They’ll likely come out with some sort of foam mattress to fill the negative space when you fold the second row down. Beats having to build out an entire platform. Roof top tents are way overpriced in my opinion but definitely an alternative solution.
@@mikeespineli1717 You calling me fat? 😂😂 that’s certainly another consideration. I think if you were to build a platform it can be off the mounting points so it wouldn’t put additional weight on the battery pack.
@ ohh lol I wasn’t saying that. In my head I was thinking I’m gonna load my cooler, and a whole bunch of gearboxes in that the back and my might go over the weight limit. It’s just something that sucks that you have to think about when loading and would rather not have a limit that small. That is smart though on building a platform to get around this limitation.
@@mikeespineli1717 Thats ONLY for the removal panel closest to the rear hatch. If you saw this on Car Care Nuts chanel, he got this wrong and didn’t read the manual.
If the most important thing of a LandCruiser was "how much you can fit inside", you'd buy another vehicle. A LandCruiser is a combination of points.

The problem is not only the raised surface but that it only has a weight limit of 60kg/132lbs.
