Growing up near the industry, I think it helped her to not go too crazy with the surgery, unlike some celebrities who move out to Hollywood and literally become unrecognizable from their un-famous selves. There is a clear before and after but it's all in perspective and proportion. Good judgement and guidance.

I actually see her ageing and I think those without child age less quickly as there aren’t as many stressors, sleepless nights, financial worries, body changes which can affect the fat in your face that makes women look youthful

Hi Lorry! Could you please analyze singer Carrie Underwood? She was pretty before and still is, but she almost looks like a different person now. She admitted to some reconstructive surgery following an accident, but personally, I think there’s more.
I could be wrong but I think she had some type of rhinoplasty before she was 18. Her nose looks bigger in her earlier yearbook pictures than the pictures when she's 18.
I was thinking the same. It looks significantly bigger in her high school pics (eg 2003 and 2004) but then I went through pics from 2003-2007 and I do agree now that she probably did get it done around the 2005 mark. Maybe straight after prom / end of school in 2004? And then it took a year or so for the swelling to fully go down and settle in. Obviously Lori is the expert but I also wonder if she perhaps had recently had a subtle brow lift - not at the corners but more focussed on the centre of the arc just to lift up her natural shape a tiny bit.
One of the best plastic surgery approach - just a bit here and there, not to change just to improve a bit. If I had money to spend, this is the way I would go. She still looks like herself, and she looks really natural. Even her approach to lip fillers - just great.
Putting aside all her recent stuff, she has really taken good care of herself and I can really learn from that such as health management & weight management! It's hard to love yourself in this age without either going overboard or at the other end of the spectrum, giving up.
I loved the first nose job. It was beautiful, natural-looking, and unique. It's fascinating-down to the dental work. I didn't know there was cosmetic work for gums! I really love her natural hair. I have similar hair- it is NOT easy to maintain.

Yes, aside from her nose being slightly pert, it does still fit her face, but could look like a plastic surgery nose if one had time to pay attention to it specifically. However, a nose alone is not going to make somebody look totally fake ( unless they have a michael jackson nose lol. She doesn't). I support anyone who wants plastic surgery. I had a tummy tuck after I was done having kids. What makes is sad is all these celebrities are starting to look the same. They get the same necessary procedures to get the same nose, the same prominent cheeks, the same eye shape, etc. They were all already naturally beautiful and I wish we saw more variety in facial features in Hollywood. And all the pressure from the industry to look “perfrct” in the ways they say. She looks great now. She also looked great before. But ultimately, it’s what she wants and how she feels. ETA I would love a neck lift, but that comes with a face lift and doing anything to my face scares me. I mean, you can’t hide that if anything goes wrong.
@@tantalize811 the standards of beauty change constantly, and are different all over the world. And how much of that idea has come from our ever escalating alterations of our appearances. Makeup like kohl liner has been around since at least ancient Egyptian times, but in the last century, women have done more and more to alter our appearances to the point of being unrecognizable without it. The amount of makeup women wear has increased dramatically the last few decades. I’m the first to admit I do plenty to improved my appearance. I had braces. I’ve whitened my teeth a few times. I color my hair to cover the gray, polish my nails, wear some makeup (but personally prefer a more natural look). I wear false tanner in the summer, used skin care products, etc. Abd it’s ok to do all of these things women do to feel more attractive. But how much of that is influenced by the false beauty standard set by media and unattainable “perfection” that’s created with photoshop? What we perceive as beautiful has changed to something articlficiually created. Most of us do things to keep up with this unachievable standard, but we all have natural beauty features, like Lorry points out. We need to start appreciating them again.

