It would help a lot if u showed what brushes u r using while shading, like yeah, u mention soft brush and hard brush but they arent shown by default or the default ones do not give the same effect as yours

14:32 , turning edge? What's that? And what about Fresnel effect? Since the hair of your's reflective surface, due to the strong highlight, it must reflect the environment on those parts of the surface where you put the turning edges.

That was great! Thank you. I have a quick question if it doesn't bother you. Would you recommand to use a pen shape not round to make textures like yours? I see you and other artists do that and I'm wondering if it's because I use a round one that my strokes make my rendering look bobbly and flat.
