I think that if you keep your foot lightly on the brake it will allow you to move forward with the door open. I too could not find a way to get the Tazer Mini to disable the Auto Park (non) feature. Take care,
"In motion" isn't for autopark BTW. it's for entering addresses and such in the navigation menus. If it's set to Off (factory) you can't enter data while driving. If it's set to On, you can.
Once I reached the part of the video about Auto Stop Start, I hit Pause, Bought this Item, came back and resumed the video to the end. Enjoyed learning about all the other little nuggets that this device delivers. Thanks for posting!
Great info, thanks! Can't wait to see the Z Automotive front camera install. I have the Tazer Mini for my JLUR & had problems updating firmware right after I updated my Mac to Catalina. I contacted Z Auto & actually got to speak with their software engineer who configured my laptop & the Mini to get the update. My point being their CS is outstanding!
Thanks for letting us know about the CS. It is t often (anymore) that companies get recognized for going above and beyond. You posting that fact just pushed me over the line in the decision to buy one… I just …. Well… need to sell two of my other cars so I can buy a Jeep. Thanks Casey and Boldr!!
I'd recommend putting tire pressure sensors in your wheels you only have to break the bead at the valve to install them so it's not to bad. with the Tazer Jl you can turn down the minimum air pressure. its really handy when you air up or down you can use your gauge on your dash to hit the right pressures. I air up all four tires at once and just sit in my jeep when it's raining and watch the guage on the inside. It works slick. Get the front camera as well from Z automotive its an easy install and works awesome. I use it all the time wheeling
Just successfully fitted a Tazer to my 2020 JLR. Mine is a right hand drive (Australian) and very different to yours in the N America models - very fiddly and difficult to get to the 2 security gateway plugs located high on the right hand side behind the steering column and OBD etc. Had to use long-nosed pliers. Once freed, plugs very easy to install as in your video. Now onto the front-facing cam... Thanks for great videos they really help and provide great inspiration.
Lockers cut out at 12 MPH in 4 High. But rear locker stays engaged in 2 wheel drive. I also love the seatbelt dinger cut out. I never knew that about auto park. I thought it was something fancy were the Jeep parked it self and I did not have that feature due to having a manual transmission. The full traction control kill is also great for sand driving! Traction control on a manual sucks and Jeep can't figure out why people are burning up clutches.
Another great video Casey! I love the discovery that the Tazer JL allows us Wrangler owners to add a camera to the front grill for trail monitoring. The Tazer mod is totally worth its price for the features it brings.
Auto stop start reseting every new start was an EPA regulation to coax users into using it, because it saves fuel. Not great for offroading though. Ive also heard rumors the button will go away eventually
The auto stop/start feature fix is worth the price! Doing that button everytime I start is a pain! Like turning my lights on to the second from right click to get running lights, as well. Now if I could just fix those awkward intrusive headrests I would be a happy camper!
@@Casey250 about to do that! Try the Rocky Mountain Sheep skin seat covers. I have the cloth interior and have used this companies seat covers for decades. Great in AZ, cool summer and great in the winter. Thanks!

@@Casey250 True. Good point. I guess that would be your end of the problem up there in Canada. Most Texas winter days range from 32° F in the morning to about 65° F in the afternoons, then back to freezing overnight.
Casey - looking at the video. It may not have been you turning on and off the car that got the setting to stick. When you first tried you had your seatbelt off - the second time you put your seatbelt on. From what I'm hearing (maybe you can confirm) …. the autopark still comes on if you have your seatbelt off and open the the door.
Its just the cuts in the video. I move it around all the time with the door open and no seatbelt. From other experiences sounded like it takes a couple on offs of the jeep to grab the configuration.
I just did a fist pump when he brought up the front camera cargo-cam feature on the Tazer. I don't even own a JL haha...was just stoked for Casey cause that's gonna be siiiick 😁
For some reason the Taser JL manual indicates that that in motion is to allow in motion navigation address entry. Manual doesn’t say anything about the auto park feature linked to in motion. I wonder if its a Canada only setting?
Maybe the auto stop start is a Canada thing? Or a diesel thing? My 3.6 v6 2018 JLU remembers my last selection (I never have it on)

