Scooby Dooby Doo. A cartoon about a quirky gang of investigators made by Hanna-Barbera that have traveled far and wide to solve strange supernatural looking mysteries alongside a talking dog, that no one seems to bring up for some reason. The interest of viewers, for good or bad, have been keep by this group of 5 for the last 50 years, including with video games. However, there hasn't been another Scooby Doo game since this one, ten years ago. I'll be looking at Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp today to find out why.

Man, this game was the absolute best. I want to play it again. And experience the nostalgia myself
This was the first game Ive ever played it's amazing and actually fun wish they made more games like that
I actually had this thought the other day, i bought the game on Amazon and dug out my old wii u and yea nostalgia at it's finest
I swear this game was way better than it was supposed to. The story was great, it tied in characters from First Frights, CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION?! The DS game is the one I played the most, and oddly it wasn't a normal kind of ds version. It was actually just a port of the game with all the hardware limitations of the ds. Most ds versions are just 2d sidescrollers, and I love that it was a port. Either way, spooky swamp is one of my favorite childhood games, and I can actually say it has earned that title. Seriously, play this game, it's so good

Still have the disc somewhere, might set up Dolphin and re-play it.
It’s well worth it, I did it with dolphin and even on my bad slow laptop it still ran really well with very little crashes and controls were easy to set up once connected a ps4 controller
For me, I saw an ad for Scooby Doo First Frights, asked for it but forgot the name, and got lucky as what I called it was actually the name of the sequel I hadn’t heard of
I remember owning this game on the ds, it was some of the most low quality early 2010s ds garbage you could find and I loved every second of it as a kid
TBH, the WWE crossover with scooby doo wasn't actually that bad. Weird, didn't need to exist, but definitely not as horrible as some people make it out.
I probably beat this game more times than Scooby Doo had crossovers. Which is saying a lot
Omg. Now im on nostalgic, remembering when i played that game 10 years ago on ps2. Playing co-op with my brother, and finished it by days cuz we dont have memory card, lol.
The story was good, the fighting's also good, the mystery in it, 10/10 imo.
To me, none of the Scooby-Doo video games have the true slapstick and investigative nature of the series, and that's from someone who's been a huge Scooby-Doo fan since childhood. In my opinion, the perfect gameplay formula with which to create a Scooby-Doo video game is as follows 👇
- Go around a certain area to look for clues and question suspects and witnesses.
- Escape from the monster on duty in specially demented and cartoonish chases.
- Use a special mind palace to connect the clues collected in the case in order to solve the mystery and figure out who the monster really is.
- A combat system that crystallizes on the figures of Fred and Daphne (before anyone asks why this, it's because Fred and Daphne are skilled in martial arts and are braver than their teammates)
- The ability to also use the Mystery Machine in some sections.
In short, a gameplay similar to Sherlock Holmes Chapter One but with crimes, gameplay elements and sound-and-character design that better fits the Scooby-Doo mythology + a mind palace that doesn't say who is guilty at the end of it, but after it (in the sense that when you collect all the clues you don't say who is under the monster costume, but something like "The culprit is the one whose house Mr. Herren mortgaged", or something like that) and that gives only one end to the case, with no alternate ending.
I'm more than sure that, if well managed, something very funny would come out of it this way.

Believe it or not I like the first game a lot better than this one but I still think this game has some fun ideas that I’d like to come back to.
This is actually my first ever Scooby-Doo game, so it'll be interesting going back one day and seeing how games changed.

I remember when I got the ds port in 2013 as a birthday gift, and remembering thinking the graphics were the greatest thing ever as a little kid. Then after revisiting it when I got older I was pretty shocked how low rendered the ds port actually is 😂. Still very much love the game either way.

This game is my childhood. I remember I like play this many times when I was a kid. Even if I play the video games monster vs alien more than this game but that doesn’t I don’t like it. This game has good point but saddly the thing I don’t like in this game is Lila’s backstory because personnally I tried to see the proof about the real history about Lila, the swamp has many clue and el muncho and the world 2 too. But with this clues I have some theory about her and for me it making sens than the cold reason like: "my familly move away long ago and I have to stay with Suji". It look like Lila hide her story in mystery inc for thinking about a dark reason behide the reason why she manipulate Shaggy and Scooby. So if you want to know about the theory I found about this mystery character, awser here ^^

I remember this wii game fondly as it was the first time I experienced a glitch in all my gaming experience.
The glitch was located within el muncho and was inside of a cave you walked through. An entire section of the floor just didn’t load in allowing me to fall out of bounds and end up with a massively screwed up camera when the game sent me back into playable grounds.
Funnily enough my first softlock experienced was in the games prequel “first frights”.

Technically this wasn’t the last scooby-doo game, Lego dimensions featured scooby-doo characters, and there’s multiverses featuring shaggy and velma, they should’ve went with scooby over Velma though.

Lila is really selfish! She asked two strangers to find ingredients for a soup and risk their lives while she does nothing! She could looked for the food and let the guys watch the meal but didn't think it was a good idea apparently. This lady is lazy and not very smart 😂
I have the game and it's fun BUT there's only 3 locations to explore and no map so it's hard to know where i am most of the time. Also, the costumes don't give you new attacks. That's a bit dissapointing! It owuld be cool to walked with weird outfits AND they let you use new moves.

I get the laugh track is not supposed to be funny, but, just like in the game, it’s annoying, and I don’t know if that’s an accomplishment by accurately recreating the feeling from the game, or a failure because of how annoying and out of place it was. Good review tho
