4 is incredibly different which is why it made lots of people enjoy it, and others dislike it. Its a hardcore easter egg fest really, and the perk revamp confused me. But I did enjoy everything else really
Infinite warfare is definitely top 3 zombies I think a lot of people saw how much hate IW got and never gave it a good go it has some of the best boss fights in cod history

I think you either understand bo4 and you love it or you hate it. I personally love it. Honestly, I find myself playing more bo4 than bo3. Seriously. Not even saying it's a better game. But prestiging feels way better in bo4, the specialist weapons are one of the coolest features to be put in zombies, most of the maps are flat out fun to play (IX, Classified, Ancient Evil etc. I think bo4 was ranked nearly at the bottom because like he said, most of the community is casual. Bo4 is more for the hardcore fans. That's why bo3 is so popular, it's pretty much geared for anyone.

I don’t understand why people like ix so much. It has no real wonder weapon and there are so many mini bosses for no reason. I think the only good part about it is the ee. Bo4 is still my second favourite zombies
With all of the Black Ops 3 remasters on steam, etc, the franchise of the remasters being with infinite warfare present, it is a total masterpiece! Only OG's play Hydro Paradise! It's so good
i know everyone doesnt like IW that much but i love that games zombies the best because the easter eggs werent too hard but still hard enough that not everyone could do it and the starting map was very good imo along with the dlc's
6:46 besides the clunky movement I don’t see a downside here. You mentioned most people voting in this list are probably casuals and from a casual perspective waw has everything you need to have fun, with the real limiting factor imo just being not many maps.
I agree with this! Also, sometimes less is more. I get turned away from some zombies maps because all the bloat content feels unintuitive or boring. I have been enjoying some Chronicles maps with a friend. The reason why they are enjoyable is because of simplicity and diversity within a short time-span. I understand that some people like playing Escape Room with zombies, but I prefer the more REAL experience, less twisted and void.
Bo4 is in my opinion one of the Top 3 best zombie modes. The maps and complicated easter eggs are just so much fun and exactly what I want. I agree that the perk system and HUD was not the best, but other than that it still is a really good experience.

