Waner SG can be driven by your phone itself. You won't notice that much difference when using a dedicated DAC, unless you're listening to Lossless tracks.
@@vaishacnambiar1131 Older KZs are far from being balanced. It's a heavy V. If you want a balanced sounding KZ, the only options are KZ EDC Pro, or the KZ ZS12 Pro X (with switches set to 1101)
Great content, Rohit! I’m currently looking to buy an IEM under 2k. My preference is for strong bass and a good mid-range; I'm not too concerned about treble, as long as the highs remain clear and crisp. I’d also prefer a wider soundstage and good imaging. I’m torn between the KZ ZSN Pro 2 and the Tangzu Wan'er SG. I realize they have different sound signatures, but I'm wondering which one would better suit my needs. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
You won't be able to get both a good bass and a good midrange. Usually bass heavy IEMs have very poor midrange. An overall good IEM would be the TruthEar GATe.
Hey, do you know any portable DAC under 10k which also provides EQ software? The third party EQ apps cause the bass to distort by adding some extra noise to it.
There are some portable DACs that offer EQ in the hardware level as well. For example the Shanling UA4 (www.theaudiostore.in/ua4) has a great DAC chip, and provides EQ in its firmware. Or you can go with a Bluetooth DAC amp like the BTR15 from Fiio (www.headphonezone.in/products/fiio-btr15) that has an app to control EQ.
"I have a Galaxy A52s, which was Samsung's last midrange/flagship device to feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
