Wait… this was an incredible video. I’ve been looking more for these kinds of videos that have such a huge focus on visual storytelling. I say this over and over, my favorite storytelling principal is don’t give 4, give 2+2. The “sorry we’re closed” shot and the momentum built up in the cinematography and editing was so much more powerful than someone in selfie mode just saying “Aw man it’s closed.” I felt a gut punch when I saw that lol I am not over exaggerating by saying this was one of the most inspirational TH-cam videos I’ve seen in a long time when it comes to my own filmmaking ☺️

Your videos are such a breath of fresh air, i can literally feel it. I love how it kinda gives this retro hollywood flim vibe and i'm honestly living for it. The thing you said at 5:25 is really inspiring. "Its your lens you see the world through" I've recently been struggling with thinking i have no worth in this world and i've been feeling like an npc who is doing the same thing everyday in autopilot mode. This video woke me up pretty much and changed my perspective and made me remember again that i am the one who's in control of my own life.

This is such an amazing mix of cinematic clips and talking (but still calm) clips. You put so much effort in it, I love it.
I remember having a conversation with an uncle of mine who was (back then and still is) in the film industry. He was talking about how the younger generation will never underatand why some shots are more powerful than others. The seemingly mundane shots (for example: garage door opening or the car drive b roll) only makes sense all the more because that's the story you're saying through the video and I love it! Great work!

My job is kind of weird. I’ve worked with heaps of TH-camrs, probably having studied hundreds to thousands of videos, having worked on a few with a few million views with others…but, I typically find vlogs in general boring, so I don’t usually watch them.
But yours definitely has been an exception. The great attention to detail in videography was super cool, just all the intentionality in stuff like composition. You have your own authenticity and style.