Albert Einstein once said that the most complex solutions require the simplest answers, or something like that. It’s why WaW is ranked so high & honestly, I think it should be higher. I still play it from time to time because it’s the sole essence of what made zombies its own game mode. See how long you and the boys could survive, then bust each others chops on who kept getting down, who kept getting the bear on the box, who got the most kills etc.
Everyone ranks aw low because it was hard to play and most people couldn’t get to lvl 30, the “unpredictableness” of the exosuita is what made it fun, it made it so you couldn’t control exactly where you could go and therefore the zombies had at least a chance at getting you
On bo4 the maps are cool but it’s probably so low because of the massive 180 it took from bo3 and it was the beginning of the end of zombies, which for the zombies story line we had been playing for so long they absolutely ruined it.
Tbh I feel like Cold War is in top 3 just because it caters to casuals You don’t have to sweat your nuts off and look up a guide looking for 87 parts and teleporters just to turn on the power
The only thing I would change is that I would probably swap BO1 & BO2. The reason is simply because the BO2 launch maps were either terrible or left a lot to be desired, with the fan favorite being Town (a map within Transit, which is one of the most hated maps). It wasn't until the DLCs released that we had some really great maps. Black Ops 1, on the other hand, had two bangers available at launch: Kino and Five. I still play Kino to this day, and Five has one of the most insane premises for a Zombies map ever. Not to mention, you have a hidden map: Dead Ops Arcade. It's a cool little bonus map. It doesn't hold a candle to any of the other maps, but I still enjoy it for what it is. The DLC maps were also great, with Call of the Dead being a fan favorite while also remaking the WAW maps. I can definitely see why some people prefer BO2 given that the DLC maps are some of the best in the entire series, but Black Ops 1 was just an overall more solid experience that didn't have to rely on the DLC maps to "fix" the game.
Honestly I’ve played all the cod zombies and I feel ww2 zombies was the best experience for me better than bo2 I mean ww2 was just the perfect amount of lore, graphics,aesthetics,challenges,and the bosses were the best I’ve ever killed and has the best EEs the only bad side for me is that it died didn’t get a chance to grow I hope on day Ww2 gets a remastered
I think black ops 2 is the best because there are still Easter eggs and fun maps but also it isn’t too complicated it is simple and anyone can understand also I think that
Waw actually made you camp spots as a team, nowadays the game isn’t really designed for you to do that and everyone is forced to free-for-all and split the zombie numbers and encourages clutching, which is fine, but I will always miss the Waw days. Also ww2 zombies gets respect from me just on the basis alone of it trying to make zombies scary
I'd change the placement of BO3 and cold war, the gobblegums were tedious the characters were annoying and the maps were forgettable, outbreak has great replayabilty the smoothest gameplay great graphics and the ability to start with a custom gun, plus more customization through weapons and skills
Honestly agree. The gobblegum always confused me and felt like it was a gimmicky crapshoot. To be able to start with a custom gun of any kind besides a wonder weapon and find a play style that works for you along with your field upgrade and be able to kill it. Its so simple, covenant and makes the whole experience that much more easier to relax and enjoy. Sure less story, it’s basically the classic DOOM of cod. Basic but solid writing, enough to be cool, but focus on pure unadulterated running&gunning blasting shit like your on pcp, its up there with the best. Truly shut thing about cold war is that the servers or application oftenly crash out of nowhere, or my mic cuts out, it freezes and gets laggy AF. But if your on a good day smooth playing, its really fun.
My list would be: 10. Vanguard 9. WW2 8. EXO Zombies 7. WaW 6. IW zombies 5. BO4 4. BO1 3. Cold War 2. BO2 1. BO3 Now listen before I get a mob coming at me with pitchforks for putting Cold War above BO1 I have to say, BO1 is just not as fun as Cold War is to me, is it still an amazing game? Of course I still love BO1 but I find myself enjoying Cold War more, and this is coming from someone who grew up with BO1 and BO2, tbh I really only love like 4 maps in BO1 those being, COTD, Ascension, Five, and Moon but the rest are just kinda meh and boring while in Cold War I enjoy all the maps and think they are all fun. Just because I put it lower doesn’t mean I wouldn’t still hop on BO1 from time to time and play some COTD, but since chronicles came out I just don’t see a reason to play BO1 unless it’s to play the Waw remasters or to play Five and COTD. And also I put Waw so low because yes it’s great and it started it all but damn is that game buggy as hell and super old feeling, besides everything starting at Waw and going down I’d be happy to play from time to time and I enjoy them all, except Vanguard and WW2 I hate those but everything else is fun and I have no problem playing even if I like one better than the other.
Vanguard has one of the best map on every cod zombies and it’s shi no numa remastered, then y’all can say everything about vanguard but can’t say shi no numa is meh. Good rated btw

It has arguably the best engine and most consider its maps/easter eggs to be pretty-very good. Personally though I do think it’s chronicles that makes it the clear #1, otherwise it would be closer.

I’d argue infinite warfare being top 5 it had the best super Easter egg in zombies history and you can get an item called talisman masks which would give you lobby music to chose from
I feel like the best pure zombies experience is definitely WaW The only problem is the lack of content so the only thing you can really do is just kill some zombies but even with the limited zombies content it has, WaW still managed to perfectly capture the essence and atmosphere of zombies and at the time nothing else was really like it

Never played Vanguard so zombies is last for me, wasn’t crazy about bo2 zombies, bo1, bo3, bo4, CW zombies were pretty fun. I actually liked Exo zombies; I learned how to move and “avoid traffic” when EMZs would disable my exo suit, the weapon upgrade system could have been better but…. I like the current zombies but they need to expand upon it; they’re supposedly adding a round based mode. There’s some glitches that definitely need fixing, they need to finish the initial work before release, some of the lag and glitches are ridiculous. I forgot; IW zombies was pretty good, I liked the first 2 maps at least.

