Very informative, thank you. When I first started reading the Bible for the very first time some years ago I started reading the NIV because the employee at Barnes and noble said it would be the easiest to understand. After about a year of reading the NIV I decided to buy a KJV because I would hear good things about it. At first I had a hard time understanding it but I didn’t give up and kept reading it and now it’s the version I best understand and I find it hard to read any other version but the KJV. In my opinion it has so much flavor and is a super enjoyable read. Again, thanks for the information. God bless you!
@@SimplyProtestantBibleBeliever I just looked him up after reading your comment and I agree with much of what he says! They are tools to help us understand God’s Word more, not a means to divide Christians👌
@@sabrinaklass you will especially love what he has to say about the KJV and it’s “false friends” for those of us who have read the KJV in the past heavily, it’s absolutely shocking how much we miss because of the dated English, Wards research is groundbreaking (you’ll know more of what I mean when you see his playlist on ‘KJV False Friends’). He demonstrates that 99% of readers of the KJV (including pastors) misunderstand it constantly due to these words he calls “false friends”. My wife loves your channel (for womanhood, head coverings and encouragement), and is so encouraged by your going for a Master’s degree from Westminster, keep on doing what you’re doing!
For me NKJV is easier than KJV yet still quite precise. I use NLT for easy understanding as I am not native speaker. Hello from Slovakia, want to visit Romania, especially the castle and woods.

You would love Mark Ward and his discussion on this issue!
