I never had a rotary but I fw them heavyyy (too expensive) but I think a vented hood helps a V mount anyway.. jus not the scoop version, jus like Ryosuke's FC3S 😂😂
A vented hood would definetly help the vmount set up. I stuck with the oem hood because it is made of aluminium, super light and visually appealing in my eyes.
Both setups are great. I really like my rotary extreme vmount, but my one complaint is that it is hard to find a way to feed cold air into my k&n filter. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the Greddy. I really like how Greddy did the tank pipe, and it leaves room for a ram air intake. The rotary extreme does have a larger intercooler for higher power cars. If you are not going over 600rwhp, the greedy should be more than sufficient. Thank you for your comment, and I hope I was able to help.

Looking to get a v mount would you recommend the extreme rotary over the greddy?
