This was very well done roller set and it's not easy roller setting your hair yourself especially with long hair! Roller sets really are the healthiest way to style relaxed hair because there's no direct heat. Relaxed hair doesn't need all that heat.

Going to challenge myself to do the freestyle set in the back. I usually section my hair straight down for middle, then down behind the ears to seperate back sides & front sides

Love your hair.question Do you put protein in your hair after a relaxer i wii be doing my hair soon i have low porosity hair i wants to know if i need protein after my relaxer my last relaxer was on 9/2/2022 I did not use any protein cause people on TH-cam says not to put protein on low porosity hair one more question are you a cosmetologist you do your hair like a pro 🥰🇯🇲 I enjoy 😊
Once the relaxer is placed on your hair it does disturb the protein of your hair thus making your hair weaker than if it was left undisturbed and that goes for all porosity type. However, low porosity hair are usually much stronger because it’s cuticles are closed and the inside structure are not affect by daily elements, but the relaxer process will cause the cuticles to open which means that this is a good time to strengthen the hair structure that was disturbed during the relaxer process. However I would not recommend a harsh protein treatment, you could use a conditioning product that already contain protein ingredients. After about two weeks post relaxer you could use a regular protein treatment along with a moisture treatment. There are some conditioning protein treatment on the market that are light these can be used on your relaxer day.