The first map was the best one! It kind of just kept getting worse as the game went on. Basically the opposite of its multiplayer

And because you needed to get DLC to play it, with no launch maps, so you couldn't try it out before getting the DLC

I can definitely see why some people prefer BO2 given that the DLC maps are some of the best in the entire series, but Black Ops 1 was just an overall more solid experience that didn't have to rely on the DLC maps to "fix" the game.
Cold was is a little high but I maybe would out it there, it was really fun honestly
Honestly I’ve played all the cod zombies and I feel ww2 zombies was the best experience for me better than bo2 I mean ww2 was just the perfect amount of lore, graphics,aesthetics,challenges,and the bosses were the best I’ve ever killed and has the best EEs the only bad side for me is that it died didn’t get a chance to grow I hope on day Ww2 gets a remastered

Waw actually made you camp spots as a team, nowadays the game isn’t really designed for you to do that and everyone is forced to free-for-all and split the zombie numbers and encourages clutching, which is fine, but I will always miss the Waw days. Also ww2 zombies gets respect from me just on the basis alone of it trying to make zombies scary
I'd change the placement of BO3 and cold war, the gobblegums were tedious the characters were annoying and the maps were forgettable, outbreak has great replayabilty the smoothest gameplay great graphics and the ability to start with a custom gun, plus more customization through weapons and skills
Honestly agree. The gobblegum always confused me and felt like it was a gimmicky crapshoot. To be able to start with a custom gun of any kind besides a wonder weapon and find a play style that works for you along with your field upgrade and be able to kill it. Its so simple, covenant and makes the whole experience that much more easier to relax and enjoy. Sure less story, it’s basically the classic DOOM of cod. Basic but solid writing, enough to be cool, but focus on pure unadulterated running&gunning blasting shit like your on pcp, its up there with the best. Truly shut thing about cold war is that the servers or application oftenly crash out of nowhere, or my mic cuts out, it freezes and gets laggy AF. But if your on a good day smooth playing, its really fun.

Now listen before I get a mob coming at me with pitchforks for putting Cold War above BO1 I have to say, BO1 is just not as fun as Cold War is to me, is it still an amazing game? Of course I still love BO1 but I find myself enjoying Cold War more, and this is coming from someone who grew up with BO1 and BO2, tbh I really only love like 4 maps in BO1 those being, COTD, Ascension, Five, and Moon but the rest are just kinda meh and boring while in Cold War I enjoy all the maps and think they are all fun. Just because I put it lower doesn’t mean I wouldn’t still hop on BO1 from time to time and play some COTD, but since chronicles came out I just don’t see a reason to play BO1 unless it’s to play the Waw remasters or to play Five and COTD. And also I put Waw so low because yes it’s great and it started it all but damn is that game buggy as hell and super old feeling, besides everything starting at Waw and going down I’d be happy to play from time to time and I enjoy them all, except Vanguard and WW2 I hate those but everything else is fun and I have no problem playing even if I like one better than the other.
I'd personally I would put IW over BO4 because space land destroys all of bo4s maps
Vanguard has one of the best map on every cod zombies and it’s shi no numa remastered, then y’all can say everything about vanguard but can’t say shi no numa is meh. Good rated btw

Yeah bo3 is super overated
It has arguably the best engine and most consider its maps/easter eggs to be pretty-very good. Personally though I do think it’s chronicles that makes it the clear #1, otherwise it would be closer.

The only problem is the lack of content so the only thing you can really do is just kill some zombies but even with the limited zombies content it has, WaW still managed to perfectly capture the essence and atmosphere of zombies and at the time nothing else was really like it

infinite warfare zombies is still my most favorite one
Never played Vanguard so zombies is last for me, wasn’t crazy about bo2 zombies, bo1, bo3, bo4, CW zombies were pretty fun. I actually liked Exo zombies; I learned how to move and “avoid traffic” when EMZs would disable my exo suit, the weapon upgrade system could have been better but…. I like the current zombies but they need to expand upon it; they’re supposedly adding a round based mode. There’s some glitches that definitely need fixing, they need to finish the initial work before release, some of the lag and glitches are ridiculous.
I forgot; IW zombies was pretty good, I liked the first 2 maps at least.
WaW is a classic, but it is not replay able to me even though it’s a classic, infinite warfare and WaW should swap places, but that’s really it lol
