I really cant decide between the GSX S1000 and Z900 SE... I like the looks on the Z900 more, and the sound with a slip on is really good, but the GSX has the quickshifter... It's hard, really hard.
Solid review of the what the bike is Peter, plus a bit more. I just bought this identical bike (a week ago) but because I too am in the Canada (the Maritimes) I will be eagerly awaiting spring to get it out. It's replacing my 2010 Ninja 650 that I bought new. I'm expecting it to be a very nice upgrade. 🐺
I really miss that you try the bikes, so I can hear the sound, and you can comment on the driver experience. The walkthrough about the bikes is great. Could you consider, to do both??
At this exact moment, there is a large snowstorm happening. Schools are cancelled, the roads aren't great for cars, so they're impassable for motorcycles like this. Throughout the summer, I'll be able to take bikes outside again but most of what I review will be brand new bikes that I can't put a lot of miles on. I'll continue to do as many of these walk-around videos as I can, but if in able to ride anything, I'll include that. At the end of the day, we'll probably have to rely on riding reviews from some of the other great TH-camrs, but I'll do what I can. I did buy a Z900RS SE for myself, and I plan to make that a regular piece of the channel with plenty of riding videyof that. I'll have an opportunity to get other bikes on the road, but if I had to wait to make a video until I could ride a bike on camera, I wouldn't be able to produce as much content as I do right now.
Hey, are we not getting the "Made in Japan" badge on the frame in North America? I noticed that in other Europe reviews the bike has it next to the triple tree.
It seems that Kawasaki is moving away from those on some bikes. These are the Brembo brakes, and they've never bene petal style discs, but the Ninja 1000SX used to have petal style discs, and even though it doesn't use Brembo's it also has reverted back to round discs from petal style ones.
@@abhi7887 Yeah, it should be arriving soon! I'm really looking forward to getting a series of videos not he super sport line. I'll also be seeing the Ninja 1000SX which was the bike I had planned to buy before the Z900RS SE took my money! Lots of great bikes coming for me to go through in detail again and again! Should be fun! Thanks for supporting the channel!
I have the 2023 z900 in grey black and red. Love the bike but you are wrong about the seat. It is a ball crusher. The seat is hard and one will get tired of riding with in 30 minutes.
I have the blue 2020 model, and of all the bikes I've owned in 30 years of riding, this is by far my favorite. I can't see parting ways with it.
you ride aggressive?
How to get blue one?
I just bought a blue 2020 z900!
I might have to trade my ninja 400 for this z900, I just can’t decide this model or the retro one!

I don't think the SE is available in Australia? We only seem to have the standard Z900
Yeah, that's really a shame And colour options are very limited 😢
The only thing missing is a QS and Cruise control imo..
Yeah. I'd like to see those too.
Agree, it's one/two of the reasons I'm still shopping to see what's available.
The display is really amazing! So compact, yet all the important information is on there. Love the video
Yeah. For a retro looking display, you don't lose anything at all. I agree, I think it's well done. Thanks for watching!
Very good video. Very informative. Very helpful.
Thanks so much for watching!
I will be ordering mine in July
I love this bike. One day..
My "one day" arrived this year. I hear you! Thanks for watching!
Which model can I get more value for money? Z1000r or Z900Se?
The Ninja 1000 SX has more electronic features. The Z900SE has brand name brakes (Brembo) and suspension (Ohlins) so it depends on what you value.

I wonder if the North American ones are made in the Kawasaki factory in Taiwan? I'll have to look into that.
@@PeterLoweOne Thank you, keep us posted :) Interesting that the SE version wouldn't be made in Japan.
This nice bike
100km how many liter
So no more Petal Discs?

@Peter Lowe One Peter I saw that a 10R is listed on the site. Cant wait to see your review on that.
