i 4x4 swapped my 02 2500hd. you need the bottom cross member from a 4x4 truck, hole saw the bushing out of a 4x4 passenger side frame rail the wish bone for the passenger side and the upper diff mount off a 4x4 frame. the hole for the manual t case shifter is stamped into the body. pretty easy swap. we did it on jack stands in about a week of solid work.
Have a LMM truck that has 310K on it second engine though the first made it 210K and broke the crank second engine spun all the main bearings at 310K pulls a trailer a lot but probably should’ve gotten rid of all the emissions stuff when I had it changed but I was middle of nowhere Wyoming and had a dealer do it

Lol Wyatt just ran an 8.7 in the quarter and he's only gonna go faster. It would take a ton more hp for a full body street truck to beat him Be a cool race though
One thing I always notice on egr is that trucks that idle a bunch has more build up and if I tear down a motor I go all the way cause I've had bad luck with used bottom ends with any decent amount of boost

I know it might make life a little easier but I have never pulled that much of a front end off a truck to pull a motor. Less stuff you take apart less stuff you have to put back together. Guess I got paid by the job not the hour

Hey JH. Why don’t you twin turbo that engine? I have a 7.3 power stroke that I twin turboed and it’s kickass. I only have gt35’s 700 ball bearing turbos on it and it is around 1400 hp. But I wasn’t after big hp just power from idle to 5000 rpm. It didn’t like reving that high but I did some research and worked that shit out. Oh and these egr. Is one of the biggest scams from the big car companies. It has nothing to do with pollution. It’s just there to fuck your engines so you have to get it repaired or replace. Same as these none serviceable auto gearboxes. I have done test on pollution on diesel and petroleum engines and proved that it is just a scam and it does not drop the pollution it makes more pollution yes that’s right more. I have done some videos on this witch will be up on my TH-cam channel Outta Control Racing. Cain hard guys.

Love the safety crocs. Now I don't do the amount of Diesels you do, but the few Duramax's I have done headgaskets on have had broken head bolts