Great analysis Lori - Blake’s work has been done so well to keep her looking young and natural. Considerable eye and nose work but it has really brought out her natural beauty traits. Her botox and fillers are very strategic and never overdone. Would like to see an update on Angelina Jolie - she’s looking amazingly flawless in 2024, ageing with such incredible grace. I am not sure if it’s another facelift, or some fat transfer or just styling (the lighter hair etc) and some serious skin and non invasive maintenance work or something else??
If I'm not mistaken she denies any plastic surgery on her face (this was back in the day - when she already had done a rino) so need to check if she changed her stance on this.
She had great surgeons and looks lovely. I hope you’ll do an update on Angela Jolie. There are recent videos from her Venice trip that shocked me because she looks so different, and not because of her new hair color. Her nose reminds me of a boxer’s that’s been broken-flat and wider than I recall. I don’t know if it’s an optical illusion due to nasal labial folds that seem more pronounced and/or cheeks that were newly filled. She’s always been extremely thin and maybe as we age this makes our face look more gaunt, so perhaps that’s it. I’m stumped and hope you can explain. People also commented that her arms look frail and transparent, but again, she’s always been super thin and perhaps it’s age-related. Going through surgical menopause at an early age as she did was undoubtedly difficult which could take a toll on one’s appearance.

Her hair is gorgeous and actually very healthy looking. People used to pin-straight hair - or even worse, flat-ironed hair - just don't know what wavy or curly hair looks like when it's healthy. A bit of frizz or texture is wonderful! And, yep, I have hair just like hers, very thick and wavy, but recently cut off 10" so mine is just below shoulder length. All that hair gives you a headache if you wear it up very often, and my lifestyle doesn't lend to wearing it down most of the time like Blake.
its always the nose they can't quite seem to leave alone. angles matter, her nose was fine. anyways, seeing such subtle work done is nice. I see why certain people are open to plastic surgery, I would be too but only some touch ups, nothing like reconstructing my entire face in exchange for somebody else's.

In China, a recently A-list popular actress named Zhao Lusi is under scrutiny because people are speculating she had done surgery although she denied having had any work done. I think it’s worth for you to check out and have them discussed
I think the nose jobs were great. I was wondering from a health point of view how it would affect her. My dad had several motorbike accidents (he was a Mod) and had to have reconstruction work on his very broken nose. Since then, he's had sinus issues and even trouble with pain when ascending or descending on a plane. He can't really breathe through his nose. His was non optional Would this be down to the procedure or the skill of the surgeon? Great video!
She has had beautiful work done, really conservative and appropriate for her face. I feel a bit sad that she's lost the original shape of her nose but I understand that there's a preferred nose shape in Hollywood, such a shame though.
I don't like her as a person but I agree that she has done her plastic surgery well and has timed it out so that it looks conservative. I'm glad you spoke about her teeth and the gum line revision. Because it was apparent that even after braces, she had gum work and smoothed out the uneven gums. Her nose is the biggest change to her face. But I do think it looks good and with obvious revisions. And the eye work would be next... Also very apparent, but not if done slowly. It certainly opens up her eyes and takes away that hooding, so that they shine brighter. Your thumbnail is where you can really spot the differences. But are we sure that the one on the left is 2010? That looks pre any nose job, and i think you'd mentioned her first was 2005-7. She's done good work... now she just needs to work on her personality 😬

I watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and she clearly had a fresh looking face compared to when she was in stranger things. She has always been gorgeous, but it is quite obvious she had some work or touch-ups done.

I support anyone who wants plastic surgery. I had a tummy tuck after I was done having kids. What makes is sad is all these celebrities are starting to look the same. They get the same necessary procedures to get the same nose, the same prominent cheeks, the same eye shape, etc.
They were all already naturally beautiful and I wish we saw more variety in facial features in Hollywood. And all the pressure from the industry to look “perfrct” in the ways they say. She looks great now. She also looked great before. But ultimately, it’s what she wants and how she feels.
ETA I would love a neck lift, but that comes with a face lift and doing anything to my face scares me. I mean, you can’t hide that if anything goes wrong.

