Your videos make me want to take a trip and come fishing!!! I wish i could do this here in the states. I can do some backpacking freshwater but not saltwater. Im gonna take a trip in next 2 weeks and go down to the gulf and do some shore fishing and relaxing while looking into good backpacking fishing areas here in FL. Awesome videos sir!!
These blokes always have a great adventure fishing, camping and cooking. I would love to learn how to hook up all that climbing and safety gear to fish at these remote places where hardly anyone has fished. Keep up the hard work. Much love from an avid fisherman.

Im a mad keen rock fishermunn. In the north of of the north island of nz. You guys are a tad more extreme than us.lol we go on big walks and fish big swells:) its epic as where you guys are wouldnt catch me climbing down faces like that.lol
Even the calm days are a bit rough here. Sub 2m is calm. Just gotta choose locations to suit conditions. I imagine the west coast of NZ would be similar

I was telling mates at work about your adventures today they were like stuff that.lol if I wasnt freaked out by heights id do more cliff stuff. In regards to the big swells you fish when our swell is over 2m the water is generally to dirty and the areas we fish aint huge wave friendly to low lying the water gets dirty cos the deepest spots are maybee 12 metres and shallowest 1.5m-2m I prefer fishing shallows get some big snapper and good kingfish plenty of trevally in certain spots too. How big do your saltwater salmon get that you catch? I won a fish comp 9 years ago with a 3.265kg one we call them kahawai. Ive caught thousands of them over the years sometimes they are almost in plague amounts. Ive only caught one other last year that was just over 3kg. Average good size would be 2kg but they are seasonal turnup in jan and go through to august thats around the rocks otherwise only small ones around.

Lovely fishing! Those fish are not in danger of extinction, or anything like them, so if they caught them they should take them and make a nice dinner. I do not see good putting them to suffer for mere pleasure.

Nannygai or bight red fish is my favorite but very rarely caught. Breaksea cod, harlequin fish and smaller dhufish are all my favourite eating after the nannygai

Just normal thick socks, when the rocks are a bit wet and slimey they grip the best. Probably wearing explorers in this one

Their salmon, J#wfish, kingfish and proably others have the same names as fish in the states but are different fish.
