@@JasonZhao ive been enjoying the past couple videos especially the new york birthday vlog. How do you keep your gear safe when vlogging in public. Also would you recommend having a shotgun for audio or is a wireless rode lav good on its own?
@@adamthemulch I just try and be mindful of my surroundings, there’s always a risk but people usually dont care. Also if I had to only choose one I would go shotgun unless you know that you’re gonna be far away from the camera at all times
I really want to start vlogging and uploading. Not for views or money. Rather for the next generation to see and for my grandkids or anyone really who searches my name. It’s so scary documenting your life but it’s a way to grow and have no regrets when you get older. You’ll have memories you can easily search and have all in one place rather than looking through old phones, etc. Having them being lost documents in the future
That’s what I think of as well, so many pictures taken that I’ll never look at again. But putting it together as a short film makes it more meaningful and more likely that I’ll rewatch in the future
I just started my TH-cam channel to document my life-sharing travel and concert vlogs. Every time I hit the record button, edit the videos, and watch them on TH-cam, I feel even more grateful and appreciative of my life. I get so excited to experience new things and watch them over and over again, lol. I'm not yet at the point of having a community with the same interests, but I'm really excited for that part as well! :))
Also we do live different lives. We are different creatures. We are not the same as you on many levels but that doesn't make our lives better. you just don't know about us 🤷🏾♂️
such a coincidence that this video popped up on my front page. i was just talking with my therapist today how lost i was and my interest in pursuing vlogging, just as a new way to document my memories. i'm a wedding photographer and starting taking photos for fun and it turned into my full time career 3 years ago. I'm so used to being behind the camera but also want to remember more of the person who created so many memories for others. thank you for inspiring me and others to start!
This was the inspiration I needed to see today. I have been contemplating getting back into vlogging and creating videos for the past 6 months since my partner I was creating everything with and I broke up. Truly miss the creative aspect in my daily life, the community we built, and the appreciative comments when people got something out of the videos. Thank you.
Hey man, I am totally with you on this. The thing i regretted the most was not documenting or even taking photos of anything because back then I told myself that I should be enjoying the moments instead of taking photos/videos but now I have nothing to look back for, it breaks my heart but yeah I am starting to document and vlog my life but it is definitely not easy since I have been growing up not doing it. I am 31yo now best of luck to you!
I’m not in my 20’s but I have lived an interesting life and many of my friends have told me more than once to start documenting it. I think I will. Thanks.
🌟 Your life is a story-each moment a chapter. By vlogging, you’re not just documenting events; you’re uncovering deeper truths about your journey. Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Start sharing, and inspire others while discovering your true self! 📹✨ #LiveFully
Glad to have stumbled upon your video! I just started vlogging and posting here on TH-cam a few months ago and the overthinking everything (editing, storytelling, etc.) leads to producing nothing. Your video gives me the inspiration to just shoot and document life :) Thank you for this!
That is the point! I always waited for the “right time” and I just realized it is not gonna come until I start :) so, to be honest I’ve already started! But, I have to say, you’re really really good! Good job and thank you for the video! 🍀
Agree with everything you're saying. I take creating things way too seriously and rarely vlog, but it is fun and there is value in it. I wish more people would create quality vlogs again so there was more to watch on TH-cam.
4:34 couldn't agree more. in 3 weeks, I'm starting a weekly series documenting my entrepreneur journey in SF. This is the exact reason I'm doing it, to connect with like minded people, hire them for my company and back each other. GREAT VIDEO DUDE! If you're ever in SF, hit me up!
My struggle is that I literally do nothing in my daily life, everyday is the same, so I don't know how to create interesting content😭 Also, English isn't my first language, so it's pretty nerve wrecking to step over the fear of speaking out loud and making mistakes lol
love this video, I'm sure you've inspired many people to start creating content. I think it's so important for people to recognise how lucky we are to be able to record our memories and look back on them in the future
Agree with you a 100% with everything you said in this video. I've been incorporating my film photography in the mix too. Love being a creative. Love seeing you do your thing bro
Documenting your journey around something you’re passionate about can be one of the most rewarding experiences. Vlogs are a powerful way to share the story you want to tell and to connect with others who share your interests. Putting yourself out there can feel challenging, but it’s also one of the most courageous steps you can take. Embrace it, you never know who you’ll inspire along the way!
Thanks for this bro and tbvh this is why I’m starting my account as well bro it’s not about followers and become famous but it’s okay to make memories and the progression about our lives🥺🙌
Love this dude! And couldn't agree more. I've been vlogging for four years or so and I'm always talking about how great it is to lock in memories but I've never thought about the romanticizing and appreciating life is so true! Also great to see someone else vlogging in Chicago. I feel like there's not many of us Chicago Vloggers! I love vlogging in this city!
Just stumbled upon this thanks to the TH-cam gods. Loved it! You're right about the community thing though dude, I'm currently trying to do something similar here in Houston. Hopefully we can bring people together and make their lives a bit more full...
Gotta say, this gave me a bit of a nudge to continue working on my channel! I'm not very consistent on posting, but what you said here makes sense! Thank you! 🤗✨️
Thanks for the video! I loved how you mentioned it's like a daily journal reflection; that's how I feel. I just started a vlogging channel myself. Wish me luck!
ngl I've been feeling this for the past couple years, finally started my video diaries taken from my Mom's old camera. Totally agree with about saving and filming the memories and not caring about fame + popularity. A very good way to reflect and document our teeny little lives.
I love your vlogging style and quality! I would also love to see more of your vlogs with a stabilizer of some sort (like a gimbal or gimbal dupe from amazon). Looking forward to seeing more of your content!
I'm just trying to start vlogging on my channel, it's quite hard for me because talking to the camera stresses me out and I feel like everyone looks at me strangely when I'm recording, but I won't give up and I'll keep doing it until I finally feel natural in front of the camera. Thank you for the motivation, great video and GREETINGS TO ALL VLOGGERS📸
Saved this video onto my watch later, and I'm glad I did. I view making videos as your very own "time machine" where you can just go back to old videos, and where you were at in life. Good video man!
Really digging the content! This made me miss/regret that I stopped creating content. I 100% agree with you on the idea of capturing every day life. Stoked to now follow along with your journey!

Great video! I’m glad it got recommended to me! I couldn’t agree more, vlogging is totally worth. Even if it’s just to be able to look back at videos from your life like 10 years ago. So fun!
Thank you for sharing! I agree we should document our lives and it does give us an opportunity to network with new communities. Keep up the great work! I really enjoyed the song selection.

Thank you for sharing this amazing message and looking forward to a meet up in London soon. 🙂
loved this vlog. there's no better reason to document your life, but to romanticize it and make it special. really enjoyed this, jason! also this videography/camera footage is so pretty!