Should relocate the rear camera higher and clear of side obstructions on a mono-pod mount above the rear tire to get a wider rear view of all lanes behind you. Higher and wider is always better. Would allow you to see cars in your blind spot.
Thanks for the video, I even asked the Jeep service department but not a straight answer, however you have showed me a option about “stop and start,’” 👍
Im trying to get the LED Headlights to come on in my 2021 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude, when I do a remote start, but for some reason, they don't turn on. Does a tazer fix this?
the auto start stop feature protects the dpf...when a diesel sits at a light on idle it emits soot (not good for the dpf) when one re-accelerates at green the soot goes to the exhauste ie dpf and will clog it after a certain number of miles. My idea is the start/stop is built in for that and for carbon footprint tolerances... to each his own, usually if you drive a long distance from time to time it negates the clog issue and soot burn-off is good and you can keep the start stop feature and turn it off when not needed...
Interesting on the back up camera. There currently is a FCA recall on many of their vehicles because the rear monitor is staying on and distracting driving.
I happened to land on this great video. Thanks. I wonder about the Auto Park. Mine used to work until an update. Then quite a few months have passed since. I see your's works. The 'Motion ON/Off you're referring to in the video has to do with the Navigation, per the instruction manual. Basically a nanny to not play with navigation while you're moving. Garmin has the same. I emailed and asked Z Automotive today 6-5-2020 and they repeated that FCA will not allow them to access the Auto Park to turn it off. They said 'mini' so I don't know about other models of Tazer. So Z Auto didn't turn off your auto park, but I'd love to know how you did, so I get do it to mine. In your video, all I can see is you driving really slowly. Mine can move like that too-SLOWLY. Too fast and it'll slam into park. So my question is- does it really shut off? Or are you just moving too slow to set it? I'm not trying to be a jerk, I really so want to know. This is 1 of 4 reasons I bought the Tazer, then I got robbed! :-) (the turn camera was #2 reason for purchase, but they only claim the 8 inch radio, not the 7 that I have :-( Thanks for more insight

If you need to take it in to the dealer, you can “unmarry” the taser and it will undo any settings that you changed. When you get the Jeep back you just plug it back in and redo your settings

I'm not sure a superchips td2 is available for a JL. I have one in my JK, the td2 does more (rear camera, aux switches, etc) but I prefer not having a device mounted on my dash and I think there are better solutions for aux switches etc then a trail dash 2
How would take the doors off with the auto park? Does it know your doors have been removed? Sorry might have missed that part
I didn't discuss it, but yes auto park is disabled when the wiring harness for the door is disconnected.
What is your tire pressure now also what is your tpms warning light psi set?
I don't have tpms sensors
Why did you take out your tpms sensor?
Do they make a model for the JK.
Not as far as I know. I use a Trail Dash 2 on my JK.
Where do you access the rear camera lane change mode?
Light Show?
DTC’s: 0
Clear CELs?
UnMarry?
Perf?
TPMS?
JL LT:11.3.0
SerNo:XXXX
UnMryNo:XXXX
full reboot?
I can't recall, it might be under the live settings when the vehicle is running.
@@Casey250 It is, I… heaven forbid… read the instructions!
The shame of it, they’ll be taking my “man card” away next. 🤪😂🤣 LOL!
I’m going to muddle my way through it. Thanks for the reply, good stuff.
My razor jl came with my jl when I bought it and it don’t see an option for turn cam ?
Well I have the front camera by zauto and it's not as good as the JT. It's like 480 or 720 I believe but mine is good but definitely pixelated.
Your Jeep looks great. Thanks for the videos. 👍
Thanks! And your welcome!
My mini do not show the Radio mode
Affects anything of the warranty?
Chamfert 👍
Great features, great video; but what I really want to know is if you can turn off the seat belt reminder beep when not using the belt? Thanks.
You can. However, in the current firmware my dash display keeps flickering with the seatbelt warning display and its kind of annoying. I am going to update my Tazer to the most recent and see if it remediated it.
Hey, cool video/info. Thanks. Question...Did you stuff 35's on that rig with no lift or leveling kit?
Looks like you may get some serious rub. What kind of wheeling do you do? 1's and 2's, Gravel roads?
Do you know if this voids the warranty?
If you need to take it in to the dealer, you can “unmarry” the taser and it will undo any settings that you changed. When you get the Jeep back you just plug it back in and redo your settings
what dash mount phone holder are u using?
Ive since switched to a Rokform mount
How was the mpg after you reset the speedometer
Will using this void the warranty?
Wait why was your check engine light on
If the vehicle is in run but not running it is on