And how much of that idea has come from our ever escalating alterations of our appearances. Makeup like kohl liner has been around since at least ancient Egyptian times, but in the last century, women have done more and more to alter our appearances to the point of being unrecognizable without it.
The amount of makeup women wear has increased dramatically the last few decades.
I’m the first to admit I do plenty to improved my appearance. I had braces. I’ve whitened my teeth a few times. I color my hair to cover the gray, polish my nails, wear some makeup (but personally prefer a more natural look). I wear false tanner in the summer, used skin care products, etc. Abd it’s ok to do all of these things women do to feel more attractive. But how much of that is influenced by the false beauty standard set by media and unattainable “perfection” that’s created with photoshop?
What we perceive as beautiful has changed to something articlficiually created.
Most of us do things to keep up with this unachievable standard, but we all have natural beauty features, like Lorry points out. We need to start appreciating them again.

Great analysis Lori - Blake’s work has been done so well to keep her looking young and natural. Considerable eye and nose work but it has really brought out her natural beauty traits. Her botox and fillers are very strategic and never overdone.
Would like to see an update on Angelina Jolie - she’s looking amazingly flawless in 2024, ageing with such incredible grace. I am not sure if it’s another facelift, or some fat transfer or just styling (the lighter hair etc) and some serious skin and non invasive maintenance work or something else??
If I'm not mistaken she denies any plastic surgery on her face (this was back in the day - when she already had done a rino) so need to check if she changed her stance on this.
She had great surgeons and looks lovely. I hope you’ll do an update on Angela Jolie. There are recent videos from her Venice trip that shocked me because she looks so different, and not because of her new hair color. Her nose reminds me of a boxer’s that’s been broken-flat and wider than I recall. I don’t know if it’s an optical illusion due to nasal labial folds that seem more pronounced and/or cheeks that were newly filled.
She’s always been extremely thin and maybe as we age this makes our face look more gaunt, so perhaps that’s it. I’m stumped and hope you can explain.
People also commented that her arms look frail and transparent, but again, she’s always been super thin and perhaps it’s age-related.
Going through surgical menopause at an early age as she did was undoubtedly difficult which could take a toll on one’s appearance.

I just looked and I think she got something done to her jaw? It's the widest part of her face now and it looks so angular and it wasn't like that at all before.. this with the buccal fat removal, it does look a bit uncanny, but she's still beautiful imo

Her hair is gorgeous and actually very healthy looking. People used to pin-straight hair - or even worse, flat-ironed hair - just don't know what wavy or curly hair looks like when it's healthy. A bit of frizz or texture is wonderful! And, yep, I have hair just like hers, very thick and wavy, but recently cut off 10" so mine is just below shoulder length. All that hair gives you a headache if you wear it up very often, and my lifestyle doesn't lend to wearing it down most of the time like Blake.

In China, a recently A-list popular actress named Zhao Lusi is under scrutiny because people are speculating she had done surgery although she denied having had any work done. I think it’s worth for you to check out and have them discussed
I think the nose jobs were great. I was wondering from a health point of view how it would affect her.
My dad had several motorbike accidents (he was a Mod) and had to have reconstruction work on his very broken nose. Since then, he's had sinus issues and even trouble with pain when ascending or descending on a plane.
He can't really breathe through his nose. His was non optional

I don't like her as a person but I agree that she has done her plastic surgery well and has timed it out so that it looks conservative. I'm glad you spoke about her teeth and the gum line revision. Because it was apparent that even after braces, she had gum work and smoothed out the uneven gums.
Her nose is the biggest change to her face. But I do think it looks good and with obvious revisions. And the eye work would be next... Also very apparent, but not if done slowly. It certainly opens up her eyes and takes away that hooding, so that they shine brighter.
Your thumbnail is where you can really spot the differences. But are we sure that the one on the left is 2010? That looks pre any nose job, and i think you'd mentioned her first was 2005-7. She's done good work... now she just needs to work on her personality 😬
